Stayed here for 5 nights in Aug 25.|Very busy campsite - pitches are small. We loved it though - very well run, given a choice of 2 pitches on arrival (we chose one next to the river). Never had to wait for a toilet or shower and they were always clean. Only cold water for washing dishes which was a downside. Staff spoke English and very helpful.|It was very hot but you can swim in the river to cool off. |Location is on a road - some noise but didn't disturb us at night. Great location otherwise withing walking distance of Las Arenas.

The shower is strong and hot, better than the one at my place. There are many families and older people who stay in bungalows or vans. We stayed in the part opposite the road away from the river, it seemed quieter. Tent lots are not too tight, especially the ones that you can’t park your car onto. At night it’s not completely quiet, you still hear the road. Supermarkets at a walking distance.

This is one of my favourite ever campsites. Split into two areas with a road between the two. I was camping so stayed the 'river' side. Showers and toilets spotless with what seems like endless hot water. Definitely recommend.

Lovely campsite in spectacular setting ringed by the mountains with access to (very cold) river. Modern and clean facilities. Only 15-20 mins walk to nice town with plenty of good restaurants.

*THIS RATING IS FOR THE RESTAURANT AT THE CAMPSITE* The salami pizza 🍕 was tasty, they allowed us to sit by the road but they couldn’t do the serving there so we offered to take the food ourselves. We saw cars of hikers and vacationers passing through. The restaurant has a country vibe which we liked. We recommend having cider, it was pretty nice to enjoy in the afternoon after a day of activities. Pizza + filete ternera al cabrales + 2 bottles of cider/sidra = 36€

Delicious food and coffee, great staff and stunning location. Didn't camp here so can't speak for that side of it but going on our experience I'm sure it's great...the location alone is epic.

Really beautiful location, no worries about road noise, we were concerned before arriving but it's surprisingly quiet. The pitches are very varied, so if you let the folk know in advance what you require they will reserve something for you- we have quite specific needs and they were able to accommodate us, even giving us choices. The pizzas in the bar are yummy, the staff are friendly and helpful and communication when booking was easy. Easy walk into the local town which has everything you could need. Highly recommended.

Really nice campsite close to town for walking. Staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Probably the best showers I have ever experienced anywhere. Very clean and well looked after. Good bar/ cafe and fresh bread in the morning. Wonderful.
