Guest Experience Feedback – Stay on June 27, 2025 (Small Sphere Rental) I checked in on June 27, 2025, and rented the small sphere for one night. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing from the start. Upon arrival, I noticed a strong musty smell inside the sphere. I reported this to the front desk, and they assured me the AC would resolve the issue. However, the odor persisted throughout my stay. As I prepared for bed, I discovered a large stain on the blanket. To avoid contact, I placed the blanket on the floor. Later that night, I attempted to take a shower only to find there was no hot water. I tried contacting the front desk, but it was already closed—there is no front desk support after 8:00 PM. I called multiple numbers, and after nearly an hour, I was finally able to reach someone who sent a technician to address the issue. Additionally, when I attempted to open a small window in the bubble, I found it was covered in mold (photo attached). This raised serious concerns about the cleanliness and sanitation of the spheres. At night, I could not take pictures of the stars due to the sphere's dirty ceiling as you can see from the picture. Given the condition of the accommodations and the lack of available assistance during the evening, I do not believe the space is properly maintained or managed. I would not recommend this location to others.

It was an amazing experience for my birthday. Located in a convenient area near many restaurants and had a private jacuzzi. We will definitely be back again!

Really gorgeous place, friendly staff and new experience. I enjoyed the experience and definitely would recommend to others to come and enjoy the place. The smell is fresh due to the limón trees that surround the place. Food is delicious specially the cheese table an good quality of wines.

Great feature the jacuzzi below the stars!!! It definitely worth the difference. Also, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Great for couples looking for a peaceful gateway. Good wine selection to choose from. We will definitely come back.

Our stay at Campera Bubbles was absolutely amazing! From the very beginning, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home. The food was delicious, and the amenities were spotless, reflecting the care and attention to detail they provide. The entire experience was unique and relaxing, surrounded by the beauty of Valle de Guadalupe.||Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable getaway!

Yelp
Cool experience if you are not afraid to glamp. My husband and I are outdoorsy campers, this is a step up from a tent. It's cool, but probably just for a day because it can get uncomfortable. You have to book through Airbnb. They send you detailed instructions. We booked bubble #9. We had 2 other couple with us and we wanted a new experience. The bubble gets hot in the day time, so they cover up the top. There's AC that works very well. We didn't use the heater at night. It got cold but they provide extra blanket. My husband loves sleeping in low 60s. The hot water works very well. Great shower pressure. I felt comfortable except when showering. The pressure was too strong and got everything wet, you have to use the hand held shower wand. The wetness was disturbing because there's no air and how does it dry? There's wood floors for the bathroom, not sure if there's mold under it. The vineyard is dusty so lots of dust. The bed was pretty comfortable. We had no issues. Shoes off before entering the main bedroom. Complimentary water, there's a mini fridge. Free breakfast in the morning but they open pretty late, we left by then. On site bar and restaurant. We didn't see the stars at night it got foggy at night unfortunately. I think you have to go in summer for clear skies. I would recommend if you like camping in general and a unique experience!

Yelp
Hey, don't be dissuaded by my review. If you're into camping or glamping, this is totally your jam. But I am not. Still 3 stars though because it was thoroughly okay. I survived one night and it exceeded my low expectations. Better than expected: -Hot water! Plenty of hot water. -Excellent shower pressure. -AC/heater worked well. You'll definitely need AC during the day when the sun is beating down on the bubble, and heat at night as it gets cold and there's negligible insulation. -Communication. We booked through AirBnB and they sent a lot of details and reminders leading up to the stay. -Wireless charging lamps on each nightstand. They also had color changing capabilities, but my lamp kept reverting back to blue no matter how hard I tried to keep them green. As expected: -Bugs. Spiders, gnats, and flies were all up in my biz. -Small space. -Bed was tolerably comfortable. Caved in the middle. -Dirty. It's in the middle of the vineyard. Everything in Valle is a bit dusty and dirty. -Limited amenities. No hair dryer, so if you plan to blow dry, bring your own. Some other things to note. -Free breakfast is included, but the kitchen didn't open on time, so we didn't get to partake. -No locks, so anyone can get into your bubble. We always felt safe though. Except our neighbor oddly/suspiciously was doing sit-ups in the dirt by the vineyard.

Yelp

Yelp
Something different, another way to sleep under the stars, private area with a private jacuzzi, so far the stay has been great

Yelp
We truly enjoyed our stay here. From the moment we arrived, they greeted us with some drinks. Everything was great inside our Bubble. I loved watching the stars from our bed at night and watching the birds fly over us in the morning while still in bed. Great customer service, especially Johnny and Toño and the chef who cooked a delicious themed Dia de Los Muertos dinner.

Yelp
Glamping in a bubble in Valle de Guadalupe with views of the vineyard right there sounded super cool and enticing. I'm glad we were able to try it, though I'm not sure it's something I would look to book as my preferred lodging option. Booking through Airbnb was super easy and they sent very straightforward instructions throughout so that we were prepared. There was a gate where we checked in and got a tag for our cars and then we were walked over to our burbujas (aka bubbles). Each of the 2-person occupancy bubbles had an entry tunnel with a rack for hanging coats, a mini fridge with chilled wine glasses and wine opener, and a Nespresso machine. After entering that entry tunnel, you zip yourself in and then you can open the main bubble which actually felt quite spacious with a queen sized bed, two nightstands, and a footstool. In the next tunnel was the bathroom which had the weirdest but I guess most practical configuration of sink, toilet, and then shower. The air and heater worked great to keep us comfortable whether during the day or at night. The bed may not be a five star bed, but it's more comfortable than camping on the ground. What was hardest was showering because it was right next to the toilet, the space was tight, and water got everywhere. But thankfully there was hot water! We were unlucky that our stay was a foggy night, so we had no visibility for stargazing in our bubbles, but waking up to the vineyard view was definitely a treat.

Yelp
My wife and I Love the place! We had a great experience at Campera's, the concept it's different- there is nothing similar at southern Cali, so we definitely going back & recommend this place. The customer service it's outstanding, the host Kenya she was very nice,& the 3 musketeers"Johnny,Bolo&tony take care us during the weekend, with the drinks & breakfast exquisite, very kind people and respectful overall the whole experience was amazing, stunning views, all around and the wineries & bars are like 20 minutes away ,very different room not the classic hotel room or resort that you have to get when you take the kids with you .quiet place to relax with your be loved we highly recommend it has a couple get away.

Yelp
I had an amazing, relaxing experience at this place. As soon as you approach the property, you are greeted by gated security, which gives you a sense of safety. We were then escorted to the breakfast, lunch and dinner area by the friendly staff I loved waking up to the sunrise, I will definitely be coming back.

Yelp
I love this place. It was surprise trip for my birthday gifted by my wonderful girlfriend. Very romantic, great food and amazing wine. We had a great time and it was truly an unforgettable experience. They are super friendly and accommodating because we had to reschedule the night we were going to stay. Its private so you do not have to worry about anyone peaking over at you. They cover it during the day for obvious reasons. Check out this place. you wont regret it.

Yelp
It was our first time coming here. We were super excited to have this experience. I booked a few weeks before and the booking process went well. I got a few reminders and emails with instructions of everything. On the actual day we got there on time and the guy who was waiting for us was super friendly and polite. He showed us our bubble and explained everything to us. The bubble is a little bit tricky we have to open one door but close it before we open the next door otherwise the bubble would go down. We reserve the deluxe the one that has a jacuzzi. To be honest if you are going might as well get the one with the jacuzzi so you can enjoy the whole experience. The bubble is a dream!! Feels o amazing!! It's just too hot or too cold! Hard to handle the AC. There's a lot of little mosquitos the next day I woke up full of red dots lol. But everything was amazing! The jacuzzi was my favorite part of everything. They have a little restaurant bar and we had breakfast the next morning! Everything was fresh and delicious! Orange juice was super fresh! And the food very very good chef! The check in is at 3 pm and check out is at 11am I'll definitely come back again!!! It's a little bit pricy but worth it!!! We paid over 300 dollars for one night but we will do it again. It just sucks that it doesn't include a bottle of wine but we brought our own bottle. Overall everything was great! And we I'll repeat it soon!!! Without a doubt!! The drive is pretty messy so don't bring a Camaro or a sport car! Bring a truck if possible because the road is something else.

Yelp
From the moment you drive it, it's such a vibe! So beautiful, peaceful and with beautiful scenery! My husband and I had a wonderful experience! Customer service is excellent and the drinks at the bar restaurant are awesome! Staff is on site 24hrs and security guards are on site 24hrs as well. Making us feel extra safe and able to enjoy our stay with ease. We loved our stay. We will definitely be back soon!

Yelp
I was sooo excited to try this as soon as I read about it in an article! I was interested in staying in a bubble hotel when I seen the concept at Joshua Tree here in California. Difference is in Joshua Tree it was around 500 a night! There was no way I was going to pay that much to stay in a bubble LOL. But then I found an article about Guadalupe also having bubble hotels and I was ecstatic! Way cheaper and more luxurious! The bathroom amenities are inside the bubble in it's own private bubble room and it's soo adorable. The whole bubble feels luxurious for just being a bubble! The aesthetic is such a "tulum vibe". The hot tub didn't get too hot (it was cold at night so I figured) but it was clean and worth the extra money. The view of the vineyard is beautiful and makes you feel like you have your own in your very own backyard. Everything was clean and well managed, the bed was comfy and there was enough blankets and pillows. Along with enough towels, and the shower area was easy to use. Hot and cold water available ( I like my showers blazing hot and it did the job). The staff was sooo friendly. Kind and attentive, and so helpful. Check in and check out was so fast and easy, no problems at all. This was perfect for a romantic little getaway and I definitely reccomend it to any couple. There aren't any activities to do at the location but when you drive out of the area, there are many places to visit like casa frida, iggys barbecue etc. I myself chose to do ziplining at cuatro cuatros (30 mins away) and it was such an experience. Really took the whole trip to the next level. Thanks so much!

Yelp
I'll start with the Receptionist and staff! Absolutely a friendly homely feel. They greeted my wife and I with an agave an orange Drink Drink. Yum! The receptionist was very knowledgeable of all the surroundings she gave us great info throughout our stay. She gave us A quick tutorial for our Bubble Room! We both loved our stay in the Bubble absolutely breathtaking look at the Night Sky!! If you the stars and our awesome universe this is super cool!! The room comes with a AC/ Heater it work decent. The lights are a bit cold but calls for Cuddling! Now, the restaurant has an amazing Chef and co Chef! Both team up and provide you a superb dish. Try the Risotto!! We were told by the Manager, the restaurant will be expanding so awesome!! Anyhoots try it. Awesome experience! By the way it was our 10th year anniversary and it was an amazing experience!! Definitely Glamping!! Try it. Valle de Guadalupe we loved you! Vamos a regresar de seguro!!!

Yelp
I was very excited and a little worried about our stay at campera hotel. Worried because I wasn't sure that we were gonna be able to find the hotel easily but the address was pretty straight forward and we got there with no problems, however the road to the hotel, is a dirt road. We were called on our way to campera to make sure we are gonna be there and they were expecting us upon arrival. A lady showed us around and gave us instructions about our bubble. Since we were staying for 2 nights, she explained that they are not gonna change the sheets however they will provide us with new towels which we were ok with. The bubble looked very clean and modern, but we saw a lot of patches throughout the bubble. There was a private sitting area for each bubble which made it so romantic. The only complaints I have is the fact that there was no hair dryer in the bubble so all the girls had to leave their bubble with wet hair. Also the bathroom mirror was not placed in a way that you could actually use it. Also at night it wasn't very easy to see the stars due to so many damages to the bubble's surface. Another issue I had with the whole experience was the fact that there was no reception or front desk for this hotel. There was only one guy who was guarding the entrance door and he did not speak English. Also there is no restaurant in the hotel so every time we wanted to eat a meal we had to leave the hotel and the dirt road was not a pleasant experience. There was a mini fridge but as we all know, there are not so many items in the fridge as well as the unrealistic prices that goes along with each item. My husband and I had an awesome experience and it was a very unique stay but since it wasn't the most comfortable one, we won't be coming back here.

Yelp
Super fun place to stay at! Bubble is super cool at night especially with their color changing bulbs! You have everything you need, a closet, fridge, shower and a restroom. The staff here is extremely welcoming and makes you feel safe. The site has security 24/7 and it's gated! If your not a guest you don't come in. The morning breakfast is delicious and free! Really excited to stay there once again.

Sara M.

Yelp
Ipsila the manager who works there knows nothing about customer service. Treats employees in a very rude way. And could careless about customers. Other than that the place is cute! Would def not recommend or go back. There's sooo many other cool spots.

Yelp
I had been worried about finding this place but it was actually pretty straightforward. The location is way down a really bumpy dirt road, past Finca Altozano. We were greeted and shown around our bubble and then left alone til checkout. The bubble is a good size, and the bathroom was surprisingly nice. The shower had amazing water pressure and heated up fast. The temperature of the bubble changed fast due to the direct sun or fast chill at night, so it was hard to keep it comfortable even with AC and the heater. I understand that couldn't really be improved. There was a hissing little air leak that constantly was in the background that drove my husband nuts, but I was ok with it. At night apparently the coyotes and dogs were loud, but I more noticed the crows in the morning which were suuuuper loud. I was hoping to see tons of stars through the top of the bubble but there weren't many that were really visible, though you could see the big dipper and the moon. The bed was rather firm, but overall comfy. We were surprised that they came in and cleaned up our bubble (weren't sure if they were going to do that or not). They actually folded our phone chargers and put them in a drawer, and hung up our clothes, etc. We were slightly surprised that they went through out belongings to hang, fold, organize etc. Mixed feelings about them going through my underwear uninvited, but whatever. They basically repacked our bags and moved everything around. Overall, not as peaceful as we had hoped with all the wildlife noises. The dirt road was rough on the car. They really do their best to make it comfy and succeed admirably. A unique experience worth trying out for a bit over $200 a night, but we decided we probably would just opt for a regular hotel next time now that we've had the experience.

Yelp
Such an amazing experience!! Definitely recommend it! Campera Hotel Burbuja took it to another level! I spent a day and night here celebrating my birthday and I'm glad I did. It's such a relaxing and beautiful place to drink wine, unwind, relax and be surrounded by vineyards. The suite is as modern and trendy as you can see in my photos! It's one big giant bubble pod with all the comfortable necessities for instance, a mini fridge, a keurig for your morning coffee, towels and toilet trees. The bed holy moly it's like a big fluffy cloud! It's so comfortable. The pod is very private, a great place for a romantic getaway. Night time is the best. You can see a million stars! This place is about half an hour from Ensenada, where you can also drive too and enjoy some delicious fish tacos and have some drinks!

Yelp
What an AMAZING and UNIQUE experience this was!!!! It's glamping at its finest! It is definitely a romantic experience if you're coming here with your other half. Hang out in your bubble during the day time with the bed curtains open and enjoy the view! Talk to each other and spend some quality time. At night, enjoy the ambiance of cool colors from the lamp, but after a while turn all the lamps off and enjoy the pitch black environment. Look up and enjoy looking and/or sleeping under the stars with your love one.! Also, so many beautiful restaurants and wineries around!!!!

Chey P.

Yelp
This place was AMAZING! Campera is an unique glamping experience! The host was super sweet & kind. She welcomed us and explained how the bubble operated. The bubble has ac/heater & hot water. In addition there is security that opens/closes the gate for all guests. It's beautiful at night as you can see the stars while laying down. There's no place to eat at the hotel but most eateries and wineries are about a 20 minute drive(make sure to bring a truck/bigger car if you have as most roads are bumpy and dirt to reach any destination). Overall recommend this place if you are looking for a relaxing glamping experience! *recommend going during summer so the trees are green!
google avatar

Paola L.

Yelp
This is a great place! If you are looking for one of kind experience this is a most, Campera hotel is an intimate glamping experience. The staff is great. We stayed in bubble 1 . The bubble has air conditioner and heat, very clean. Sleeping under stars is an amazing experience!!!

Marisela R.

Yelp
Yes do it, stay here! From the beginning of our trip to the end, it was an ABSOLUTE JOY! It is well worth the drive. I do recommend you take full advantage of the restaurant, the wine tasting, the history and ambiance. The sunrise and the sunset --wow!! The food was absolutely delicious!! The staff, omg, the staff was amazing!! So friendly and so accommodating!!
google avatar

Yelp
Manager is so hatd to deal with. The bubble it self is a good one day experience. Not good for long-term stay.
google avatar

Paulina E.

Yelp
Not a very clean facility. It was uncomfortable and the staff was way too uptight. You are literally monitored 24/7. You cannot hang out out doors after 9pm and pretty much feels like you are being grounded and told to go to your bubble. Not a fun experience.
google avatar

isaac S.

Yelp
What a fantastic place to be. Warning take a truck or high SUV you will need it not only for this place but for El Valle de Guadalupe over all. Britney was very nice and welcoming and we got to meet a lot of new people here we even had a beer with the people we encounter here. I also recommend to bring your in snack and drinks since the roads in general are dark and pretty bad. Once again the experience was incredible and I recommend it to everyone.

Yelp
ABSOLUTELY recommend this place for anyone wanting an EXPERIENCE of a lifetime while visiting Ensenada. It's close to wineries and about a 30min drive to downtown Ensenada. When you get to the location you get greeted by security, who checks to make sure you have a reservation, then opens the gate to let you into the property. Security is there 24/7. Once you park you check in with the property manager, she will take you to your bubble and give you a tour of all amenities and functionalities of the bubble. There's air conditioning, full functioning bathroom, and you really do have privacy (although it might not feel like it cause everything is open). The only negative is the address provided doesn't really take you to the location. It asks you to make a left on a non existing road. You have to drive a little further up (to kilometer 4) and make a left into the dirt road. Maybe it was my GPS, but this is a minor thing compared to the experience overall. I would definitely stay here again.

Yelp
I found this place through Instagram of course. The first time I stayed here was back in July 2018 we stayed in a bubble that had the bathroom inside (there are some bubbles that have the bathroom outside). We booked through Air BNB. During this stay we actually really enjoyed the experience. They cover the bubbles during the day usually because of the heat and uncover them around 4/5pm. After this visit we thought we wouldn't come back, not because we didn't like it but because we had already experienced it and it is kind of pricy about $250 a night. BUT then they came out with Bubble 11 which has its own Jacuzzi! So we decided to stay here again to celebrate Valentines Day Early! Upon check in, the women who assisted us, told us the only button we could push on the jacuzzi was the bubble button we were not instructed on how to heat the actual jacuzzi ? we got in the jacuzzi in the after noon and it was perfect then we went to dinner and decided to get in at night but unfortunately the jacuzzi was cold and we did not know how to heat it? Keep in mind the only person on the ground at night is the security so if you have questions you have to message them via Airbnb, in our stay in 2018 they had given us a number to text but not this time so I would make sure upon check in you get the 1. The number to text for questions 2. Instructions on how to heat the jacuzzi ( if you're staying in 11 that's the only one with jacuzzi) 3. Wine glasses if you need them they have a bottle opener in the room and 4. Instructions on how to turn the heater on ( we went on YouTube to figure this out). For bubble 11 we got two super comfy soft robes that we loved and towels for both the bathroom and jacuzz. They have an extra blanket and even blankets to take outside if you wAnt to sit in the seating area. The do not have a hair dryer so if you need one take one. They now offer wireless chargers to which was super nice! The bed and pillows were comfy and of course the view from the bubble is super cool! However since it is the winter time, the trees and vines had no leaves so there was not much privacy in bubble 11 people from the last bubble could see us when they were walking out, but the bad has curtains to pull for extra privacy. My only complaints this trips were not knowing how to heat the jacuzzi and the privacy since this is supposed to be the newest and best bubble BUT i would stay here again because the jacuzzi is badass and of course the bubble is also super cool

Yelp
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! From the security guard not taking the time to actually warn us of the exact puddle that was too deep to cross, especially since the tow truck driver said "why didnt he tell you? I was just here two hours ago to take out another car that got completely ruined as well since im located over an hour away!!!" , instead the security guard took his sweet time to call the furthest tow truck which arrived one hour after, and refused to provide us the phone number to the towing company to let them know how bad the situation was in hopes they would hurry up, instead he lit a cigarette and said he had already called. This caused an altercation, as anyone watching their car get completely ruined and see the lack of interest this individual had would make you very upset. The police were called and they attempted to smooth out the issue and made sure we would still be allowed to stay in the bubble we had paid for as we no longer had a working vehicle and it was too late into the night and we had no way of getting anywhere. We went to bed hungry as there was no available transportation anywhere near us to take us anywhere to get food. My wife cried all night regarding her car and the fact that she had planned the surprise to celebrate my birthday and it had been completely ruined. The next morning we arraigned for a friend to come tow the vehicle and as we waited outside for him to arrive we met the host. Nice lady but horrible customer service. I honestly thought she was going to offer a complimentary night so we could return and have a better experience as the night had been completely ruined. Instead she said "Im sorry it was such a bad experience, next time come in the summer when the roads are dry and the sky is more clear".. are you kidding me? Not the experience I was hoping to have at this place.
