Camping Internacional Almafra

Liked: Location next to tram stop. Excellent for cycling. Altea, Albir and Benidorm all within easy reach. Large sunny pitches. Excellent bar and restaurant with very good prices. Lovely outdoor pool and surrounding area. Disliked: Should be cheaper to use indoor pool and gym as 5 euros a time is expensive.

We visited this campsite for the first time and enjoyed our stay. This campsite is massive, so you can imagine it gets busy. We stayed overnight, and it cost us €39, for which you get a lot. We had everything you need: showers, toilets, washrooms, water, electricity hookup, a swimming pool, a tennis court, evening entertainment for kids, a gym, a shop, a bar, and a restaurant. This campsite literally has everything. In the evening, it's quiet. It's quite far from Benidorm city center, which isn't bad if you don't want to spend the night clubbing and want to enjoy peace and quiet. This campsite is rooftop tent friendly. We would come back again to this one. #travelwithtentbox

Liked: We enjoyed our 5 night stay. The pitch was clean and very spacious. The toilet and shower facilities were clean. The evening entertainment was really good. The pool area was very good but very busy. It felt like a very secure campsite to let you children ran about. My son made lots of friends. Disliked: Our pitch was directly beside a static home of an approx. 80 year old women who complained ALL THE time when my son kicked his ball which would have been okay IF the great football pitch would have been OPEN. It was closed during our whole stay despite staff saying it will open tomorrow (every day).

Fantastic, large pitches, good shop, lovely staff, good entertainment, nice food (cheap as well), great pool although got quite busy so if you want a sunbed you need to be at the pool at 10am when it opens. Great entertainment. 20 mins bus ride to Benidorm and the beaches which are lovely. Lovely towns nearby. Good markets. My family joined us and stayed in a 'lucky bungalow' which slept 4. This was also great and had everything you could want. Would definitely return.

Site is overcrowded. Queuing to reserve sunbeds at 10am. Pool shut several times during stay due to someone pooing in it. Kids charging around on electric scooters and disability machines. Lines put up between trees. Children in the indoor pool causing problems. Phone lines not answered. Email messages not responded to…I could go on!

Liked: Lovely clean site. Very friendly staff. Great facilities. Lovely bar and restaurant. Disliked: Could not take my dog inside the bar/restaurant. We had to sit outside.

Liked: Specious clean pitches, clean showers & restrooms. Good food & beers in the restaurant for reasonable prices. Benidorm & supermarkets within cycling and walking distance. Disliked: Entertainment in the restaurant is sometimes unnecessary loud.
