A super little site. The owners were polite and helpful, particularly the lady.
Credit cards or cash are accepted.
The pitches are flat, with some shade, although there is only limited privacy between pitches.
I paid €156 for 7 nights (motorhome, 1 person with elec), commencing 29/6.
Internet / mobile coverage (Orange) is poor to non-existent, both on the site and in the town.
The site is very close (3-5 min) to a good supermarket, with easy access by bike or on foot.
Access into the mediæval quarter of Le Puy is very easy on foot (10 mins), while the town centre proper is a little further, but no less easy. There is significant provision in and around the town for travelling by bicycle.
The area around the cathedral and cloisters has a lot of very photogenic, vernacular architecture and is well worth a visit. There are also 2 puys (ancient volcanic cores) which may be climbed on foot to provide stunning views over the town.
The commercial centre of the town is thriving, with dozens (if not hundreds) of interesting and quirky shops and eateries.
In short, the site afforded a convenient and (considering its central location), surprisingly peaceful base from which to visit a beautiful and fascinating town.
