We are half way through a 13 days stay at this campsite and it's perfect. The pitch is spacious enough to have a big tent including an extension and the car plus some space in front for a table and chairs. The rental of a fridge has been very useful. It was brought to us on arrival. Be careful though as the electric hook up is just normal french plugs and not the standard caravan plugins. There are a mixture of shaded and sunny pitches. We are lucky to have both at different times of the day. The shower block is clean and always open. No closed for cleaning for an hour whilst we are left crossing our legs. The bar at reception is perfect and offer croissants, pain aux chocolat and baguettes every morning. Also a nice rose and red wine at a very reasonable price. Canoes can be arranged right on tbe site. And overnight a different type of local delicacy is available as take away. All the staff are friendly and will do everything they can to make your stay pleasant. We are definitely comming back here again and with our dog too as it is very dig friendly.

On a moto camping trip. Nice welcome and very helpful reception and bar staff. Lovely location on the river. Good choice of campsite.

The Kayak renting option is a plus, and the area around the camping is amazing. BUT the camping's hygiene conditions are insufficient: Toilets and showers are often dirty. In addition the water supply and water temperature is not reliable. No or cold water when your are half way cleaning the dishes or no water just after shampooing your body in the shower is really not nice. There's several other reviews here complaining about the the water infrastructure for over one year now, but it seems the camping management just did not care. The water in the pools does not look clean, so we even avoided going in the pool. In addition, measures against Covid did not seem important to the camping's management. You find empty disinfection gel distributors that are always empty. For all of this, the prize of the camping is way too expensive. And there's enough better options in the area, so we recommend to avoid this camping.

We left last Monday after three very pleasant days in La Couderc. We are a couple from N Ireland travelling through France. The pool was fabulous and would really suit families as well as people like myself who like a good long exercise swim. It's about 18 - 19 metres. Toilets and showers were dead on, as we day n N Ireland. That is complementary.|| Emilie at reception was always so pleasant and helpful. Just order your bread or croissants and they are there for you in the morning. We had a brilliant day taking a canoe down river and were then collected by Couderc patrons at very reasonable rates. It was really good fun/ mildly demanding on your arms etc..and you don't have to,have any major experience. Site rates were great value although we were not there in high season. It's a bit outside the village but only 5 mins drive. If you walk it will, take around 20 - 30 mins and a few parts of the road are a bit narrow. However I managed it fine even with two hips done!! Don't count on a taxi if you are having a wee dram with your meal in St Enimie. ||Finally thank you to Emilie for speaking good English and really helping me to develop my French. Good wi Fi in reception area.||Tony & Frances.

We have recently stayed 7 nights in this lovely site. We were made very welcome, the pitches were flat and the facilities clean. Swimming pool and river and 5 minute cycle into St Enimie. A perfect place to explore the Cévennes and the Tarn valley and canoeing available on the site. Great week

Good welcome, friendly and helpful staff. We stayed (2 adults, 1 child and a baby) in the coco suite during the first week of July. The place was ideally placed in front of the river and clean. Sanitary was clean and so was the swimming pool.

Absolute horrible host. She had her judgement ready before she heard anything. Wanted to charge is 100e for a bit of spilled coffee that wasn't cleaned up. And a cracked chair what was very weak already. But no restitution for 3 days of cold water! Really bitter person. As you can read in her reaction below here she's only interested in her own version of the truth sadly. I've been a guest in a lot of places and have never been treated like this or had a host no willing to talk but just to judge.

It's a lovely campsite to spend your holidays, there's a heated swimming pool, a trampoline, a play park for kids and they even have canoes that you can take out for the day on courses that vary from 9 to 19 kilometres long on the very nice river that the campsite is right next to which is called the Tarn.
