I sent an email to the camping to let them know I might not make it on time before 8pm, and that I might be 30 minutes late because of heavy traffic. I asked what my options were. They never replied. Luckily I arrived before 8pm. Moreover, there are a lot of dogs on the camping, and their owners don't seem to be picking up their poo.
When I contacted the camping to ask if they had available places for us, they said yes. When we arrived, we were told to place the caravan wherever in a given area that was already almost full. Therefore we had to place the caravan right next to the volleyball field and the toilets and showers, opposite the restaurant with loud music. There was also no shade at all. People were screaming during the day and everyone was walking past our caravan to shower or use the toilet. After 2 days, we were able to move to another place because the holiday season was over and a lot of guests were leaving. That place was better, but very muddy. If they did not have any actual places available, we would have prefered to be told that in order to find a camping that did.
Because the second spot they gave us was muddy, and under trees, the caravan was muddy and full of branches that I wanted to get rid of using a hose. When I used the hose on an empty field to get rid of the mud, I was told that I am not allowed to do that by a man who worked at the restaurant.
The showers and the toilets were clean.
Overall it was a very loud camping, from early in the morning you can hear the radio.
The ladies at the reception were very helpful and spoke good English too.
