Yelp
We loved this place, great lady Shiloh? She was so helpful and is a nice grounds and though freezing the night we went ,beautiful view& pleasant neighbors.

Yelp
I was amazed on how serene this place is! They have a lake and seemingly a music festival lot. I adore the music fest art vibes here. Service was wonderful and very clean cut spaces for the RV. The showers and toilets was above average and clean when it comes to RV spaces. They know how to pave the lot and use the land well. There's high bushes for privacy within each RV section. There's smooth and fast internet and even Uber Foods delivery here! We had seafood and did our own picnic bbq event in the desert! It was so epic. It's very peaceful to be lounging here and watching the stars at night.

Yelp
This is such a peaceful place. We went the beginning of March. Beautiful weather, nice and chilly at night... perfect for a campfire. The site is VERY clean, even the ground was raked throughout. The bathroom is clean and WARM! No metal toilet seats. Beautiful lake area that is home to many ducks (they have duck feed for sale) and two large owls. The owls usually come down from the trees at sunset to hunt. Around the lake there is plenty of seating and picnic area to enjoy eating or just taking it all in. The sites are separated by some trees, which is nice for privacy but you won't be getting shade. The staff is nice and knowledgeable. The little shop has supplies, ice, firewood, candy and shirts priced better than what you will find in town. The campground is located off a long and interesting road. They have an outside metal art museum, a shooting range and a motorbike track with jumps on the right side as you are driving to camp. Fellow campers on either side of us were friendly and respectful. We felt plenty safe enough to lock our pop up and head out to town for a couple of hours. We went to the J.T. State park... and I could have saved the $30 entrance fee because the campground is nestled between the same looking rocks, lol. Even had lunch with the local sheriff at a cute Mexican restaurant. Oh, Wi-Fi here is the best I've ever had camping! As for other reviews... I think, just keep to yourself, don't act a fool, and be respectful. It's a beautiful serene place, that it that way and you will enjoy yourself.

Yelp
This place was great. It was recommended the first time my boyfriend and I went to Joshua Tree and had no complaints. We're tent campers and really loved the amount of space we had and how clean the facilities are. Also a great distance from the park and surrounding area. After we checked in, we went to JT Park and came back to the site after the gate was closed, but wasn't a problem since they gave us the heads up. So we were able to call on an our way back to the site. I ended up getting sick and we had to leave early, was so sad. Two weeks later my boyfriend took me back and we came back to the site. Getting to enjoy it this time, I can firmly say that we will, without a doubt, return here any time we go to JT!

Yelp
Our family camped here in mid-November while we explored Joshua Tree National Park. From the campground to the west entrance to JTNP, it's about a twenty minute drive. Plan on a good 30-40 minute drive to get to the park interior. Our pull-through site was spacious and the full hook ups were appreciated. Clear desert skies made for great Starlink reception, so we were able to work and stay connected when needed throughout the week. Both the men's and women's restroom and shower facilities were clean with a code required to access each. No laundry facilities, but we knew that going in. The staff was friendly and eager to answer questions about the area. This is a very pet friendly location with plenty of space to walk the pups and a large enclosed off leash area. It's the desert, so don't expect any grassy spots. The tent camping area was very large as well with plenty of space available. We would recommend camping here if you're in the area and need a sold base to explore from.

Yelp
Joshua Tree Lake has many good qualities. It was clean and spaces were abundant. There is an area for dogs. The lake is beautiful and interesting to walk around. The sites come furnished with a picnic table and fire barrel. Thr campsite had good restrooms that were well maintained and free showers. The negatives is that it's far away from everything we wanted to do. The camp sites are mostly a gravel lot and not the most scenic. Bathrooms are far away from sites and we held it until our bladders were about to pop to avoid the walk. There are also lots of rules regarding how many vehicles you could have, had to pay to add people, the gates lock and early out and late in is difficult without calling management. Overall a good experience if you forgot to get a site in the national park but I would try to stay closer in next time.

Chuck W.

Yelp
It's a great spot. I have camped here over & over again at festivals & even when there was nothing going on. They have potable water for you for free. The duck pond is a great place to stay cool in the heat. I would recommend this spot for anyone looking to do some desert camping.

Yelp
We initially planned a beach camping trip with friends but due to bad weather predicted for the beaches, (last minute) we decided to book a reservation at Joshua Tree Lake RV & Camping. Prior to arriving, we read all of their rules and read the Yelp reviews and even watched some YouTube videos to prepare. Not going to lie, we were expecting to walk on eggshells but it was nothing like that. The lady who checked us in was very friendly and she explained everything to us and where things were located at. Everyone else we interacted with at the campsite were very friendly and seem very passionate about their jobs. The whole campsite is maintained very well. They clean the showers, bathrooms, porta potty's daily and I've seen them drive around in golf carts to pick up trash that have blown towards the fence lines. The rules are there for everyone's safety and there shouldn't be a problem if you are respectful and you follow the rules. We booked three sites next to each other for two nights. The tent sites are pretty big, we would have been fine with two sites for a group of 6 people+dog. It does get pretty windy so check the weather before you come. There were 25 mph winds and high gusts that blew one of our friend's ground tent out of the stakes. They bought a cheap tent off of Amazon though. You park right in your site so if you have a roof top tent, you won't be camping in a parking spot away from your picnic table, fire pit, etc. In addition, the ground is pretty level. In the past, we have camped inside JT and have boondocked outside of the park as well. This is a good alternative to staying inside of the park. We definitely will return here. It wasn't too busy. Their prices are reasonable and they have great amenities. Definitely recommend!!

Yelp
If you have special needs family members regardless of their age, save them the embarrassment of being reprimanded by lake management. My adult grandson cast his fishing line in a forbidden area. Once I recognized his error, I told him he had to move. Management staff immediately came to scold me. As he continued without taking a breath, he said he was giving me a verbal warning . I told him he didn't need to talk to me that way and my mouth got the better of me at which time a female adult scolded me for raising my voice to "her" employee. Again talking to me as if I were a child, she said we'll maybe they needed to read the rules first themselves. I told her we would not be back and she said "good." I am 72 years old and can instruct my special needs family members effectively without being treated that way.

Yelp
Always a wonderful experience. Clean bathrooms, electricity hook ups and safe camping areas. The owners and staff always are avaible for questions. Having a little general store is so convenient as well. I've always enjoyed my stays there.

Yelp
New home to the Joshua Tree Gem & Mineral Show. This October show Sept 28th - Oct 1st 2023 was a super great show with 37 vendors spread through out the rv park. Great host and much help from the staff of the RV park. Free admission free parking clean restrooms food vendors. They also supprised us with local music 11 - 3 Sat and Sun. There will be a spring show coming soon in April dates to be posted on the Joshua Tree Gem & Mineral Show Facebook page.

Yelp
Super cute spot for any event. The place is clean, quiet, out in the open and super cozy. It is really quiet at night's since there's literally nothing around but nature. The place is fully equipped with a kitchen, restrooms, beds etc enough for fun and peace time. Outside, they have a jacuzzy, swings, hammocks and plenty of parking. The drive here was beautiful! All the mountains you go through and the small towns. Just a nice little spot to get away from it all! I would definitely be coming back.

Michelle E.

Yelp
I would definitely return here! Spots are nice and level and most are large. The staff are helpful and friendly. We were even given some great information about Joshua Tree National Park!

Andrew T.

Yelp
If you decide to just show up and get lucky to find a spot in Joshua tree National park... yea no such luck we drove the entire park. On our way down 62 we saw this off the main road (62) about five miles west. Clean and pet friendly is was a good choice.

Emily K.

Yelp
We only stayed here one night because there were some pretty bad winds, however, we definitely plan on coming back. Clean facilities and a cute lake. The camp store has any last minute items you'd need. The tent camp sites were a good size.

Brandy M.

Yelp
Been out there twice now. Clean Bathrooms Clean Showers. The little lake is adorable and it's nice for a stroll. Would recommend!

Doug H.

Yelp
This is a great family owned business in operation for over 25yrs. The hosts couldn't be more friendly and RV sites have 50amp service.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I were looking for a place to stay while visiting Joshua Tree, and we came across this campground. We met with Alyson, who was gracious and friendly, and rented a night. We were so impressed with the campground and staff that we HAD to stay another night. The campground was beautiful, and Stu, who we met with the following day, was professional and courteous. I highly recommend this campground to anyone looking for just one night, or multiple nights! We will definitely be returning in the future

Andresa S.

Yelp
Staff helped set us up as we were first timers. My 10 year old caught 14 fish. It was nice and peaceful. We brought lunch and ate out by the lake. Definitely will return. Oh, and you can buy your bait there

Tara F.

Yelp
I was incredibly impressed with this family owned campground. All the staff were kind and considerate. Allyson was my first point of contact and she could not have been more helpful. Quiet, serene, very clean and well cared for. Highly recommend!

Alycia R.

Yelp
This is a very nice campground within a few miles of the park entrance. We stayed 5/20 - 5/22 because I wanted to see the stars. All staff we encountered were friendly and professional. A big plus are the lines of tall plantings that separate each site, giving a nice sense of privacy. Star viewing is very good from the campground, but if you want to see something spectacular, drive into Joshua Tree right before sunset. Pull off somewhere and watch. Don't let the bad reviews scare you away. You'll enjoy your stay.

Yelp
This place is hostile towards electric vehicles and asians. I was left stranded and called a racial slur "ching chiong" by their staff on Thanksgiving night. This bad behavior is not isolated to a specific employee, and is condoned by management. (Updated in point 4) 1. Non-RVs are not allowed I arrived in my electric vehicle (EV) on Thanksgiving night Nov 26, 2020 at 6.45pm PST. I picked up my orange after-hours registration forms at the front office. A man then walked over and asked us: "where's your RV?" He also claimed that "EVs are not allowed at the campsite." Even though their website specifically said that EVs are allowed as long as I booked a campground. When I asked him why are EVs not allowed he proceeded to say "because I say so. This is an RV campground and you don't have an RV. You need to leave now". I asked him who he is, and he said that he is the owner. He also took away my orange registration form, probably to claim that I was a no-show, and not refund me. 2. Racist slur to guests Then the most unbelievable thing happened. He called me "Ching Chiong". This happened in California, in year 2020. 3. Unreliable reservation. This man made us leave on Thanksgiving night, causing us to be stranded, when everywhere else is booked up and closed. 4. Hostility towards EVs and cover-up of bad behavior exist among management The next day, I called on Nov 27, 2020 at 5.47pm and was put through to the manager. The manager stated that EV camping are not allowed on the campground, even if I have made a booking. There are conflicting policies on their website, which states that "Electric Vehicles may reserve RV sites to charge, but will be expected to pay the nightly fee for the RV site." EV drivers please be aware that sleeping in your EVs (EV camping) are not allowed) and they are very hostile towards EV drivers. I also told the manager that I was very uncomfortable about the racial slur said to me. The manager stated that that "we reviewed his 'body cam', and security merely said "have a nice day". This is absolutely false. Management denied and covered up their employee's unacceptable racial slur behavior. The manager's tone during the call was very defensive and curt. 5. Covid safety questionable The entire campground is plastered with signs to wear masks. But the man is not wearing masks. 6. The campground locks up at 8pm. I arrived at 6.45pm, and saw that the gate was chained up. I called security to have them unlock it. The security who picked up said (in a slightly annoyed tone) that the gates were not locked, I just have to manually unchain it. The voice of the man who asked us to leave sounded like the security that picked up.

Yelp
If I could give ten star for their shower facilities I would! Cleanest public showers in the Morongo basin!

Yelp
I had a wonderful time at this campground! The grounds were well kept and beautiful! Check in was smooth and easy and the receptionist Brittney was an absolute delight, so accommodating, helpful, and genuinely kind! Highly recommend this campground if you're looking to have an exceptional experience!!

Yelp
We stayed here 4 years ago, and then now we were in the area and stayed here 3x in the last month. Convenient, large grounds, easy check in. They full, partial and dry camping available. They have a pond with ducks and koi fish. Great family spot. Descent pricing. If you want to dump your tanks it is 25.00 and 10.00 to add water.

Cam S.

Yelp
A horrible place.I went there to get a drink and some potato chips, knowing from the Joshua Tree Music Festival that they had them.I purchased them and took them outside to eat them when the woman ihadjustbought them from came out with a paper and told ee I would have to pay four bucks to sit there and eat what I just hadpurchased .i told her no way and packed up my stuff and walked away.

Yelp
We had a great stay at this campground. Yes, there are lots of rules, but nothing unusual that respectful people would do anyway. The campsites are separated by mostly Oleander trees, which does give a bit of privacy, especially for a desert setting where you can expect to have no greenery. This is the first campground I've actually seen someone come & clean up after someone has checked out. The fire pit is emptied and any other liter is removed, the gravel is racked. There seem to be a lot of employees, so the grounds are well maintained, including restrooms and showers. I would like to acknowledge Allyson, the manager for her helpfullness. Our truck had to go to the dealer for a repair and we weren't sure if we'd get it back in time to leave at our check out date, so she blocked out another spot for us until we could find out more info about our truck. Plus she gave us info for a man that could come and move the trailer to the new spot if needed. Luckily we didn't need to move, we got our truck back in a few days, so all went well. In addition one of our neighbors was in an accident, totaled her truck, and Allyson arranged another spot for her too. So, I can't say enough about how accomodating she was. We will absolutely be back!

Yelp
I really wish i could put no star at all you guys are disgusting people. Very unprofessional, The "koi" can't be caught or photographed, fish can't be out of the water for 30 seconds "no cussing on your own terms around your own people beacuse they will complain if caught‍ just weird rules, They all are family and try to stick up for one another's poor decision. ive even got free fishing passes to the place beacuse of how much they actually suck. I have nothing nice to say at all. Even the fishing is bad. Same fish every 2 casts. and the "koi" are actually Carp It's a shambles of a place. Definitely don't recommend.

Whitney N.

Yelp
Really great RV park & tent camping. Very close to Joshua tree national park and very great for stargazing. Artsy family owned business that's wonderfully kept. We stayed 3 weeks to be close to the park & hike. It was great, the trash was kept up on regularly. If your looking for the off grid desert feel this is it. Book for the busy months ahead of time they book up after October pretty fast which is prime time hiking for J-Tree.

Justin B.

Yelp
Made a quick decision to drive up to JTNP from San Diego and camping can fill up fast in the park. Joshua Tree Lake RV & Campground is just a quick 10-15min drive from the park entrance and it's real secluded still from the Joshua Tree strip. Even outside the park you can still check out the beautiful starry skies! Some of the best night sky views in the area! There's a small pond to catch and release fish from if you choose. The bathrooms and showers on the property are kept very clean! Will definitely be checking this place out again next time we travel up to JTNP. Amazing desert sunsets here as well as some glowing sunrise skies. Make sure to mark this place and check them out as you make the trip to see Joshua Tree!!

Pat J.

Yelp
We stayed here for a weekend and it was ok. We chose to stay in dry camping area. $30 a night is steep for dry, but we got hot showers, flush toilets and a dump. Dogs are an extra cost. The office ladies were helpful and friendly. Good view of the mountains.

Alex S.

Yelp
We came here to camp because all of the grounds inside of the park were booked and I'm glad we did! We got in late due to an accident on the highway and they left the gate open for us which was very nice. Clean restrooms and flush toilets were a great touch and way better that the ones in the park. They also have showers which was very nice.

Court T.

Yelp
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! I am a frequent camper in the Joshua tree area but this was my first time staying at these grounds. Fist off, the grounds are not well kept. Joshua Tree has so many other campground options....do not pick this place over them. Along with the disappointing grounds, the people who work here are absolutely awful and RACIST. It's shocking that people who work in hospitality can lack such basic kindness and warmth. When I read the other reviews this seems like an issue other people have encountered. Don't support this sort of establishment, take your money elsewhere.

Matthew A.

Yelp
So I definitely read through the reviews about this place and I heard lots of positive things as well as a few negative. I wanted to keep an open mind, and I couldn't be happier with my own personal experience with this place. The staff was super helpful and polite! I suddenly had to postpone my one-night trip until the weekend after, so when I called the office, they were able to easily book me for the following Saturday night in the same spot! I forgot who I spoke to then, but she was really nice and accommodating! We got there a bit early and had to wait until noon to check in, but Stu was very kind when he informed us of this. They give u a map of the facility and an access code for the restroom, and also politely answered my list of questions and concerns about my stay. Wood bundles and ice are sold at the office at a reasonable price. There is also a small store that I didn't go into, but I saw from the window that they sell drinks and snacks which was pretty cool too. I can't thank Stu enough for hooking it up with a late checkout! He made sure that nobody was gonna be using our spot the next day, and he gave us 2pm checkout time! This was a huge blessing as my buddies and I were sluggish in the morning after a night of drunken stargazing! In my opinion, the campground was pretty easy to navigate through, and everything is spaced out pretty well from the campsites to the facilities. Bathroom and showers were pretty clean, with plenty of warm water. There is also a dishwashing station, and more than one place to dump your trash. The night was clear and the stars were spectacular! Quiet time is at 10pm, but Stu had said we can keep the fire going and hangout as long as we weren't getting too crazy. We saw the golf cart come around maybe twice in the daytime, and once in the morning, but not at nighttime. They kept to themselves mostly, and one lady was pretty friendly as she rode by, complimenting my skillful ladder toss playing lol. I would definitely come back here, and I would also advise to keep an open mind, and be polite to your camp staff and your camp neighbors.

Ashley K.

Yelp
Only stay here if you hope to be treated like a criminal, Today I inquired about viewing the property as a potential guest in the future I was told it would cost me 24$ for my family to get out of the car and look around and when I stated that was steep and I was going to pass on that ridiculous offer. I went to my sons car parked behind my vehicle to explain the cost of "day use" when my daughter rolled down her window and said mom we have to go they are recording us! Sure enough the staff at the office had their phone camera pointed at my children. I made a swift uturn and rolled down my window and proceeded to ask them why they had their phones out recording us but was met with silent stares. Never will I ever be a patron of this facility and I feel violated that they would record minors in a vehicle because I wasn't willing to pay to view a camp site. If you are interested in being treated this way best of luck to you!

Andy L.

Yelp
I'd like to start of by saying the location and all the staff (except the manager) were great. I would be giving this 5 stars if it weren't for my experience with their manager. This is my second and last time here. We arrived here on 10/29/2021, Friday night around 9:00PM and were able to do a late check in as there was a reggae concert going on. Our late arrival paperwork only had 2 tags for the vehicles (we had 3 vehicles). In the morning, we flagged down a woman and male in a golf cart to ask about our third parking tag. They were extremely pleasant and we loved them. They instructed us to go to the main office and advised us if no one is there, we can knock, wait, or come back later in the day to get my tag. When we got to the office, there was a sign that they will be back after cleaning so my group decided to head out to Joshua Tree, enjoy our day, and get our tag when we came back. When we came back around 5:00PM, I was driving through the entrance at 5mph. There is a stop sign where the walkway to the front office is and someone walked out of the office but did not cross and turned his back toward me. I figured this person was waiting for me to go, so rather than stopping at the stop sign, I rolled through it at 4-5mph. The manager stopped me and this was our conversation: Manager: Hi Me: How's it going? Manager: Is there a reason you didn't stop at the stop sign? Me: What's that? Manager: You had to stop at the stop sign then proceed only, is there a reason you didn't stop? Me: I believed he was letting me go. Manager: You still got to stop at the stop sign [my music starts playing and didn't hear what he said]. Me: Sorry, what was that last part? [I muted my radio] Manager: You had to stop at the stop sign and proceed with caution. Me: Yeah, sorry, I thought he was letting me go. Manager: Okay well you can make a U-turn and the exit is right here. Me: I already have a spot over there, sir. [The person who stopped and let me go stops and looks at us for a few seconds but continues walking] Manager: Where's your tag? Me: We didn't get one, we were a late entry last night. Manager: Did you pay for camping? Me: Yes we did. Manager: Okay because you need a tag for your vehicle. Me: There wasn't one in the drop box. Manager: There wasn't one in the drop box, did you come today to check in with us? Me: You guys were closed this morning when we left. Manager: Why because we open at 8:30. Me: No one was there. Manager: At 8:30? Me: Yeah. Manager: I was there all day. Me: We left around 9 or 10. Manager: Okay, so. Me: Yeah, the sign said you guys were closed for cleaning. Manager: Yeah then you wait and come back, so park there, walk back, and get your tag. Me: I believe my friend over there is doing that for me already. Manager: Well, lets not second guess, lets park there and we'll check in. Me: You got it. Manager: Thank you. Me: Thank you very much. Manager: You're welcome, or you can leave, not my problem. Me: Sorry, sir? I didn't mean to like... [he cuts me off] Manager: You know what, just leave, vacate out and I'll make sure your friend gets a refund too, go pack up your s*** and leave. Go. You get 15 minutes to pack up because I'm telling you to slow down and stop at the stop sign because that's what's written in policies. Me: Yeah, sir, I [he cuts me off again] Manager: Also when you signed up, any rude or disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated. Me: Sir, I wasn't trying to be rude. Manager: You are being rude and being condescending, I told you to stop, proceed with caution, you're second guessing and questioning what I have to tell you. Me: Can we like roll this back a little? Manager: Nope, go pack up, I'll tell your friend too. I stayed by the office to speak to a cashier and see if I can speak to someone else about this, all over rolling through a stop sign at 5mph, but the cashier was very nice and apologized as he was the manager. I asked if there's another manager or someone else I can talk to about this as we just wanted to cook dinner and relax for the night. The cashier informed me that the owners were not available as they were recently involved in a traffic accident and ultimately said he had the final word. When I got back to our site, my friends told me the manager followed them and stared at them. Then the manager was saying I was being rude and condescending and I need to learn how to talk to people. Ultimately the manager said we can stay, but my group was so appalled by how the manager handled the situation that we decided to drive 2-3 hours home rather than stay. I have this all recorded (video and audio) on my vehicle's dash camera. We loved our previous visit minus some minor hiccups, and we were bringing new people out on this trip to show them the campsite and enjoy Joshua Tree. I will never be recommending this place and have since rescinded all my recommendations. A simple "Please stop at all posted stop signs for safety reasons" would have been effective.

Yelp
This is a beautiful, artsy campground with tasteful decor and clean bathrooms & showers and everyone who works here was just lovely to us... except for that one guy all the other 1 star reviews mentioned who is apparently named "Stu." If you had the misfortune of running into him you'll know exactly who I mean. I honestly don't know how this guy still works here (he talks as though he's the owner?) because he is just about the meanest creep on the planet and did his darndest to try and ruin our stay here. Here's why: * Rude to us from the moment we arrived: we got in 10 minutes before our friends who made the reservation, he confirmed all the details for our registration, then refused to let us move our car to our site 30 feet away and told us to wait in our car until our friend arrived * Demanded to see ID for our friends' kid even though the official policy is only adults need ID * Lied repeatedly, including telling us we absolutely had to be back before 8pm or the "gates would be locked," when in fact there's a sign on the actual gate with a number to call to be let in after hours. We took him at his word and had a miserable night trying to camp in the desert and drove back at 7am when the gates supposedly opened because the whole reason we booked this campground in the first place was to see the stars * Apparently hates women, rude to the guys in our group but super EXTRA rude to the girls * Looked my husband in the eye and drove away in a golf cart as he approached the service desk for help Will definitely not be returning as long as "Stu" works here.

Yelp
As many people do, we landed here because it houses all of the overflow from the National Park. We stayed here for two nights, and those two nights couldn't have been any different from each other. The first night was a Thursday night and we were nearly the only people camping in the lot. There were a few RVs at the hookups, but it was almost dead. It was also incredibly windy. The second night was a Friday night and when we returned from Joshua Tree National Park, the tenting area was really crowded. And there really isn't any order to how people are allowed to park or place themselves. So it's first come, first serve. The employees in the office were way more cordial this night as well. But beware, the stickers are $6, almost the same cost of spending the night here. This is essentially a sandy field. They do have fire pits, but they are sporadically placed around the lot. The bathrooms are far away from the tenting location, but they are clean. The showers were free and were clean, but we got to those first thing in the morning so we may have used all of the hot water. Sorry to the people behind us! For it being less than 15 minutes from Joshua Tree National Park and only costing $10 a person, how could you go wrong?

Yelp
Employees take pictures of minors. when we arrived at the park we asked for a month but was only given a week since the manager wasn't in at the time. we were under the impression that when the manager would arrive we would be able to pay for a month. then hurricane hillary hit and we had evacuated, leaving the rv in the spot that we paid for. they had no sympathy or understanding of our situation. they did not call or email letting us know that we would not be able to get a month spot. so when we got back they threatened to get the police involved. i am 17 and was the only one at the rv at the time they threatened and then proceeded to take pictures of me with my back turned. when my dad arrived back at the rv shortly after that, he asked to see the pictures and they would not show us the pictures that the employee took. When we went into the office to talk to them they proceeded to yell at my disabled veteran father for trying to protect his daughter. Overall they were rude, unprofessional, and very disrespectful. I do not recommend coming here.

Yelp
The manger here is rude and gave driver hard time indo not recommend ever calling a local service or uber or Lyft he will freak out if the are on HIS property and yell at them. Also will make you walk to gate to be picked up and call them to back in the locked gate.

Yelp
We stayed 3 nights over Thanksgiving and really enjoyed ourselves (family of 4 in an rv) The location worked well to go in The park. It was somewhat windy but we use a propane fire, so that worked great. We walked around the camp, looked at the artistic work (the owner shared that the "sanctuary " was built in part as a place for Marines to take solace. My kids fished but had more fun feeding the fish. Casado go next store Is where music festivals happen but during Covid there are little rental trailers. If it's owned by the same people and we went over just to check it out. All just cool to serve would return here.

Yelp
Fantastic stay just outside of Joshua Tree National Park. Camped for one night in an RV spot with my Four Wheel Camper/Truck and this spot provided the perfect accommodations for refilling water, topping off electrical, and showering after pedaling bikes in Joshua Tree all day. Upon packing up the camp hosts were so incredibly friendly in my not so punctual 11:30am departure. They were kind and easy going, making sure I had a good stay and letting me know I was able to stay another night in the overflow if I so chose. I highly recommend this spot if you're in the area.

Yelp
This campground is as close to perfect as I've seen a campground get. Hot water, toilets, beautifully sequestered. The woman at the check-in was kind, polite, and helpful! Went in to see if they sold sunglasses (forgot mine), and the older gentleman looked that had been sitting on the counter for a while and gave them to me for free - genuinely touched at his kindness and generosity. The lake has koi and ducks, and overall, it's a great little oasis. We wanted somewhere with little light pollution, and we got what we were looking for. Have been there twice and have had wonderful experiences both times. Will absolutely be back.

Yelp
What a great experience! I don't know why people complain about the staff. We were polite so they were. Upon arrival, I came in and complimented the staff on their beautiful grounds. They didn't charge us for the kids ;) Bathrooms are 5-Star camping bathrooms. Hot water and non-crowded showers. Super clean. Probably one of the best camping experience we've had. We will be back. I'm glad we stayed here and not in the National Park. Update: since our first stay, we've gone back two more times in two months. LOVE this place!

Yelp
This is a great spot for an rv. Rural. Great amenities. Super well maintained and wonderful family run operation. Clean and large bathrooms. Laundry. It backs on to the site of the Joshua tree music festival and there is wonderful art through the fishing "lake" area. It would be my camping go to place outside of the Joshua tree national park if you need a full hook up

Yelp
What a great discovery! We have been camping in Joshua Tree for years. But this last President's Day way so crowded... my niece, nephew and I were out of luck. The Park suggested this place. I tell you, I don't think we will ever camp in the park again. This place was amazing! Loved the lake and all the places to sit near it. The convenient store on site, which is ran by very nice ladies was perfect. Bathrooms and Clean... & had HOT Showers! We felt safe and I will be back with all of my friends.

Yelp
Take the negative reviews seriously. We could not find the campground bathrooms on our first morning. The front desk guy accosted me for going into restricted area. I explained that I did not intend to offend - he responded well you did. I asked for the owner to address customer service. The owner arrived with a terrible attitude and was told my kids were chasing the ducks and disrespecting rules. I told him we had neither seen ducks nor had we violated any of the list of rules. He asked if I wanted to leave. I said no because we loved the space and just wanted to be treated with decency. He said we could stay or go because he did not care about our decision. Do not spend a dime here. It's unfortunate because it is a lovely spot with an artsy, hippie-vibe.

Yelp
Off the beaten path so it is nice and quiet. Water and electric hookups at most sites. I say most because they have spaces for boondocking as well. Septic dump is not at all electric sites so you still have to hit the dump station on the way out. Bathrooms and showers available. Fire pits and tables at all the sites. Nice place to unplug but WiFi is available for a premium price (I looked it up). It was nice being able to see the stars but I didn't want to stay up too late stargazing after a long day of driving.
