Camping Officiel Wollefsschlucht

Terras camping with a variety of options, from nice tent fields and wine barrels or wooden huts for tent to good and solid camper places. We stayed at the highest road, near the playgrounds. Not too easy to get there with a large camper, but doable. Stayed for a week and enjoyed the two-day hike at the Mullerthal trail, second round while our camper stayed safely at this camping. Small pool, nice to play and swim a bit. Fresh bread service, order by sms pick up the next morning. Toilet building not the newest but clean and well maintained. Price very good compared to many other campings. Reception people friendly and helpful. Wifi at some spots really good, at other not catchable. Lots of space per camper or tent.

The location of the campsite is very good, you can go directly to the MT from the site. There are a lot of sanitary facilities, though a bit outdated. The tent campsite was not flat and quite crowded. The service was okay.

I enjoyed tent camping 1 night. Being on motorcycles they allowed up to park next to our tents. There would be no way to get a car into this area. The bathrooms were clean but its a rather long walk down the stiars.

Large camping and perfect location. However the sanitation is very old and dirty. Moreover they allow large groups that make noise (talking and music) all night. The bbq’s available at the campsite are used and will let your tent smell like it. The site is not flat, so take that into account.

Its a pretty environment but the camping itself is not real good, at least not for a backpacker like myself. The area for backpackers is made up out of clay ground and this is, even without rain, a mess. The service is terrible, if you wish to stay here but want to be able to leave without having to deal with the terrible service I recommend extending your stay per day. Since, if you pay in advance you will not receive the remainder if you leave earlier because of weather or any other reasons. For an almost empty camping this is just terrible service and therefore I will give the review as such. I payed 46 euro for 4 nights, left after the second night and received only 5 restitution after a discussion and the camping owner told me I was an exception. If I'd pay per day that would've cost me 23 total instead I payed 41 for a really muddy camping

The Camping Officiel is a good campsite if you want to be near to the town of Echternach. The campground is pretty steep so navigating it can be pretty rough, depending on your mobility. The campsite is up on a hill that you will have to descend to get to the town. There is electricity available and depending on your spot you can have shade. A pro is that there are multiple walking trails available directly from the campsite. There are also options for lunch on the campsite. The lavatories are cleaned daily from what I could tell. Prices are a little expensive but still doable.

The little hut was very cute and we slept very comfortably on the bed. There was a small heating fan provided which worked perfectly. ||The downside of this camping was that it was a little bit too crowded for us. There was a big family staying in the rest of the huts and were making bbq at late night. The smell could come in when we were trying to sleep. The toilets and showers were fine and the number of them was adequate.

Good campsite with decent prices. Right at the edge of town and near many hiking trails. Especially the Mullterthal trail. The “wine barrel” campings are very nice and have heating. We slept perfectly after a long hike.
