Camping Huttopia Vallée du Lot

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We stayed at Huttopia Vallée du Lot from 17–30 August, and it was a truly enjoyable camping experience. The location is beautiful — surrounded by nature, peaceful, and perfect for a relaxing holiday. The facilities were excellent and well-maintained, offering everything needed for a comfortable stay while still keeping that authentic camping atmosphere. The pitches and accommodations are thoughtfully laid out, and the site feels welcoming and family-friendly. We had a wonderful time here, and it was the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the outdoors. I would definitely recommend Huttopia Vallée du Lot to anyone looking for a great camping holiday in France.

A great place to stop in a motorhome for my wife and myself for a few days. Everything you could want is available. It is a quiet and shaded spot but a great base for exploration of the area.

Les Ormes / Parenthese / Vallee du Lot... New owners (Huttopia) have clearly invested in updating the infrastructure, but the wet spring was not kind (works not completed, ground not recovered). Staff are lovely, helpful and efficient. Still an even split of Dutch/ French/ Brits and the vibe around the campsite has not changed in 14 years. ||At the farmhouse, the independently run restaurant has gone. It and the courtyard are now the hub with reception, pizzas, bar and snacks. Lovely atmosphere. 👍🏻||Pool area has been re-decked; the cool snack truck has gone😭, as have the S-bend sun loungers replaced by more space efficient deck chairs.||Lake Pizza Bar is present but not operational (apparently viability is being assessed for future years).||You can now set up a credit tab at reception and let the kids pile on the ice-lollies/ drinks. Hooray!(?) 🤔||I expect that the works will be completed, it all tidied up and settled down again before the '25 season. Rock on Huttopia; great start, credit to your team. Please don't plant any inter-pitch hedges: that would be the death of this place. 😉

We visited this site for the first time and found it a very quiet and relaxing break. We stayed in one of the safari tents which was extremely well equipped and beds/bedding were clean and comfortable. The site itself has a lovely pool which we visited each day and there is a lot to do in the surrounding area. The staff were friendly and helpful and there is a beach bar serving simple fresh pizzas and charcuterie where you can order bread and croissants for the morning. Apparently in the past there were more dining options which have had to be closed hence some folk who had visited before were a little disappointed, however as first timers we found it very pleasant pretty good value for money.

Peaceful location at this time of year (mid June). excellent sanitary facilities

This is our second holiday at La Parenthese and we were wondering if it would live up to our first excellent experience...and I'm pleased to say it did not disappoint! What we love about La Parenthese is the overall vibe, friendliness of Geraldine and staff, attention to detail (painted wooden furniture in the tents, wild flowers waiting for you) and activities for all the family to enjoy. The kids loved exploring the site of their bikes, making new friends, playing in the pool and of course the nights by the lake are always a winner. Make sure you book these events in advance as very popular. The restaurant was lush as ever and the facilities are regularly cleaned so no complaints. We can't wait to return again! We stayed 9 nights and loved it! Thank you for having us!
