Unhygienic bathrooms - desperately need updating!! No toilet seats, no soap or driers for handwashing. Covid would have a field day here!! Showers had small cubicles for clothes but nowhere to hang clothes. Hot water though which was welcome. Reception for checking in painfully, painfully slow. Almost gave up! Such a pity because in such a prime spot for beautiful Avignon.

We booked 3 nights using ACSI and the Lady on reception said we could have a 4th for free if we wanted it, so we stayed for 4. EHU and tap on the pitch was convenient. The facilities are dated but kept very clean with plenty of hot water. Also has a washing up area and a laundry. 10 minute walk into Avignon, which is a lovely town.

it was my second hostel experience but actually the first one within a dormitory room of 6.||i thought I'll have trouble sleeping or taking a good rest but all the girls in my room was very polite and careful. There was a guy crazy laughing loud at the corridor though. ||I'm really happy i made this choice of staying here in Avignon as it was in the center of everything and for 1 night of stay it was super practical.

The usual pitches under trees, though in fairness the pitches were fairly large. We unfortunately turned up just two days after a big storm and we were unlucky to have a pitch that was pretty muddy but this was spread around the camp and could not be held against the camp. The amenities are a little dated but usable in their time would have been excellent. The camps main plus is how close to the Old city it is .The Old town is well worth a visit but be aware we took our ebikes as the walk from the camp and over the bridge to the old city centre is in our estimation would be a good 20mins and not the 10mins that had been suggested by others before us, speed walking might get you to the city wall in 10min.
All in all not a bad stop over especially at €21 including leccy and hot showers. ( At the time of our stay in Sept 25 ).

We stopped on the via Rhona, so it's good in that sense. It's a bit soulless cos there are so many people, but it's great if you wanna walk into the city centre it's fine. There's also a grocery shop with cold drinks which is always a plus. Lots of noise from cars in the morning. Apprx 28€ for 2 people on bikes.

great location, awful spots for tents. quite dirty floor, we tented on a parking spot, very old bathroom spots, few sockets for electricity.
you’re very close to the city which is nice, but this is quite expensive. there’s a shop on site with reasonable prices which is nice.

The campsite is ideally situated within a few minutes’ walking distance from central Avignon. It is well-maintained, offering large, functional pitches and clean sanitary facilities with reliable hot showers. Additional amenities such as a small supermarket, laundry services, and a bar are also available and of excellent quality. I would highly recommend this campsite to travelers seeking a comfortable and convenient stay while visiting Avignon.

Overall it was a lovely stay, with a very friendly staff. My only comment regards the metal storage boxes underneath the beds. They were increadibly noicy, whenever someone would pull them out and they would often make a squeaky sound when opened, I think this could perhaps be solved by having boxes made of another material. The one metal bedroller at far left end of the room was also almost impossible to get out from under the bed due to the placement of the beds. All in all lovely stay, the bedrollers is the only place I see room for improvement.
