Camino Verde Bed & Breakfast Monteverde

One of our favourite stays of the trip. Breakfast was good and included fruit juice and coffee. The room was a bit on the smaller side but this was fine for us as we was sharing a bathroom anyway. The soap they provided was high quality. Good location near to town and the staff were always super helpful. Loved sitting by the fire on an evening reading my book too! Kitchen was also big and always clean.

We recently travelled with our two teen daughters to Costa Rica, and Camino Verde was our first lodging of the trip. This is such a charming bed and breakfast! The layout is really cool, with different "wings" and levels. We loved the delicious breakfast, which was made to order each day. They also had free coffee and tea and popcorn was available in the afternoons. The views were stunning and we appreciated that it is only a short, safe walk to restaurants and shops. There is also a small parking lot across the street, which we were able to park our rental car in.

A trip to Costa Rica included a stay at Camino Verde B&B in Santa Elena, which proved to be a highlight. The staff, including Diego, are attentive and passionate about the area. They provide information on local tours, such as zip-lining and guided night walks. This assistance helps visitors make the most of their stay.|Location and amenities: Camino Verde is conveniently located, a short walk from the town center while still maintaining a peaceful, natural setting. Guests can enjoy Costa Rican coffee and home-cooked breakfasts on the covered terrace, which has views of the valley and forest. The communal kitchen offers free coffee and tea all day.||Accommodations: The rooms are comfortable, clean, and provide a rustic feel. Road noise is minimal, and the B&B maintains a serene atmosphere. The private bathrooms are well-kept with plenty of hot water.||Overall experience: Camino Verde is a home base for Monteverde adventures. Traveled solo and felt completely safe and welcome. Diego at the front desk was a gem. He lit the fire every night and made the place feel like home. The popcorn machine? Always ready. Breakfast? Juices from every fruit on the planet. Clean, cozy rooms, and staff that treated me like family. It’s not just a hotel; it’s a warm hug in the clouds.

We enjoyed our stay at this small B&B. It's a short walk away from the downtown "triangle" area. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast is not fancy, but it was delicious and satisfying. There is a nice deck and sunroom area with a great view of the mountains. Guests can relax there and read or play games. Staff is friendly.

We stayed here just one night and wished we had more time here! The surroundings are gorgeous, and high enough that it cools down for very comfortable sleeping at night. Camino Verde is within east walking distance of cute shops and restaurants, but with plenty of rainforest experiences at your fingertips. Everyone we talked to was so friendly and helpful, breakfast on the patio was amazing, and we’d come back in a heartbeat!

Loved the superb accommodation. We had the apartment and it had the fun features of a high end record player and an arcade game. We had 2 plus a teen who was totally comfy on the convertible couch. Our room was complete with a fire place! Very close to so many restaurants. Breakfast was yummy and hearty with great views. Lots of guests to share travels with. Only reason I downgraded our location is that it is in the heart of things so vehicle noise was a thing. Maybe remember some ear plugs.

Great place to stay with a very nice atmosphere. Jeaustin and Diego are very helpfull in guiding you to choose your activities. Located 5min walk from the town centre and almost next to a nice restaurant to eat. There is a common kitchen if you would prefer to prepare your own food. |Highly recommended!
