Camping Bled

We stayed 3 nights at camp bled in our camper, facilities are excellent and there is an amazing kids play area. A couple of restaurants and cafes down by the lake, and a 35min walk into bled town. There is a small train you can catch though for €13 for 2 people. The lake side is incredible, so picturesque and amazing for swimming or sup.

Absolutely first class site, totally professional staff, great clean facilities. Ok quite expensive, but you get what you pay for. The location is amazing, directly on the lake with a cycle path up to Bled itself. There is a great restaurant and bar just at the entrance and bread shop every morning. Worth paying for a premium pitch, they are on a higher level with bigger pitches full services and and a sink on your pitch. One of the best places we’ve stayed.

Campsite is ok, we had a decent size pitch, but had a tree in the middle, so not overly practical. Facilities ok, bar nice and reasonable price, thought restaurant was expensive. Lots of outdoor walks or cycling, but for us the clincher was the location and stunning views. Yes it is full of tourists, but where isn’t these days. Would go back.

Liked: The site is large but it is a well oiled machine with excellent staff. The toilet blocks were kept very clean. The site is close to a small ‘beach’ on Lake Bled, and there is an excellent restaurant serving both traditional and contemporary food. There is a very good shop adjacent to the restaurant that has everything you might need. Clothes washing machines on site are operated by credit card and are efficient. The pop up cinema showing F1 was a bonus. Disliked: We felt that the spaces were a little cramped, but not unlike many campsites. Trees and bushes could be cut back a little.

Liked: Lovely campsite with level pitches right on the shore of Lake Bled. The facilities were very clean. Lovely restaurant on site with good food. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Lovely walk or bike ride off road around the lake (around 30 min walk). Disliked: Nothing

Beautiful campsite just a short walk away from Lake Bled. The site is really calm and peaceful, with a great little shop, a restaurant with excellent pizza and easy access to the little beach on the lake. The staff were all really polite and helpful. This was the first night we'd ever tried staying in a campervan, and couldn't recommend it more!

Great campsite with excellent staff, good size pitches and an ideal location on the Lake. We chose a premium pitch which allowed us to be in a quieter part of a big site. Daily bread service was very welcome as was the onsite supermarket. This is a very popular area but the site was calm and peaceful during our stay. Highly recommended.

Fabulous campsite, right on the shores of the lake. Facilities were great, especially the mobile croissant & bread kiosk, and even a dog wash on site! There was also an excellent restaurant, nearby boat hire and swimming in the lake.
