Campail Teach an Aragail

We were really impressed with this campsite. €30 for one night tent pitch. reception staff were lovely and showed us directly to our pitch. The tent pitches are small fields dotted around the property which you can park next to, so on a busy day it wouldn’t feel overcrowded. Facilities were clean and nice. Bathrooms and showers were a bit old but nothing to dampen our experience. Two sinks in enclosed stalls for privacy which is a nice touch. There’s an 11pm curfew so it was nice and quiet after and since it’s deep in the countryside the area is generally quiet too - and gorgeous. There’s a small gym and coffee truck we didn’t use but looked lovely! and a kitchen and games room. Overall a very peaceful, family/couple orientated place that’s well worth the price. And only 10mins from Dingle!

Nice remote campground, one of 8 we visited on this 2 week trip. Lovely dark-skies location. Only problem was the showers: neither shower in the men’s side drained properly so left the user standing ankles deep in the shower water! Laundry was great, sites are not too close together, price is right. Good spot except for the men’s shower.

Such a beautiful location and community feel campsite. Owners can’t do enough, even dropped us off at the pub, then had a lovely walk back (about 30 mins). Great facilities, warm welcome and much needed relax along the WAW. Thank you ☺️

About 6 minute drive from the town so the location is good, despite the weather but hey it’s dingle what can you do. The young lad at reception was a good laugh and facilities were also good. Coming from Dublin I was amazed how visible the stars were from our tent 😂.

Stayed in our campervan (5.4m) with ehu. Cost euro 35 a night Facilities clean. Friendly staff Shower euro 1.00 (4mins) Only minor thing. You also have yo push button to get it to shower Lovely site. Free weight gym available (free to residents) Also can book & pay for sauna About 1-1.5km walk to a lovely beach

Great spot, a 10 minute drive from Dingle Town and a 5 minute drive from the beach. Camping spots are spacious and while the amenities are basic they are all you need including toilets, showers, washing machine and tumble dryers, 1 euro coins needed to use them all. Staff very helpful and the coffee shop was a winner.

June 2025: This campsite is set in an historic part of Eire so there are lots of interesting things to see around here including the Garalus Oratory only a couple of 100 metres away. The owner and the couple who do the day to day running of the site are extremely friendly and helpful. The campsite site pitches are well laid out and mostly flat and many are with individual water taps and of course EHU. The toilet block is of a rustic design but all amenities are clean. There are two kitchen areas with tables and seating for those in smaller campers or tents which is thoughtful. I would say that the shower cubicles could benefit from a curtain to keep the area by the door dry and perhaps a stool too. However, it’s a lovely site in an equally lovely part of the Dingle peninsula. I would certainly visit again when in this part of Eire. Eispéireas maith; go raibh maith agate - Hopefully that makes sense. Hwyl Fawr as we say in Cymru/Wales.

We stayed here recently and while there were a couple of positives, unfortunately the negatives outweighed them for us. On the plus side, the site is fairly cheap and the views are absolutely stunning — easily one of the best things about the location.||However, the facilities really let it down. The ladies’ shower and toilet area had no proper door, opening straight out into the laundry section, which felt quite uncomfortable and lacking in privacy and they were dirty. There was also only one sink, which meant a queue most of the time, even though the site wasn’t overly busy. ||It’s a shame because the site has so much potential thanks to its location, but unless the facilities are improved, I probably wouldn’t stay again.
