We stayed here on our way back to Dover from the South of France, and out of the several Campaniles we visited for a pitstop on our trip, this one sadly missed the mark. The room itself was clean and the bed comfortable, but the bathroom… well, let’s just say the toilet seemed to be harbouring a relic from every guest over the past two decades. It had a smell to match—definitely not what you want after a long day on the road and my young daughter refused to use it. The outdoor pool and children’s play area looked like they hadn’t seen a good clean in a while, which was a shame. Dinner at the restaurant was fine (the starter was delicious), but the service was painfully slow despite the place not being very busy (perhaps understaffed). It took almost 25 minutes just to get the bill. Front of house/reception staff were friendly and professional. I usually rate Campaniles for a quick stopover, but I’m afraid we will give this one a miss next time.

Really excellent hotel for the price. Well greeted by reception staff, very friendly and the room felt like a more expensive hotel. Spacious and clean! We enjoyed the make your own pancake station at breakfast. Good secure parking lot outside. We would stay again. Thanks

Great stop off on the way down to south of France or on the way back up to Calais. A nice hotel with a nice decor and look. Small games area for the kids. The rooms are a nice size with good views, the car park is secure and gated.

This was a very welcome break from the south of France to the uk. We arrived after a 12 hour drive to lovely staff and very comfy beds and all slept well. There were a group of children near reception playing with games, which whilst mine were ready for bed, was nice to see as there’s a great selection of games (perfect for 3-13 year olds, then a football table for older children). We woke for a good and very reasonably priced breakfast and I had a swim in the pool, which was surrounded by flowering plants and trees with a fence for safety. It was a very reasonably priced break from driving from the south. It would also make a good stop going to the Alps, if you wanted to break the journey up.

We've used this hotel off and on for nearly 40 years, First as Novotel, more recently as Golden Tulip and now as Campanile.|The rooms have been refitted quite well, although the "comfort" rooms are a long trek. Probably called that as they won't suffer from so many passing guests.|We used the restaurant in June, in the second week of the Campanile takeover, and were treated to a selection of "specials" as well as the standard (rather boring) menu. But this time (October) the specials had all disappeared. Perhaps they are seasonal, although I fear not.|The staff are all very friendly and helpful but, with the downturn in catering, we'll probably begin looking elsewhere.

Just a little stop over on our driving trip.|Room was comfortable and staff were very friendly. We had a dip in the pool which was basic but nice enough, a little awkward as people were having their dinner next to it. We ordered room service for dinner, honestly that’s my only complaint - the burger was not cooked very well at all and the cocktails were very watery.|Overall, an ideal location for a stop over.

Good quality accommodation. Helpful service. Large rooms with new and clean facilities. Comfortable beds. The hotel restaurant had a fairly basic menu but the food was good. Breakfast was also good. Perfect stop over hotel. Would stay again.

This hotel is a fantastic stopover. Easily located, masses of parking. |Rooms are large, clean and well fitted out, with good bathrooms. The breakfast is amazing - full English and Continental, as much as you want, great quality. Staff friendly and very helpful.|It should be noted that it is 5 km away from Troyes centre, and there is little choice of restaurants nearby.|Our only regret was that we arrived on a Sunday evening, and apparently there is no a la carte restaurant service on Sundays. There was a buffet, which looked tasty, but not suitable for kids. The restaurant has great reviews, so it was disappointing to miss it. |Thank you to all, very pleasant stay.
