Third time staying at camping Memling. Great location in a lovely, relaxed neighbourhood. Easy check in. 25 minute walk to the outside of the city centre (windmills). Pretty much in a straight line. Great facilities. Very clean and showers very warm and powerful. Supermarkets (Lidl and Delhaize) around a 5 minute walk away. Only thing we noticed is that some pitches were pretty much just mud with very little grass, which we can appreciate is just how it is with how good/popular the site is. Lucky for us it was dry but might be an issue if wet! We did notice grass seed that had been placed down so it is evident the site is trying to rectify this. Will definitely stay again as it’s the best site in Bruges!

Excellent site for visiting Bruges. Recommend you book as whilst we were there it was full. Smooth check-in process. You are sent details of your pitch number the evening before and number plate recognition allows the barrier to lift as you approach. Pitches are on grass. Spacious with electric. Showers are spotless with plenty of warm water. There is also a washing machine and dryer. If you don't fancy walking or cycling into Bruge centre, there is a regular bus service from the bottom of the street.

Spent two nights here with our kids. It's a brilliant site with a wonderful wood next door with cycle paths, an obstacle course (for older kids) and easy access to a super public swimming pool. The campsite itself is clean, easy to access, well maintained pitches and very friendly. Close to supermarkets and a business ride or short cycle into the city centre it's perfect for a city campsite. And quiet! Highly recommend

Good campsite. To get to the City Center there one can either use the fequent bus service or walk (~30 mins, brisk walk). There were more than enough toilets and showers, even in the busy morning/ evening hours there where now queues. Also verry clean. Only "problem" that i had, was that when looking for availability of spots online it showed me the place as completly booked out. But i still easily got a place when showing up in person.

Excellent facilities in great location for visiting Bruges. Facilities excellent and very clean. Pitches are on the smaller side but fine for us in a 6.4 van. We had one of the camper van pitches. However, if you get offered pitch 76 please be aware that there is a gate in the corner which leads to the wooded area behind. It’s used as a thoroughfare for dog walkers who seem to think its fine to walk across your very small pitch. I spoke to reception who informed me it shouldn’t be open but chose to do nothing about it. We locked the padlock ourselves. On the last day we realised it was the gardener who was opening it and not re locking it. We would return, but not to pitch 76.

We have had a wonderful stay here. Beautifully clean site. Very friendly atmosphere but everyone sticks to the quiet after 10.30pm rule. Perfect location for cycling / public transport into Bruges or further afield. Would recommend

We visited with our bikes and tent. The campsite is beautiful, with hedges separating the pitches, a shaded seating area, and additional seating by the main building. There is a common room with a coffee machine, soft drinks, a freezer, and great options for charging your phone, power bank, etc. The sanitary facilities are new and clean. All in all, a fantastic place! We’ll be back.

Seems as though another five star review isn't really needed, but I'll back up what others are saying. We hadn't reserved so were VERY lucky to get the second last pitch (on a Monday night at the end of August!) for two nights. Clean, quiet, friendly, helpful. What more could anyone want?
