Camp Natoma is the place I belong. The first summer that I spent there I was 18 months old (yes, months) and my mom volunteered as "Nursie", the camp nurse. Since then I spent every summer until I was 23 swimming, hiking, carving soapstones, dressing up in Drama, weaving lanyard/key chains, singing "Little Red Caboose", and playing tricks on each other. Oh, my favorite is sleeping out on an old Army cot, under the stars, talking every night, until we fell asleep, after listening to the angels sing.
"If I wasn't a Camp Natoma Girl, if I wasn't at Camp Natoma. If I wasn't a Camp Natoma Girl..hhhmmmm.....There is nothing I would rather be..."
