By the numbers: Camp Adventure, Denmark - SilverKris

"Located in Gisselfeld Klosters forest about an hour from Copenhagen, this treetop attraction is dominated by a 45 m, hourglass-shaped observation tower whose top platform stretches around 100 m and whose uppermost viewing deck sits at 140 m above sea level (roughly 25 m above the treetops), offering panoramas that reach Copenhagen, southern Zealand and even Sweden. The site features Denmark’s most extensive zipline at 475 m and ten adventure courses—rope bridges, rock climbing and more—while the accessible route from reception to the viewing platform is a 1.55 km, step-free walk that follows a 900 m treetop boardwalk and a 650 m spiralling ramp; exploring the whole tower typically takes around two hours. Practical touches include dog-friendly access on a leash, and the overall experience emphasizes high, sweeping views combined with active, family-friendly outdoor challenges." - Mia Chenyze

Camp Adventure is such an amazing place — the walk is stunning and the whole experience feels magical. The pathways and tower are really accessible for everyone, making it super easy to enjoy the views and the nature around you. Highly recommend if you’re visiting Denmark! 🌲✨

I was positively surprised with this place. I thought it was just a parking lot and the tower, but this area can offer so much more and it looks like a big project, so I am looking forward to visit it again in the future. They have built a nice wooden trail that goes only in one direction so there is a good flow if it gets crowded. Wheelchairs and strollers can easily make it all the way to the top with precautions. They have a shop for souvenirs, a mini zoo, a good amount og climbing routes for different ages and level of difficulty, as well as a flower/vegetables are where you can pick up yourself. They offer glamping and there is a big food court with different options. We got a burger combo and the portion was quite big and delicious.

Great place to visit for the tower and also all the rope courses as well as the wild flower meadows. We stayed in the campervan spots which are very nice and peaceful. Only one toilet though and no waste disposal. Small but well equipped kitchen. Electric and water. Showers available at the main reception. Fire pits and wood supplied. One less star as the campervan pitches area is open to all. On our first night we had a group camping opposite. They really need a gate or similar otherwise you may also experience illegal campers. Ideally they would provide an out of hours telephone number to call. Also rubbish left at kitchen and outside by others not collected.

Perfect little escape-rustic-chic Camp Adventure in Denmark. Gorgeous views, zip-lines, luxury tents, a deer farm, coffee shop, and great eats. Ideal for a weekend or holiday reset.

Magnificent experience! Everything about it is awesome! The biggest tree climbing park I ever been. So many levels! The staff is super. Everyone spoke English. The security harness is of good quality and not old at all. The challenge in each level is super! I was positively surprised with everything. There is a food court with several options of food: pasta, burgers, fries, ice cream, coffee, beer…. We bought the tickets in an automated machine. No queues at all, but we also went on a Thursday, so I am not sure how it looks like on the weekend. The only negative aspect was the bathroom, smelled a lot. So it would be nice to have it cleaned more often. But to be honest, in comparison to other parks, the standards were still very high. All in all, 5 out of 5!

We really enjoyed our visit there and If you have a camper, you can stay there for one night and usw the facilities during the opening hours of the camp. But you need to buy the parking ticket for 24 hours.

I was here on a rather grey day when the trees were still bare. I guess that takes away much from this place. A better season and my experience might have been different. Even a bright sunny day would have changed the mood a bit. Everything as you can see in my pictures is largely monochrome and that takes away much from this nature walk. I wouldn't definitely recommend taking a trip in April on an overcast day. However, let my review not take everything away from this place. It's nicely done. The walk is nice and pleasant. It's been done keeping in mind that everyone can make it through. It's wheelchair friendly too! I was here alone and my motivation on this trip was purely the views, which in a clear day could get you to see as far away as 20 kms. With family, friends or colleagues, this could be a different experience altogether. There are other things to do here. The adventure park looked exciting for team building events or a family outdoor time. It's still a nice break away from the city and a chance to drive though Denmark!

Camp Adventure offers a distinctive experience that combines architectural marvels with the serenity of nature. Whether you're climbing through the treetops, ascending the Forest Tower, or relaxing in a luxurious yurt, it provides an unforgettable escape from the everyday. While the cost may be a consideration, the unique offerings and immersive experiences make it a worthwhile destination for those seeking adventure and tranquility alike.
