Camping Pefkari

This year has been our third visit in this camping and most probably the last one. We have spend 1 week here (all paid jn advance), gold pitch (70 eur/night) and each night the smell from the camping toilets (from the sewage system) was something hard to bare. The issue was known to camping Management who received also complaints before us. Also, the toilets & showers close to the gold pitches have not been renovated for ages. Furthermore, we had a huge issue with a bulgarian family located in the bungalows - a granny that, for several days în a row, woke us up at 7 o'clock in the morning, IN OUR LONG WAITED VACATION, in a loud voice speaking to her crying grandchildren (that were more agitated & fussy as she talked louder and louder). The beach seemed to be too far for her to take them în a quiet way. The camping administrators did little to solve the issue. It's a pity as the camping has a great positioning (close to Pefkari & Potos), with a clear sea and lots of fish swiming close to the shore, lots of fun options in the area and a Masoutis supermarket at 5 minutes walk time.

Great place to be with the tent. 32e/night for a family pitch. Toilets and showers very clean, washed more than once a day. Very close to the beach. Safe for kids. Close to nice taverns and supermarket.

The camping is at a great location. There are a lot of kids here, its pretty loud sometimes. The water is not hot all the time but for a camping its great. The staff is kind. I would definitely come again.

A nice campsite in a great location right next to the sea. Toilets were kept clean. Showers were clean and had plenty of hot water, not very big so difficult to hang clothes in the cubicle without them getting wet but there were hooks on the wall outside the cubicles to use. Very useful fridges supplied. A little more expensive than we are used to but it was the only campsite open in the area. We stayed here for 2 nights which were, unfortunately a Friday and Saturday, so what was a lovely, peaceful location turned into a nightclub when one of the bars just along the beach played music at ear-splitting volumes until nearly 3 am, which meant we got very little sleep. Not sure if this would have been the case on other nights of the week. While this is something that the campsite can't control it would unfortunately put us off staying here again.

We spent two nights on the beachfront(gold zone). They don't charge people, they charge for the place. If you have 20 kids, that's fine. First time in Greece with a caravan, but this place was simply the best. You can see there was a lot of effort in every detail, you can see that the place is about freedom, independence and honesty. Common spaces are good and clean. Lots of shade, nice trees and gardens. The owner is what you want to have in all campsites around the world. Sorry for having to leave without shaking hands. Will return if we visit Thassos again.

Huge camping with a lot of shadowed slots. Clean and silent place with public kitchen, bath and toilets for a perfect vacation. I really enjoyed my stay there.

We camped there this August. The view to the sea is clean and neat, the facilities are clean. Our caravan stood next to an beautiful olive tree. There were also polite stray cats which can be fed.

Really great camping! We were in the studios, and have all the comfort of the hotel, but also, all qualities of a vacation at camping. The beach is clean, with rocks in the water, not crowded, peaceful. The rooms have great beds, pillows, kitchen, shower and toilet, everything we needed! The towels are changed regularly, the room was cleaned every day. Whole camping is very clean, peaceful, nice. The staff working there is very nice and polite, thanks! Location is good - only 15 min walk to Potos, near Limenaria,all beautiful beaches are really close. Every recommendation!
