We had a great stay at Camping Geysir. Beautiful location a 5 minute walk to the hot springs and Geysir area with a path through the woods.
Camping amenities were plentiful. There is a washer and dryer for 300 ISK each, which is much less expensive than our campsite in Reykjavik.
Bathrooms were clean and plentiful. Showers cost extra and we didn’t use them, but looks like a nice sized hot water tank.
If you have kids, there is a playground with a zip line, side, swings and plenty of space to run.
The campsite is grass with lots of electric hook ups. It wasn’t too busy during our visit. Not all sites were level, but it wasn’t overly difficult to get it sorted.
Covered kitchen wash station, dumping station for Motorhomes and fresh water fill up. It had everything we needed!
