Camping Chania

It's really great. Everything you need is there, the cottages on the property are very well equipped, with a refrigerator, air conditioning, and even a laundry room if needed. There's also a shop on the campsite and even a local travel agency if you want to book a trip to additional attractions. The campsite also provides towels. The location is very well connected to the center of Chania. There are many beautiful beaches nearby. I highly recommend this place.

We stayed at Camping Chania for two nights and absolutely loved it – again! I was here three years ago and it’s amazing to see how the place keeps getting better. The staff are just the kindest – super friendly, always smiling, and ready to help with anything. The location is perfect for a relaxed beach holiday, and the newly renovated bathrooms are beautiful – clean, modern, and really comfortable. It’s a lovely spot with a great atmosphere. Can’t wait to come back again!

We had an amazing experience at Camping Chania. The facilities were excellent and very accessible. Clean spaces and friendly staff.If you are either a family/couple or solo traveller is safe and inviting. The location is super convenient, too.

I definitely recommend it! Great little cottages equipped with refrigerators and air conditioning, regularly cleaned and towels changed. The resort has a campsite, shop, bar, restaurant, pool, and everything is close by. Bathrooms and showers are cleaned daily. You can order a taxi and book tickets for local tours there. It's a great place as a base for trips to other parts of the island. There's a bus stop nearby, restaurants, and several beaches nearby. I really enjoyed my stay here and would love to return someday.

Camping Chania never disappoints! I only stayed for two nights this time, but it felt like coming home to sunshine, souvlaki, and good vibes. 🌊🏕️The pool is still a lifesaver, especially after a whole day in the sun. ☀️ Staff? Friendly as ever – like Greek family. Can’t wait to come back for more olive trees and chilled beers! 🍻

The days at the camping were perfect, we were in a bungalow without bathroom, so we used the shared toilets. They were a bit old, but always clean. We spent time at the swimming pool, we played billard and took part at the karaoke night (Thursday). On Saturday they organise other events. The prices at the pool bar are still incredibly cheap. There is a restaurant and you can also have a continental breakfast (8€, really basic) or order things from the menu. We could leave our bags at the reception the last day and you can also book tours through them (they are in contact with a local tour operator). Really close to the camping site you can find some supermarkets, restaurants and really beautiful beaches.

This is my 3rd year in this camping and every time I spend 1 month here. As always it was amazing, the pool and the poolbar are just the perfect place to chill. Toilets and showers are cleaned a few times a day and so always clean. The camp is very close to 3 beaches, and in between platanisas and the old town. It's the perfect place to be. The staff is always here if you need help ! Thank you for this summer!

We had originally booked 6 nights and ended up leaving after the first night, because of how dirty, crowded and unkept the campsite is. The staff is very friendly, but besides that everything else is horrible and gross and looks nothing like the photos. The entire campsite seems very old, kinda dirty and unkept. The tents are covered in dirt and sand and are ridiculously close to each other, we could literally hear our neighbours whispering. It’s just too overly crowded for the space there is. The cooking area, the bathrooms and showers also seem to be very old and look rusty and dirty. We don’t recommend staying here, because of how crowded, dirty and unkept it is and we definitely won’t come back ever again!
