Had a delightful tea and shortbread, while the Lovely Bride indulged in a scone with creme and jam with her afternoon latte. Across the hallway from the gallery shop in the Old Silk Mill, where C. R. Ashlee's Guild of Handicraft centered a century ago. There is still a silversmith at work here, as well as woodworkers, potters, and leather workers.
The coffee shop itself is a nicely appointed room with stone floors and walls, wooden tables and chairs in a cheerily mismatched style. Porcelains are random as well. Loads of sandwich options, as well as cold drinks.
