Liked: Easy to book on and friendly staff. Ok as a one night stop. Nice clean toilets. Disliked: Needs a bit of attention and tidying up around pitches. Lots of old permanent caravans around

Liked: Location location location! Great restuaurant, (not open Wednesdays) small shop with limited options but had what we needed, friendly staff with good english when we couldn't manage Spanish and a nice swimming pool. Washrooms were exemplary. There were fine bike rides to be had, and of course the wildlife centre next door is a gem. Vulture watching is a must. Disliked: Nothing

Everything is kept clean and looked after. Good shady spots if you want. Clean shower block, lots of hot water. Good dish washing area. Washing machines too . Lovely night sky and beautiful surrounding scenery. Great for bird watching and visiting the park. Good food in restuarant. ( closed in November) Menu del dia very good value, and when it gets very cold the fires are lit and it's warm and cosy. Above all, very helpful reception, restuarant staff, a small shop with fresh bread! Perfect. Gracias. We'll be back soon

Very friendly and relaxed campsite. Price is very reasonable and even better if you have ACSI membership. Toilet block is excellent and waste disposal easy to use. Most pitches are fairly level, some a bit more challenging. They have a small shop that sells some essentials and also fresh bread. Lots of bird life on and around site. Phone signal is adequate at the highest point, but there is also free WiFi. Monfrague Visitors Centre next door is well worth visiting as it is packed with information and very informative. There are also pleasant short walks in the grounds. Monfragüe is well worth visiting for birds, landscape and walks. There is also an excellent cycle track just north of the campsite along an old railway route.

Good camping site. Very clean services and very friendly and helpful reception. We were with our camper, two persons and electricity € 22,80. A very fair price for a night. I recommend this place.

Liked: Bar and restaurant were great with lovely service. A very welcome fan with mister at the bar, as it was 40 degrees. Pool was lovely. (Take your own chairs.) Lots of shade available near pool. Toilets and showers were immaculate. Little shop at reception, well stocked. Easy access to water, bins and electric. Dogs welcome on terrace of bar/restaurant and happy to provide a bowl of water. Disliked: Looks a bit scruffy maybe, but don’t let that put you off.

Liked: Large pitch & very clean facilities. The lady on reception was very welcoming & knowledgeable about the local area. The only downside was that we were only on a 1 night stopover so didn’t get to enjoy the local wildlife Disliked: nothing

Excellent camp ground on the northern edge of the Monfrague National Park. Pitches vary in size, some mostly suited to tents but a reasonable choice of pitches for motorhomes and caravans. Some with tree shading, others with artificial covers. Most are slightly sloping so blocks, chocks and wedges will be needed.
