it was my second hostel experience but actually the first one within a dormitory room of 6.||i thought I'll have trouble sleeping or taking a good rest but all the girls in my room was very polite and careful. There was a guy crazy laughing loud at the corridor though. ||I'm really happy i made this choice of staying here in Avignon as it was in the center of everything and for 1 night of stay it was super practical.

We stopped on the via Rhona, so it's good in that sense. It's a bit soulless cos there are so many people, but it's great if you wanna walk into the city centre it's fine. There's also a grocery shop with cold drinks which is always a plus. Lots of noise from cars in the morning. Apprx 28€ for 2 people on bikes.

The campsite is ideally situated within a few minutes’ walking distance from central Avignon. It is well-maintained, offering large, functional pitches and clean sanitary facilities with reliable hot showers. Additional amenities such as a small supermarket, laundry services, and a bar are also available and of excellent quality. I would highly recommend this campsite to travelers seeking a comfortable and convenient stay while visiting Avignon.

Overall it was a lovely stay, with a very friendly staff. My only comment regards the metal storage boxes underneath the beds. They were increadibly noicy, whenever someone would pull them out and they would often make a squeaky sound when opened, I think this could perhaps be solved by having boxes made of another material. The one metal bedroller at far left end of the room was also almost impossible to get out from under the bed due to the placement of the beds. All in all lovely stay, the bedrollers is the only place I see room for improvement.

The staff at this hostel were lovely! The hostel had everything you need and was in a perfect location. The only issue I had was the mosquitos in my room! I was probably just unlucky, but I would recommended bringing repellent with you especially if you’re staying in the 10-bed female dorm. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone coming to Avignon, there is also free breakfast provided. Yum!

great location, awful spots for tents. quite dirty floor, we tented on a parking spot, very old bathroom spots, few sockets for electricity. you’re very close to the city which is nice, but this is quite expensive. there’s a shop on site with reasonable prices which is nice.

Lower your expectations What can be said that hasn’t already been said in the 1 and 3 star reviews? Read on and lower your expectations before entering. As a stopover to visit Avignon, the site is well positioned, sitting just across the river from the ramparts. The old plane trees on the grounds provide excellent shade during hotter weather, which is one of the few highlights. The staff are friendly which is always a good welcome. The drinking water points, however, are few and far between—you're better off filling up in the sanitair (bathroom facilities). Speaking of which, the sanitair shows heavy wear and tear. The owners proudly embrace an "old-style" motto, which seems to be a convenient excuse for not investing a single euro in updates, despite the steady flow of tourist money. Yes, the facilities are cleaned—but it still feels and looks grungy, maybe that's because they simply face an impossible task: trying to clean around broken tiles, gaping grout lines, and outdated, poorly fitted fixtures. The owner claims the sanitair is "well maintained"—which might be true, if by "maintained" they mean "kept functional through constant patchwork." It's a real shame. With such a prime location, this campsite could be outstanding. Instead, it feels like a cash grab with zero reinvestment or respect for paying guests. There's another campsite just up the road—I suggest you go there instead. We will not be coming back.

The camping is very quiet even if is very close to the center, in a beautiful position. The places are big enough, with grass and trees to protect from the sun. Toilets very clean and the staff is very very nice: I forgot my ID card and they sent back to me. Super!! Thanks a lot, I will come back for sure!
