Camping Bunculuka

The location and beach are fantastic but everything is a bit expensive. We wanted to reserve a specific plot and were asked for €100 to do so - no thanks! Also sun umbrellas at the beach are €25 per day which is a bit much.

The campsite is beautiful, clean. The same goes for the beach. However, the restaurant is disappointing. We've been coming here for years and this year the service is seriously the worst (they don't go to the tables and make mistakes- forget, bring others, load extra) but worse, it's very dirty. There's bird sh.t everywhere (which lives inside the buildings) -even on the tables and the staff only wipes it up on request and even then, you don't actually want it. The sh.t on the floor has been there since the beginning of our stay, and overall no one seems to clean the floor here. The swallows have always been here and for the past years everything has been clean.Even the dishes are dirty. Stuff is smoking in the backstage of kitchen/storge and you can feel it all over the restaurant.

Fantastic resort style camping, with gorgeous tent only areas close to the water. A very good option for two with one small tent. Wifi doesn’t reach the whole campground, but the mini mart is well stocked and restaurant is reasonable and nice. Close to rock climbing and endless beach exploring!

The most precious value of the camping that it's naturist. The people coming here are so relaxed, and have such a good vibe that I've never experienced anywhere else. Normally I don't spend too much time at the same venue, but we decided to stay 11 days instead the original 4. We talked to the staff and they also confirmed that the people/customers here are so much more kind and relaxed than anywhere else they worked before. I hope this will never be changed. I have visited this camping a few years back when it was not under the Valamar flag, and I have to say that the improvements made, are great. The staff is very friendly, receptionists, cleaners or waiters at the beach bar, we had very good experiences! The restaurant offers very good meals, for a fair price.

Third time we visited this campsite. Still believe this is the best camping experience so far. Still feel as good as it did the first time 5 years ago. Calm down place and incredible friendly people, both the professionals and the guests. We noticed that the beach was more crowded than the first times we visited. But honestly this is a incredible place to bade and it would be strange if not more people would understand this. Always totally clear water! The service places are well taken care of and cleaned many times a day. Great place to take kids. I'm looking forward to going back in a few years again and hope to see that nothing changed to much.

I come to the camp every year since I'm a baby, since 1995. My grand-father discovered this camp in the year 1985. I love the camp and the sea with it's beautiful beach. I'm saddened by the growth of the new camping homes that are very little houses that are on the sea-front and took the best spots. We used to tent camp where they are, it was very nice to open the tent in the morning and to have the view on the sea. The bathrooms and showers are very clean and also the ones in the restaurant close to the beach. Food is good at the restaurant and the shop is perfect to refresh yourself.

I decided to share my opinion over Bunculuka Camping By Valamar mainly to warn all those who consider travelling there by any chance... I can call myself regular customer. I've been visiting this place since 2020. So this year was 4th time. With my partner we rented 1 pitch for 1 tent. As always. In almost the same place. What we discovered this year is constant change for worse the service of Camping. Through 8 days we've been treated unkindly for 4 (!) times. Service. First contact at the reception desk. As usually we didn't book a place but 3 times previously we drove by car to a place where we saw a nice pitch, came back to reception and finalise transaction. Not this time. Receptionist guy, named Darko, said "camping is full", "you have to go a find a place by foot" and "wish you good luck". No assistance, no customer centric attitude towards finding best place. When we walked through the camping we saw lots of free spaces so definately the guy didn't walk the path as his routine. Instead he chose to mislead the customers... Second time at the restaurant. It was our 1st dinner after 18 hours of travelling. The waiter said we can't seat where we wanted because everything is booked. That was ok. We sat indoor. After few minutes another waitress came to us and said "our" place is free and we can change the table. We did. Then the waiter came to us and started shouting what we are doing, what's wrong with us, all in German (we are not Germans by the way..). We said we were asked to do so by the waitress but he didn't react and continued to shout. Then, after all he apologised us. Nice beginning of holidays... Third time was paper found behind car wipers. Few words: meet at reception desk, by 14.00. We went there. What happened? At the check-in receptionist, named Daria, said there is a new policy saying I need to pay deposit for stay. I asked how much? She said: how much you want. Then I paid for 2 nights. When I aksed what about rest of stay when I want to prolong my stay? She said: you will pay all at check-out. Coming back to paper behind the wipers: another receptionist said it's not truth and we have to pay everything now. So we paid. Again, it wasn't nice treatment by camping service because WE ASKED how and when to pay after 2 days of our stay. Fourth time was a the check-out. We checked-out 1 day earlier. Of course we didn't get money back because "it was not due to health reasons". Well ok. It's your property and your policy. But nobody asked us why we are going earlier, or is everything ok. We got here at your Camping in 2020 because in Krk you had not much competition. Now it is. A lot to choose, so in fact you should treat Customers well enough to make them come back. Whould YOU after this experience? And one last thing. Total amount of our stay is 506, 24 euro. Is it small or not - to be considered by you, the reader. But in my opinion, whatever amount you pay, you should be treated as a Customer.

Our stay was wonderful! Beautiful campsite, clean and very well equiped! The beach is just amazing. But we were disappointed that we had to pay for deck chairs on the beach. We were somewhat disappointed about the dog beach as people were on the beach and complained frequently about the dogs!!!! unfortunately the service at the bar could have been better. The service was somewhat unfriendly and a little forgetful. But overall it was a great stay.
