My first camping experience and I have nothing to complain. There are newer and older facilities, so you can choose and there’s never a line. The restaurant on location was great and the service always had a smile. The location is amazing, but the pictures speak for themselves. Oh and before I forget, you can rent a sup, kayak or canoe right on sight. A great experience!

Amazing campsite in a beautiful mountain lake setting. Unfortunately, not suitable for those seeking peace and relaxation. The campsite has no quiet zone. People arrive with small children who cry all night, and because of that none of the tents within 200 meters can get any sleep.

What a fantastic camp! We have pitched our tent in the forest area, overlooking the lake, stayed for 4 nights. Amazing views, facilities, location. Pros: - reception staff were friendly and helpful, charged our phones for free and securely - bathroom/toilet/dish washing facilities were plenty, clean and in working order, there's even washing machine and dryer (for extra charge) - it's wonderful location, right by the lake, with easy access to neighbouring towns as right by a bus stop, with loads of outdoor activities such as hiking and water sports - it's great to have a restaurant, bakery and an ice-cream shops on the premises as you didn't have to go far - fantastic other facilities such as roofed picnic area, children's playground, water sports rental - the price of the camp was a little high, but manageable and we were happy to pay it for the location Cons: - the choice of food in both bakery and restaurant was small and not to my liking. Every day we ate pizza, which was too much for me, but was the main menu item. I wished you offered some breakfast options, eggs, sausages, oatmeal - that type of food, and for main menu to include some local, hearty foods, rather than just pizza. Prices were way too high for small pizzas with few toppings, but the dough was tasty and good quality - the food options were the only reason for marking the camp down, as otherwise we had a fantastic time, and will for sure be returning in the future.

Highly recommend staying at this campsite but make sure you book in advance . We stayed for three nights in our camper van in a beautiful spot next to the lake. The campsite is very well maintained with well cleaned toilets and showers. There’s free drinking water available and free secure mobile phone/ device charging point. Food and drinks are delicious and reasonably priced. We hired a standing paddle board for €15 to play on the lake - the water was not too cold. The campsite has a very small bakery and shop and there’s a small supermarket only 5km away which we cycled too. The campsite has a good kids play area and don’t forget your table tennis bats and balls. As well as being next to the lake for water based sports the Campsite is also an excellent base for going on hikes and bike rides - we caught the cable car up to the Vogel ski resort and hiked up the Vogel which was spectacular- hike took around 4.5 hours with picnic lunch stop. Lastly the campsite has free yoga in the morning.

Staff excellent, boat / bike / SUP / canoe hire available on site. Camping is unallocated in a wooded area, bit roots but loads of shade and space. Little bit buggy. Excellent and well priced restaurant on site. Very dog friendly.

From a seasoned and middle aged camper that has visited this place many times in several decades. When the cost of camping was way beyond the prices of today. Yes, it is a beautiful place and quite a few things have improved over the years. But so has the price of camping. This year they introduced an extra price for pitches, which definitely went well over the bench mark of my understanding. Paying 50+ Euros/day for a pitch of gravel and, if you're lucky, a tree above your head for some partial shade is pure madness in my book. I do have better things to do in my life, thank you...

We stayed for two nights at Camp Bohinj and really enjoyed it! The location is stunning – right by the most beautiful part of the lake. The facilities are good, and the on-site restaurant was a real surprise: better service than most of the restaurants we visited during our holiday. That said, the tent area felt a bit unorganized and many spots are sloped, which can be uncomfortable. Luckily, we were able to switch to a platform for our second night, which made a big difference. Mornings and evenings by the lake were absolutely magical. Highly recommended – with a bit of luck choosing your tent spot!

Great camping spot. Cannot really beat the location. Less touristy than lake bled. The campsite is located next to a gorgeous lake, even prettier than bled in my opinion. The facilities at the campsite are fantastic. The only issue is the price. It doesn’t feel right to pay 43€ for two people in one tent per night:/
