Camp Long Creek

My family of four stayed in a 1 bedroom camp cabin. The cabin was very clean and comfortable, and spacious enough for all of us. The Big Cedar Resort and Camp Long Creek has something to do for everyone, of any age. I love the feel of summer family resort with activities and games provided on site. We participated in guided fishing, the Hoop-Dee-do and a glow in the dark scavenger hunt. Highly recommended!

The huts at Camp Long Creek have become our favorite annual family getaway! We love the perfect blend of glamping comfort while still being close to all the amazing Big Cedar amenities. Everything is always so clean and well-kept, and there’s never a shortage of things to do—with Top of the Rock just minutes away and access to all that Big Cedar has to offer. It’s the ideal mix of nature, relaxation, and adventure!

We just returned from our 10th stay at Camp Long Creek—a place that has meant a lot to us over the years, including getting engaged here. Unfortunately, this visit left us pretty disappointed.||For $750 a night, it’s shocking that daily housekeeping is no longer included. The overall condition of the property has noticeably declined. Our tub, for example, was broken and couldn’t hold water. Screens were damaged, surfaces were scratched—small things, but they add up when you’re paying that kind of rate.||We also had issues trying to book activities through the app, which wouldn’t process. I reached out to the concierge, who told us to just “show up” to the activity. So we drove over—only to find no one there, no signage, no explanation.||It’s sad to see a place that once felt truly 5-star slip so much. There used to be a clear sense that the experience matched the cost. Now, it feels like you’re paying premium prices without the premium experience.||I’m sure I’ll get a canned response, but I hope someone is actually paying attention—because Camp Long Creek used to be speci

We had a wonderful stay at Camp Long Creek! The grounds are absolutely beautiful and clean. We stayed in a one-room camp cabin that was spacious, very comfortable, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The screened-in porch was our favorite spot to enjoy a quiet morning, and the pool was a great place to unwind in the afternoon. We brought our two dogs, and they loved it as much as we did! The staff was warm, helpful, and always responsive, which made our experience even better. There were a few drawbacks that kept this from being a 5-star stay. The internet was extremely spotty—we were barely able to stay connected on our phones, and we couldn’t connect our iPad or laptop at all, which was a challenge since we both had some work to do. Also, the cabin could use a few functional updates: no full-length mirror, nowhere to unpack folded clothes, and no place to set a suitcase without it being in the way. Additionally, the dog park was out of waste bags and the trash bin was overflowing with dog waste. This was surprising, especially since the campground wasn’t busy during our stay in May. That said, we really enjoyed our time here and truly appreciated the peaceful setting and friendly service. Despite the minor inconveniences, we highly recommend Camp Long Creek and will definitely be back!

At first the huts seemed small but we got used to it. The one bedroom was spacious for a 6 pe rson visit.The service was very good and resposive. The location of each event was not walkable. Reasonable driving distance to town.

We had a great time at camp long creek!! We had the pizza in room the first night after getting back from a activity. It was thin crust and yummy! Second night had the filet. In house dining. Again it was delious! Loved the whole vibe!

Our stay in a two bedroom camp cabin was disappointing due to poor cleanliness. The floors are neglected between guests. We found two dead bees, dirt and debris on the floor upon arrival. The sofa was heavily stained and one king bed had a strange odor we feared was urine (in addition to uncomfortable foam pillows). The concept and design of Long Creek is amazing, but the cabins are showing age and need a deep clean. There was also a scratching noise within the walls one night that woke us up. Not worth $600 a night in this condition especially as a local and this being advertised as "luxury". We wanted to stay here several years ago because they are dog friendly. Our dog has since passed away and I went back and forth between booking Long Creek or a Big Cedar cabin or lodge room. I probably wouldn't pick Long Creek again unless I had a dog. I assume that is why the furnishings are having some issues.
