Camping Bled

Absolutely beautiful campsite. We booked a premium pitch which was very spacious and tranquil. We had our own outdoor sink. The standard pitches all looked to be a good size. The amenities blocks were clean and modern. The bread truck in the mornings was a great touch. There is a cafe bar and a restaurant onsite. All the staff were very polite and friendly and welcoming. There is also a mini market onsite which is well stocked although could get busy at times. The location is idyllic, right by the lake.

Great, definitely a family/ longer stay camping. Nice, clean facilities. Nice pitches with often shade. Very friendly and helpful staff ready with information. As hikers with a small tent our pitch with clay was a bit unfortunate with the rain, we would have liked it if there was a covered communal picknick area to sit during rain/ diner. Can definitely recommend. Book early in advance.

Liked: Nothing Disliked: We booked the accommodation on Pitchup. 80sqm. We paid a deposit of 70 euros and received a partial invoice stating that another 438 euros had to be paid at the accommodation. The campsite did not credit this, we paid the entire reservation again, a total of 588 euros. Upon arrival, we showed our reservation but did not receive the area we paid for, they put us in a much smaller comfort area. So they charged a higher fee for a lower category. Even though I showed the reservation, the owner just laughed and said we could put it where we wanted but not where we paid for. He did not even try to help, and there were plenty of free spaces in the campsite during the week. So in summary, they charged more for a smaller category and even charged 70 euros for that. I do not recommend booking here to anyone because there is chaos in the owner's mind or he is simply anti-Hungarian! So the invoice you received when booking and the invoice you received when paying are two completely different amounts. They are not helpful at all. If anyone does book here, bring a power converter because they charge three times the price here. They recommended an area where it is rocky and there is no power, my partner asked the owner if he would sleep there? He just laughed at that too. T. Why did we pay almost 600 euros on Pitchup.com when it wasn't on the invoice??

It's a campsite, so rooms are your tent/caravan or campervan. Bathroom blocks vary, we were near block 4 which was very modern. Straight onto the lake from the campsite, shop on site (obviously more expensive than going elsewhere) and a bar and restaurant so plenty of options. There is a train that passes overhead that is quite noisy but only occasionally.

Beautiful campsite just a short walk away from Lake Bled. The site is really calm and peaceful, with a great little shop, a restaurant with excellent pizza and easy access to the little beach on the lake. The staff were all really polite and helpful. This was the first night we'd ever tried staying in a campervan, and couldn't recommend it more!

Great campsite with excellent staff, good size pitches and an ideal location on the Lake. We chose a premium pitch which allowed us to be in a quieter part of a big site. Daily bread service was very welcome as was the onsite supermarket. This is a very popular area but the site was calm and peaceful during our stay. Highly recommended.

Fantastic Campsite right on Lake Bled, Just a quick walk across the road to the lake, the pitches are pretty spacious - we had pitch number 5 - it was good size, near reception and quick walk to wash facilities - only downside was the children’s playground which can be noisy but its a great facilities for the kids and its to be expected! There is a very cool trampoline park (which you pay for separately) which the kids loved. Onsite supermarket is pretty good. A great daily Bread/bakery cart too - delicious bread, rolls, croissants and other baked goods. Laundry facilities available and good. Rental bikes are available via an app onsite - which is a pain to set up but actually very good value. About 40 minute walk to Bled town but a lovely cycle too.

Clean camping located next to the lake. Sanitary was most of time clean. There could be some more organisation in the ten area. Some guests are taking a lot of place leaving just a little spot for others. More delimitation of the pitches could be a plus. I’m not sure the restaurant is operated by the camping but the restaurant is not good for price/quality. Very expensive medium pizza, virgin mojito is very very bad. Camping staff super friendly. During our time there was bakery service on several spots.
