Camping Port Blanc

Beautiful camp and location and the little hut was charming. It had good amenities although didn't have toilet paper as it's mainly a camping place (we stayed in a cute cosy little hut which was attractive and was made of wood which added to its charm). You have a beautiful view of the beach with pine trees from the campsite. Overall it was a great stay for us

A wonderful campsite directly on the beach. We stayed in one of the coco sweet tents. It was small but cosy and worked well with two small children. They do not have the outdoor awnings anymore as stated on their website (we were aware prior to coming) but it wasn’t a problem because we had nice weather. Maybe a thought though for people who have a lot of stuff with them that it can’t be stored outside in bad weather. The beach is stunning with sand that literally sparkles as though it’s made of glitter and gold. At low tide the rock pools emerge which is great for the kids to paddle and explore in. A lot of comments online here about the bathrooms but we were satisfied. I saw the staff cleaning them daily and while one block didn’t have hot water for a few days reception was very up front about the issue at check in and it was resolved quickly on the first working day. Hot water was working at the other shower block so it really wasn’t a problem. There is a bakery truck at reception every morning with fresh French bread. Delicious and affordable. The campsite offers small supplies but the super market nearby is within walking distance and also very nicely stocked with lovely French food. There is a free shuttle bus in to Dinard however it doesn’t always run on schedule. We waiting in Dinard 15 mins before departure time and the bus never showed. Luckily the walk from the campsite and dinard is easy and under 30 mins. What was really lovely was how friendly and helpful the staff were. Always pleasant and greeting us with a smile and providing help with what ever we needed. One of the staff even took my rubbish for me as I walking to the bins with my child to help me which was very much appreciated. I hope the staff know who this young man is and how helpful he was. They were also very helpful when at checkout our car battery died and provided jumper leads for us. The local city of dinard and the ferry to st. Malo are also a must. Both cities and very lovely and the markets on Tuesday and Thursday in Dinard are unlike any I have ever experienced. The restaurant at the campsite was also great. Limited menu but easy for sharing meals with children and full to sand and safe for the kids to run around. It’s a shame we only experienced it on the last night. We definitely recommend this campsite and would love to come again.

Beautiful location and stunning view of the sea and beach from the campsite. The campsite had a cosy feel. People seemed friendly in general. I really enjoyed my experience here

Site with easy access to beach, lovely views of the sea and next to the coastal path. Walking into Dinan is 20-30 minutes by road or 1 hour by coastal path. Facilities kept very clean and showers are powerful. Enjoyed our stay and 3 spectacular sunsets over the beach.

No a good site €25 a night no toilet seats and no loo roll not very clean nowhere to fill up water only small taps in pich area you have to use a watering can to fill up only good thing is the beach

Great spot, lovely people , right on a lovely beach . Only a quick cycle ride from a brilliant shopping centre......so you won't go hungry nor cold .

Access after reception tight and some pitches require manoeuvring. Widespread use of levelling ramps. Unisex facilities clean but old. Motorhome borne requires manoeuvring, but water available near most pitches and multiple toilet empty points. Site overall clean and well maintained, and as with many in France increasing proliferation of rental cabins. Booked three nights in Early June, and thought we’d move on after one night but it grew on us. Excellent access to beach. Onsite catering average. Walk into Dinard under 30 minutes, with shops and cafés. Walk back along coastal path 45 minutes, for surefooted people and stunning views. Would we come back? Probably, but not in mid - high season.

We stayed for 2 nights, and I wish it could have been a little longer. Great location, lovely views of the sea. Very quiet both during the day and through the night. Lovely friendly welcome upon arrival, ice sized pitch, showers, and toilet blocks are busy and well used, but although they look a little dated, they were clean and always had hot water.
