Camping Park Porto Moniz

Well kept campsite, has showers, toilets and space to eat. Spacious to camp at, a lot of solid ground to set up tents. The cost is 3 for tent, 3 for a person 26year old and older. I stayed for a couple of nights and felt pretty comfortable. There are also cabins to keep your personal stuff that you can close. They cost an Euro per day. You also have electricity and places to charge your phones and power banks. However, some people don’t care about basic decency so they stay up late until 12 in the evening, shout a play loud obnoxious music. They take all of the space and tables so you can basically go eat on the stairs or on the toilet.. the staff doesn’t care, since they are there only in the morning and in the night to get the hot water for showers running. Would like to see some changes about that, maybe add a past 10PM be quiet..

Well-equipped campsite with showers, toilets, electricity, a grill, and sinks for washing laundry. The tent area is spacious — we stayed for several nights at the end of March and only about a third of the spots were occupied. There’s no reservation system; you simply arrive, pitch your tent, and pay at the reception in the evening. We paid €9 per night — €3 per person and €3 for the tent. The surroundings are beautiful, and you fall asleep to the calming sound of a nearby river. A perfect base for exploring the northwest of Madeira.

Campsite with great facilities, even hot shower. But be aware, it can be very cold and stormy in winter especially with strong North East winds. The hydro power plant at the end of the river is a bit noisy at night. Always plenty of gas bottles from previous guests available.

Nice camp, unfortunately I left my powerbank charging in one of the electrical units on the bottom campsite and after calling several times with the receptionist, they told me it's not possible to retrieve it. I left it there this morning with my charger, please try to get in touch with me.

Excellent and very cheap camping , Shower (hot water in the morning and evening), toilet, place for cooking, parking.3 euros per person per night, +3 euros for a tent, depending on its size.

Amazing campsite where you have clean toilets, places to cook food, and areas to socialise. Very helpful staff. Price was really fair considering the facilities offered. Highly recommend

There is a lot of space for tents. The bathrooms are nice and clean, and electricity is included in the price. I deducted one star because the hot water runs only in very small time windows in the morning and in the evening.

The camping is located in a beautiful area with stunning surroundings. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Toilets and showers are in reasonably good condition and sufficient for a comfortable stay.
