Great site for kids. Lots of lake activities and right on the river. Great bar, fast food and restaurant. Very good facilities with spotless showers and toilets.

Second stay on this Fantastic Campground. Secluded pitches for tents or Caravans. Big playground right by the swimming lake and surrounded by the Beer Garden. We loved it.

It was beautiful. Swimming in the lake, admiring the many stars at night, enjoying the view - it was peaceful. The camping areas are all the way around the lake, including electricity and water taps close to every camping spot. And there's a nice, not too expensive, little restaurant and a shop with all important stuff, including rolls and croissants that you can buy there e.g. for your breakfast. They offer hikes through the forests and sometimes live shows in the evenings. You can bring your own grill and cooking gear or use the kitchen on the grounds. The toilets and showers were clean and so was the park in general. The only thing that was slightly annoying were some of the other campers. There's a group camping area and, of course, in summer during the holidays, there were quite a few groups with rather loud music and a lot of booze, BUT the park's authorities were always very nice and attentive and took care of that, especially during the rest periods. I'm totally happy with the weekend I spent there.

We had a nice stay. We were tenting in Auenland and it was quiet with trees, close to the facilities. Mini Markt had a good selection of all the necessities, good bakery (recommend ordering in advance to make sure you get what you want). We loved that you can rent a fire pit for having campfires or cooking. Wood was overpriced, recommend going into the nearest OBI and just buying twice as much for half the price. We visited during COVID and felt comfortable with the disinfecting stations, and the precautions in place indoors and in shared facilities.

Amazing camping area. There were plenty of activities here for all ages. Camp ground is huge and the check-in / check-out process is quick and simple. Highly recommend

One of the best sites I have ever stayed at. Staff were ALL excellent especially the old lady at the lake side bar. Can't express what a great family site this is. Please visit

Great place to go with kids. The lake is very nice and there are lots os activities to do. Tip. Wake up early to buy bread, there can be quite a queue.
