Camping du Puy-en-Velay - Terracamps

Basic camping for a very good price. Location is great and you can get to the center in a short walk. Friendly staff and excellent pizza just outside the camping!

Great city camping! Within a few steps you are in Le Puy en Velay. Great for hikers (we stayed four days to walk some trails in the area) but also to visit Le Puy for one day. Showers and toilets are okay. The pitches are not very big, but alright for a city camping! The owners are friendly and gave much helpful tourist information. Definitely recommend to stay here if you are visiting the city.

Apparently it's a huge problem that a solo pilgrim by bike -in need of small place to set up his tent for one night - comes after the reception is closed. So it's impossible to accommodate him. 'Look for a hotel.' Thanks.

Great location next to the volcano cone and only a short walk from town. Clean but simple toilet, shower and washing up block. Very good welcome. Nice grassy plots. Quiet for a city site (except for helicopter ambulance landing at the hospital next door!) Would thoroughly recommend and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

The camping could have been 5 stars to us (taken into account that the rate is cheap so you also don’t get much). But the showers were so hot it was almost impossible to have a decent shower without feeling like you are burning in hell. -1 star. Still had an okay stay though. Nice location close to the city. Cute ducks.

Just below the amazing church on the rock, and a 10 minute walk to the town centre. Very good value for money. No seats on the toilets, but that's just French.

Open plan campsite , large enough places , location in great for walking into the unesco heritage town . The washrooms are basic but clean and useable, reception lady was friendly and helpful thanks

Lovely level campsite under trees. Ideally situated for the medieval town and major attractions - the chapel and statue on the volcanic plugs. The facilities are basic but clean, and the service point is convenient.
