I have never experienced cleaner bathrooms: wow We stayed at the bulli places next to the water. Enjoyed that very much. Close to Bamberg, we went on bicycle. A flat ride on our Amsterdam bikes. Great place to stay and discover Bamberg. The campground serves Bamberg biers in their own beer garden ♥️

Location is excellent for cycling to Bamberg. However, the site is overcrowded. Washrooms and toilets are modern and clean. However, one would ask whether the screaming art work on the shower 🚿 block wall is inappropriately placed?

Fantastic campsite. Really friendly staff that know what’s going on so make busy check ins smooth. Great beer garden next to the river, good food. Best sanitaires ever, except showers upstairs so some need to consider. Bread order available, best pretzels. Pitches small. Bus into town. Do contact to reserve, email, Google translate if needed. Just lovely ⭐ 🌟🌟🌟🌟

We stayed for 1 night with motorhome. Was here in 2019 also, and the camping is just the same. Nice people who work there, and its a " all you need camping". Good resturant. Under 20 minutes to the city center with bikes. If you come late its not always a space for you, have to order for minimum 2 nights.

Friendly and helpful, 15 euros and no extras, riverside site for small tents, perfect for a cycle tourer

We were at this campsite in the first week of september. It's a nice campsite with good bathroom facilities but it was very overcrowded. The huge number of motorhomes gave the campsite the appearance of a packed parking lot. For tents there is a separate field on which you also park your car. Cars and tents are criss cross on top of each other. There should be a limit to the number of guests they accept.

What a lovely campsite. Superb bathroom facilities and excellent restaurant. Great location by the river and bus stop right outside. Highly recommend for visiting Bamberg.

Quiet, peaceful and spacious site. Staff were friendly and helpful. Was very easy to book - an email to the site was all that was required. Payment is cash or maestro - no credit cards accepted. Pitches are a decent size despite the massive scale of the site. Facilities were spotless and fully functional. 16amp electric with normal polarity. On site restaurant serves a variety of German/campsite food and to a good standard, with prompt service. Some takeaway options also (pizza, which was good). The local ‘rauchbier’ is remarkably good, and served at the campsite bar. Approximately 50 minute walk to town, or a 15 minute bike ride. Bamberg is a pretty town with plenty of historic stuff to see, enough for maybe 2 days (or one very full day). It works well as a stop over if you’re bashing through continental Europe from the ferry terminal at Rotterdam.
