Camping Nurapolis

The photos are totally misleading - 80% of the unmarked sites/spots are in a low, dark, dark pine forest, inbetween run-down, long-term caravans. Quite expensive also, 26 Euros/night for a middle sized camper van. First and last impression before we left without staying: An eerie place - imagine Blair Witch in a Hippie setting. To be fair: Very helpful staff though.

This camping was one of my favourites ever. Right at a beautiful beach in a very nice and natural forest. The restaurant and the bar are amazing with very good food and drinks. We loved to be in the bar area which is created beautifully and cosy. Also the crew is nice and very fun. So thank you and we will come back again ♡

The +: great beach! Clean toilets/showers. The restaurant was fairly good but expensive for what is proposed. The -: the overall campgrounds are quite run down. Expensive for the quality offered.

Nice campsite right on the beach with lots of trees and shade, the restaurant is very tasty and the bar is cozy with good live music, the staff is mostly friendly. The sanitary facilities are a bit older, but okay, the price-performance ratio is reasonable. It's amazing that fire and barbecues are allowed in the very dry forest, escape routes should be better signposted. Overall we're satisfied with the stay and can recommend it.

The camping is very nicely organized, there are places with full or partly shadow, vegetation which creates some spaces between tents. There is also a place where only tents are allowed (no car) which I find it very good. The persons who decide for this area can park the car in the parking area near to reception. Toilets are clean. The whole environment is pleasant, the staff is very nice, it was always a pleasure to stop a little bit and have a talk with lady from the reception (I guess the owner). Restaurant is delicious, especially for the one who likes lamb. I found pizza very tasteful, although I´m not a pizza lover, calamari also very good, staff very nice. I have been there with my wife and we both appreciate and seek for quiet places and this is what we got there for the first 12 days. Unfortunately, in the 13th evening (Saturday, 10 June 2023) the situation was changed. The restaurant was not anymore quiet due to kids entertainment, but I guess this cannot be avoided in many campings. I assume the noise could not be heard from tents area or the level is low. Kids entertainment stopped at 11 pm and the big problem for me starts at 12:00 with a very nosy music from Disco. At this time I was already back to tent and I could hear the noise very loud. Around 01:00 am. I went to the bar and I could see that disco from camping was running with full engine. I asked them to reduce the noise which actually happened, but was still noisy enough so I couldn´t sleep till around 03:00 am. Next day I complained to the lady from the reception and she told me that disco take place stating with beginning of June, if I well understood, but according to her, the noise would not reach tent area. It is true, there is a big distance between disco/bar to tent, but in that night the music was very very loud. Next day, Sunday, also my last day there was no disco. Without this unpleasant situation, this camping would deserve for sure 5 stars. I´m not so happy that I have to write these last sentences about such lovely place and people. And not to forget, the local cheese is incredibly good, the olive oil not yet tried. After 11 months: indeed, the olive oil is the best among different oil I tried around Mediterranean sea.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is good and with a very pleasant atmosphere. Then, although the facilities were clean, they require some updates or a renovation in my opinion. Everything looks very old. Still, the campsite location is very good, we were just not lucky with the algae problem which invaded the beach and made swimming very hard.

Great place over the dune to the sea. A bit hippie atmosphere, but very cosy with friendly animation for kids (not noisy at all). Do not read negative evaluations, we have had great time even without reservation upfront. Staff very nice, restaurant even arranged chocolate cake for birthday celebration. Enjoy relaxed atmosphere and great sea!

Went on a road trip with a motorbike through Sardinia in the summer of 2021. I stayed at the Nurapolis camp site for around two weeks and did day trips around the island. Amazing nature in the area, incredible staff and delicious food! It was an amazing experience and cant wait to visit again!
