really in nature: part of a large wood, with free roaming horses. Facilitiues are basic, but places are very spacious - though not always level! Nice and helpful staff. Walkign distance to the national park with a decent restaurant. Excellent walking

Despite the old toilets and poor maintenance I value more the environment and experience you will find around here. It’s priceless. The quietness and nature you will find are stunning plus sometimes you can be visited with some horses The staff are very friendly

It is a cosy campsite at the edge of an entrance of the Peneda-Gerês National Park. It has enough campsites that you do not need to reserve in advance. It is a quiet site with very friendly staff, delicious coffee and brand new toilet and shower facilities (which are clean). Pictures are from the entrance of the park (200 meters from the campsite)

Simply wonderful, we really enjoyed our stay! Relaxed and spaceous, with decent facilities and helpful staff. We hope to be able to come back. Some specifics: - not parcelated - hot water showers & decent bathroom facilities (with some room for improvement) - friendly and helpful staff - a van comes every morning (except Sundays) and brings fresh baked goods - the bar is open until 23 - make sure to bring warm clothes, as it can get quite chilly in the evening

The location of this campsite is ideal with lots of beautiful nature and hiking trails. At the reception, there are lots of activity to choose from for which you can sign up. (for example rafting and canoeing) A huge minus for this campsite are the showers, which are mostly cold or without water, and the toilets don’t have toilet seats. The sanitary building is very old and needs replacement.

Quiet and simple. You really feel close to nature here. Some added basic services like tree spores and rental bikes are avaliable. Has showers had bathroom with free hot whater. Nice tracks around the camping for hiking and btt

Absolutely gorgeous camping, it was really quiet and it felt like you were in a forest. There's a stream running down the camping which is beautiful and refreshing. Only downside: it's far away from everything. We got there with public transportation (Porto to Moncao by bus) and a taxi, but it was difficult to find our way. The nearest supermarket is 20 kilometers away, we rented mountainbikes from the campsite, and while downhill was very fun, uphill was way too hard, we ended up hopping in the back of someone's pick up truck.

The camping site is beautiful. Cannot understand the terrible state of the bathrooms, the public toilets in Porto Ribeiro and Castro Laboreiro are in much better condition
