Camping Kovacine

Camping Kovačine is for my taste as good as it gets in Croatia. It is a camping spot that has good spots for tents, camping caravans, camper vans and also people that prefer bungalows. It is practically on the beach and it is kids and pets friendly. Camping personnel are polite and ready to help. Last year we forgot keys from the car top carrier and they managed to find us an empty bungalow for a couple of days until we found a way to send keys back to us. Camping spots usually have lots of shade from pine trees. Pine trees also smell good but be aware of pine sap. It is really sticky and hard to clean so having a cover for your car is strongly recommended.

We were there for a few days. Campsite is well situated and even better maintained. Reception staff were quite friendly, cleaning ladies lovely and did their job well, toilets and showers were clean all the time, the cafe at the corner was first place in croatia where they actualy knew how to make coffee. Even with loads of work, they were nice :) The beaches and facilities were really lovely. They even had a shower for dogs!!! :) Thank you all!

Easy check-in, we came without a reservation and just looked around for a spot, we got one close to facilities and to the beach! We stayed longer than planned, the gravel on the beach makes things a bit easier and bathing shoes are not necessary. There is a 20 min walk to Cres and it’s a beautiful little town with coazy restaurants and small walk ways in the old parts.

Probably the best beach I’ve ever been in Croatia. The camp is huuge. Pitches are spacious and with good shades. There are also a lot of additional activities (swimming pool, beach volleyball, animation for kids). location is also really good within walking distance from Cres town. The Camping is well maintained, clean and overall well organized, except the sanitary facillities(in the violet area, which on the map looks like it is the biggest one, there isn’t a sanitary facility. I have never been to a camp where I had to walk that far to the toilets).

The best thing is aqua aerobic with that animator who is really cool (if you see this have a nice day🥰) . He should get a bonus for doing such a good work. Overall the camping is very pretty, the beach is awesome. Pool is a bit boring but when there is aqua aerobic it's so fun. Only disadvantage is that sea and the pool are too far away from eachother but I still give five stars.

The campsite offers a lot, featuring spacious spots with ample shade throughout the day. The prices are fair, and our son particularly loved the tourist train ride. However, it's disappointing that some visitors don't respect the quiet hours, driving around even as late as 3 AM.

There's something for everyone, whether you're seeking adventure or relaxation. The only minor drawback was the speed at which some staff members drove around the compound. While safety is always a priority, a bit more caution in this regard would be appreciated to ensure the utmost safety for all guests, especially families with young children. Overall, Camping Kovacine exceeded our expectations in every way. We highly recommend this campground to anyone looking for a memorable and rejuvenating escape in nature. We can't wait to return! It's unfortunate that traffic rules appear to be completely ignored here. Cyclists ride haphazardly without lights, causing collisions. The campsite management doesn't seem concerned. Given the lack of enforcement, I can only rate this place 1 star.
