The campsite is in a perfect location a short walk to the centre and it's a lovely walk through woodlands. The campsite is clean, it is very cramped you're all quite close to each other for the campervan pitches but there's the camping pitches that you can also fit a van on which are better you have some personal space on them and also have electricity. The toilet facilities let the place down when I stayed some of the toilets where closed for renovations (nothing was being done whilst we were here) so that left only 2 male cubicles 2 female cubicles and 2 disabled toilets that were mixed, quite often you would go to use the loo and they're fully occupied especially when the campsite is full there's no where near enough toilets. The showers are clean and are a good temperature. If you're a light sleeper buy yourself some ear plugs before coming as there's a steel factory just behind the campsite that is rather loud and runs all through the night. Overall I'm not sure I would visit again based purely on the noise and the toilets but the location is perfect for a couple nights to visit the centre and surrounding history.

Great for it's convenience to the menen gate memorial a short walk I've been staying at the camp over the last ten or so years. When traveling through Belgium for short breaks cheap and cheerful a good place to stay... toilet's and showers are adequate.. price is good for camping never used the pitches for motorhomes..

Well located for a walk into the town.|The booking system online can be a little confusing, as there is an aire for motorhomes a little way away, and this does not seem obvious unless the details are very carefully studied. There is a reception office also.|The site is good, with a camp site facility with each pitch having electricity, water supply and waste water drain., and a more restricted area for motohome parking with electricity.|Sanitary facilities are excellent.

This camping has now been taken over by urban gardens who have turned it into a static caravan park and the usual transit van campers stopover and very few tent pitches now and if you want electric you have to upgrade to the "touristic pitches" which are the same price as it is for a transit van or touring caravan.. they also 8 months after my stay sent me emails saying I hadn't paid for my stay, luckily I still had my bank statements and emails that proved I had paid. It's not as good as it was and has been spoiled by the statics and is very expensive now.

Really great site just 10 minute pleasant walk from the site, through the wood- proper pathway- over the bridge and you are in the town. The site is immaculate as are the toilets and showers. We had a pitch for €26 with electricity and water/waste on the pitch. You can pay €20 to be on the paved area, but quite close to each other. Fine for 1 or 2 nights though. Very peaceful. Thank you

Great site and 10 minutes walk into the town. In a motorhome on the paved area and it was good value. Stayed there 5 years ago and it's now been taken over by Urban Gardens. The area we camped in previously has been taken over with cabins. There appears to be very little tent space now.

We planned to stay here for one night as a stopover on our trip to Germany, Switzerland and Austria. However, our campervan had other ideas! A fault with our gearbox saw us having to stay 6 nights in one of their huts whilst the van awaited repair in the garage.|We were made to feel very welcome and comfortable. The site itself is clean with nice toilets and showers. The hut was comfortable and warm and provided a great base. The location of the campsite is excellent, just a short walk into the centre of Ypres. My only tip is beware of the Belgian beer! A massive thank you to Caroline for all her help and assistance, nothing was too much trouble.
