Camping Bled

Liked: We had 3 wonderful nights here with our dog and didn’t drive out, just enjoyed all the area had to offer on foot. It is a five star camp site. Bakery stands that appeared in the mornings, beautiful bread and pastries, and the Zaka restaurant staff were amazing, food very good each time we went, big portions too! The beach area was great,a clean grass area where we were able to launch our paddleboard. Great walks around the lake and hikes to view points high over the lake and camp. This is a big site but it’s kept so clean, the shower block near our pitch was so well cared for, day and night staff were checking and cleaning. Showers so hot at anytime of day. There were many dog bins and included bags! Recycling was all considered. We have not been to a site quite so well organised and where buildings are sympathetic to their surroundings. Staying so close to the lake was a joy.

We enjoyed this 2 night glamping experience , despite the weather being rainy for half of our time here. The cabin and the private bathroom are extremely clean, well equipped and of high standard. The hot tub is much bigger than I expected and very relaxing. The beds were very comfortable, we slept very well and the breakfast box was fantastic - so much food and all very delicious

Liked: Loved this campsite. Great facilities, the lake is right on the doorstep. Our children loved the playground and trampoline park. Staff so helpful, showers were clean and toilets too. Large pitch for our motorhome. Beautiful stay, would recommend and stay again! Lots of things for children - ours loved the magic show! Laundry facilities are fab! It was lovely to receive some vouchers for our children for local attractions. Disliked: There was a slight damp smell in the showers.

Liked: Location right next to lake. Has a bar,restaurant and supermarket. Easy access to lake for water activities. Easy access to hikes. Good size pitch with plenty of tree coverage. Disliked: Noisy trains but knew that when booked. Staff kept facilities clean but the campers did not! Problems with vehicle reg recognition at gate.

On arrival we had to queue despite having pre booked, the pitches are in need of attention long grass, trees overhanging etc. There are 3 shower blocks but long queues to get a shower as there was only 2 showers. The restaurant is very expensive but the supermarket was reasonable. Bled cake is worth trying (from the supermarket). The camp is away from the main town of bled so get supplies on the way, nice walk/cycle around the lake and boats on the lake. We cut our stay to 2 nights.

Liked: Clean and well organized. Lovely cafe and restaurant out front. Fabulous location. Laundry was easy. We were next to the playground which was busy. Would be a perfect location for families.

Liked: Really organised and well run campsite overlooking Lake Bled. They were full when we arrived but the facilities were plentiful and clean throughout. Very friendly staff on the campsite, the cafe, restaurant and shop. The food was a little pricey, but good quality. Disliked: Our pitch for x3 nights was next to the site main track, and was a little small as we have a side awning, it was a a bit busy with passing people and traffic.

Nice, clean camping in a beautiful location. Few cons though: - the cleanliness comes at the cost of noise - the staff runs the maintenance tasks (like leaf blowing, picking up bed linen for laundry) from the early morning - forget sleeping in a tent unless you're located in some remote pitch - public, guarded beaches are far from the camping. The beach near the camping is neither guarded nor safe. It features underwater structures, pipes, ropes that can easily harm you. Yet, most of the camping guests use that wild beach.
