Very nice camping! The owners are very nice, the camping is good. We had a very nice time. The toilets could have been a little bit better but for the rest we had a very nice stay with two children (7 & 9 yo). A good family camping with a nice swimming pool, good food in the restaurant and a really good atmosphere for family's. We will come back for sure. Its such an amazing region with so much to do! In ten days we barely scratched the surface.||Merci et au revoir!

Wonderful campsite in a stunning location. Close enough to Lac Chambon for an easy walk. Surrounded by the lovely mountains of the Auvergne. There is so much to do in the area. Only stayed 1 week, but would have easily found things to do for a 2 week stay. It is a peaceful campsite, well run by the owners. At no time did we feel crowded and our pitch was huge. All facilities were kept nice and clean. Definitely a campsite to return to!

Stunning little hideaway. The most beautiful, well equipped site. All the usual, water, electric, showers, washing area etc, but there's music piped into the facilities which is a lovely touch while you're washing up or having shower etc. Each bay has plenty of room to spread out & there's beautiful trees everywhere. We ate in the restaurant on 1 occasion, the food wasnt brilliant but the service with a smile more than made up for it. Very happy, friendly staff, that lived the fact we were trying hard to converse in French. The children's facilities are fabulous & the pool looks superclean although we didn't use it. Be aware though men do have to wear tight trunks, absolutely no swimming shorts! & if you havent got any you can buy them on site. There's a small bbq & seating area if you don't have your own bbq. There's a large garden chess board & connect 4 along with a playground area. Our first night was truly magical then we were blessed with a very loud French family with 2 teenage girls as neighbours. They proceeded to get very drunk & stay up till 11.30 the first night then after 12 the second night, and they were so loud we were sure there would be complaints. It's lovely that they were on holiday & having fun but you really should be respectful of other people when camping in a place like this. That said it didn't spoil our stay & we would without question come back again, absolutely loved it.

If you like the outdoor life and can make your own entertainment without need of towns and big tourist attractions this campsite is a dream.||Chantal and Bruno are the perfect hosts making you one of a big, very happy family as soon as you arrive. ||It is perfectly situated for all levels of walking and biking. A huge variety of walks can be made directly from the site itself. The campsite itself is well equipped with ( just to mention a few) a beautiful, warm pool, adult fitness area, children's play area , barbeque area, indoor lounge with computer/TV and books as well as a delicious, simple restuarant run by Bruno (Not open every evening out of season). A bakery is a few minutes walk from the site selling a wide range of freshly baked produce.A decent sized Spar is10 mins drive away. ||The plots are flat and decently sized and have electricity. ||In June it was still cold during the evenings and mornings - fleece weather- and there was still snow close by so take plenty of variety of clothes. And remember a plug for the sinks if you like a decent wash. ( Can be bought in Spar if needed)||The only slight negative was that the hot water was tepid rather than hot but even this did nothing to dampen our experience

Fantastic location and wonderful and quiet as sites go. Only spoilt by the guests who decided to pitch up next door and get drunk most nights and we're unable to communicate at a normal audible level. This should in no way detract from what is a superb site. Facilities always clean, tidy and very well presented. There is a pool where men have to wear trunks (just if smugglers) as shirts not allowed. Play areas for children of all ages. Quiet area and library. Table tennis, table football outdoor chess and mini golf. Full bar and restuarant. Full at area for smaller children too. Even with all the above if you want a tranquil escape away from children this can be found easily on this site. It's the adults that might be the problem like any other location. We would return again without a doubt if coming to this area of France again. We have had 4 very relaxing days here.

I'm sorry to say that we had a less then warm welcome here. We drove 30 metres past the reception to have a quick peek at the camping before returning to the reception (we were about to ask to stay as it looked great) but were greeted by a rude and angry gentlemen who was the owner. He reduced my French girlfriend to tears and threw us out for not stopping at the reception first, even after we apologised. I returned to try and smooth things over but got a face full of attitude even when being very calm and apologising endlessly. ||Obviously this isn't the type of place we wanted to stay at. A shame as it looked nice, but the attitude matters for us.||We found a lovely little place up on the hills looking over the lake for the same price and with a very welcoming host. It's just 5 minutes further west and up a side road. Well signed if you want it.

Very nice camping with plenty of facilities like swimming pool, free wifi, restaurant, playground, etc.||Walking distance (15 minutes) from the lake. No supermarket, but daily fresh bread can be ordered. Supermarket available in Murol, at 15 minutes drive from camping.

Brilliant. Beautiful campsite. The owners couldn't do enough for you. We were going to stay one night but stayed 5. Everywhere clean and great swimming pool. We will be back.
