Camping Koutsounari

We very much enjoyed our stay with Litsa Christaki and her family. They all made us feel welcome and we were very comfortable during the week we stayed at their campsite. Lots of shade and good wind protection are in place and whatever you might need in terms of infrastructure it's all there. It is one of the very few campsites in Crete that can easily accomodate motorhomes up to 7.50m. Litsa helepd us with information on the eastern parts of Crete and when we finally got stranded because of the ferry strike, she made inquieries on our behalf. And last but not least the cucumbers from the garden were a treat. Thanks a lot and take care!

We ended up staying multiple extra days. So nice that the pool was still open at mid October (most of the times we had a private pool)! Friendly lady at the reception, lots of pitches to choose from.

We went for a day and stay 3. Very friendly people and very nice campsite with everything you need: hot shower, toilette, access direst to the beach, barbecue, kitchen, fridge, washing machine....very good price and open in low season

Prime locale, great service, beautiful, tranquil, rejuvenating. Rooms left something to be desired but the accommodating service and family resort vibe more than made up for it

A very well organised camping in a great location. The sea there is one of the best I've ever seen. Also, the people working there were very kind and helpful.

Probably the best camping spot I have seen on the island. Looks oldschool but has taken care every little detail with so much love and tenderness that is more then enough. Kind stuff and super facilities. Totally recommended just check for the weather because if it’s windy it might get wild.

This a lovely campsite with excellent pitches for everything from tents to mobile homes. We have a campervan and were able to pick a nice pitch protected from the wind with a bamboo roof overhead.||When we arrived the restaurant had just closed for the winter but there were two family christenings taking place and we were able to buy some of the food cooked for that. If it is anything to go by the restaurant would have been excellent. Lita and Nikos run a tight ship, and both are unfailingly helpful. The two restaurants in the village nearby are also excellent. Possibly the best organised camping site in the island! Beautifully organised, top cleanliness, great owners and a beautiful large beach on its southern end. Even offers a restaurant with a pool for the visitors!
