We stayed here for two nights at the end of August. The site is ok, quite large with mostly seasonal / permanent caravans. The onsite shop was closed due to the end of season (even though it was 30th August! The onsite restaurant & bar is nice, right on the lake side. The free local public transport was very handy. My main issue with the site was very loud music, both nights, until the early hours of the morning from what sounded like a concert or event very nearby. This was both Saturday and Sunday nights - I had to use earplugs to get any sleep, not what I'm looking for in a campsite.

The location is OK, and the transport to the city with the free Lausanne card is great. The colleagues working there are really cool and chilled out. However, I had a really bad experience and will try to make it short. Unfortunately, there are no restrictions on people partying in the tent area. Some teenagers were drinking all night, and the last night a group of girls arrived in a caravan, pretending that they had lived there for years and that they could do whatever they wanted. They had a birthday drinking and smoking party. Even at around 1:00 a.m., the security guard told them to be quiet, but they didn't listen. At 5:00 a.m., I woke up because of the karaoke and drunk atmosphere, which made me so angry that I had to shut them up. Even the neighbours were annoyed about them when I talked to them the next day. Please, Campsite, if you want to keep the place peaceful, implement some regulations regarding such behaviour.

This place was very ok. Near bus station, train station and walking places. The only negativ with the place is the pple with the machine, cutting grass they don't care if the guest are sitting outside or not. One of them came near our carpet 🙄 thats not nice. In the morning when cleaning the latrines, he just splushes water all over without taking care of the guest who are in there. Thats one thing to work on it. Otherwise the resepsjonist were very friendly👌

We stopped here with our campervan for two nights, stopped 6! Site, staff and location so good. Free local transport which was great. Cafe on site which is lakeside. Plenty to see and do. Def recommend. Olympic stuff all round. Guided trip up to Glacier 3000 snow experience, fantastic day.

I camped here in June 2025 on a solo motorbike trip on the way back from Italy. Nice level pitches for tents, restaurant serving simple meals and shop on-site. Not cheap at €20+ Euros for a single tent and motorbike but it was nice to have access to the lake for a swim if you want and a shop for food, even though that was a bit pricey too. Friendly multi lingual/ english speaking staff on gate was a relief to a tired biker with no language skills 😅.

Stayed here 7 years ago and didn’t have the best experience (mainly to do with people on the campsite not the campsite itself) however stayed here again for the cyclotour and really happy to have given it another go. The showers are really hot, whilst the facilities are old they are always clean with soap and toilet roll. Pitches are a good size. Location so close to the lake is great and it’s only a short cycle to the start of the cyclotour :)

Great camping right next to the lake and a short bus / metro ride from the city center

This campsite seriously needs new toilet and shower facilities. The bottom shower block has missing tiles, wobbly toilets and toilets unlike anything I have ever seen. There is hand soap next to sinks that have no water and no hand dryer anywhere. There appears to be the remnants of an old hairdryer but it's useless and could be dangerous. I did visit the top shower block, it has a working hand dryer and a hairdryer but again very old facilities. It is extremely difficult to find fresh water on the site and the only place to empty the cassette toilet is at the euro relais behind the site. This is a very long walk from most touring vans. Most of the touring pitches are very small and not very well maintained and we constantly needed to clean our footwear of mud. The charges levied are extremely high given the poor facilities and in my opinion this site is substandard. Given the location it's a real pity.
