Camping Playa la Arena

Stayed June 2025. Great location close to beautiful sandy beach. But! there are many caravans here that are obviously permanant. Pitches too close together. Facilities are clean with plenty of hot water. Disabled shower located in mens block. Site grounds well kept. Bar and restaurant closed at time of visit. Supermarket also closed. Couldn't locate recycling bins, only glass. Beware, price sounds good for pitch but then add on people and electricity. Pay on exit.

Currently here for our last few days before we sail home. Easy enough access we are in a 7.5m motorhome with a high roof. No low trees which is a bonus Very welcoming staff, lovely restaurant onsite and well stocked shop. Direct access to an amazing little beach down some steps. Beautiful clean clear water. We would definitely return and we have decided to stay put until we go home, (originally only planned a night or 2).

Liked: Distance to the beach is incredible, on site cafe is lovely if a little limited, camp shop has everything you need. Free showers Disliked: Toilets were not clean if you did not use them first thing, showers small, no toilet roll or soap at basins. Small camping pitches very closely squashed together. Very loud music from the cafe all Evening. Large groups children running around the site until past midnight every evening. Not all Pitches use standard power adaptors

Spent 4 nights here in my motorhome 19/05/2025 - 23/05/2025 and thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet. The tranquility of the place is incredible, just the sound of the waves below to lull you to sleep. I know all that may change at the height of the tourist season but for me it was perfect. Showers are spotless with plenty of hot water, washing facilitys and toilets excellent. The whole site is clean and tidy and a credit to the maintenance team. 40 steps will bring you down to the beach with a tap and cold water shower at the top to wash off the sand on your return.

The situation is really good, directly at a beautiful beach. The showers and baths are amazing and I saw them cleaning it like 3 times a day. The price is according to what you get. We payed 36,50€/ night for a tent, car and two people

We have just spent three most enjoyable nights at CAMPING PLAYA LA ARENA. We are travelling the N.Coast of Spain in a motor home. Our experience could not have been better from the welcome on arrival from Gabriella to our departure today. This campsite is spotlessly clean with all the facilities that you need. The bonus was the direct access to the vast and stunning beach via steps, situated right beside our pitch. Our intention was to stay one night but we extender our stay as we enjoyed it so much. The terrace bar and restaurant overlook the beach and both the service and food is great. We have e-bikes and cycled to adjacent towns and beach’s which were also stunning. Isla is steeped in history with beautiful restaurants and bars also. I would highly recommend booking this campsite.
