A truly great campsite and great stopover. Stunning facilities, friendly staff, well stocked, competitively prices shop onsite, a very pleasant walk into Benidorm. Wish all campsites were as well run.

We didn’t know what to expect after reading some of the reviews. But, what we found couldn’t be more different. We have just had 5 amazing days at Camping Raco, we can’t fault it. The service at reception is exceptional, nothing is too much trouble. The staff in the bar/restaurant are very professional with great service. The shower blocks are the cleanest we have seen in all our travels. All in all an excellent stay. Thank you Càmping Raco. The Dempsey’s.

Excellent campsite. Toilet blocks very clean and showers Excellent. The food served was good, and various tapas is what I had. Free with drinks.

Things to bear in mind. Lots of long stay pitches tourers are given pitches with limited sun. |Noisy building work from all directions.|Limited hot water which impacted on our electrical bill. |Poor dog walking facilities. |Upgrades causing disruption to guests. |Ling way from.the beach 40 min walk. |Very helpful reception staff|Great campsite shop much better than the new Aldi next door which was absolutely rubbish. |Indoor pool a bonus but needs upgrading.

Arrived for a 4 night stay to meet friends.we were allocated a pitch beside a building site builders walking across our pitch vehicles blocking us in. And other campers using our pitch as a path through. The site has mostly residential plots, giving it the appearance of a Rio de janeiro Favala Touring units are treated as a way to sell plots that no one wants, and at 28 euro, then electric on top was the most we have paid on our 2 month trip. There was no sun behind the new Aldi and black gravel pitches, which got everywhere. In fact, it was like cat litter. I will be sweeping it out of my van for weeks. The location was OK on the bus route Campsite bar is very reasonable I would not return.

Just home from a fab family holiday here. This isn’t usually the type of holiday we would do but as my family members drove here for my mums 60th to stay in their tents we decided to stay in one of the bungalows for 10 nights. The bungalow was small but clean and had everything we needed and although we had everything to cook at home we ate out a lot as the area was very cheap. The site is in a great area over looking the mountains and within walking distance to Benidorm but taxis can also be ordered from reception. We were worried about staying here after reading the reviews about the construction and I understand why locals are upset but we weren’t going to let a bit of noise ruin our holiday on a beautiful site. To be honest we spent most days at the pool and barely noticed the noise! Also want to state that we travelled from England and found the restaurant staff to be friendly and the staff at reception were very helpful! We thought the shop was reasonably priced and the baguettes which they make up for you were amazing for €3.50! I think we got one everyday! All in all we had a lovely stay and if we were to do this type of holiday again would definitely come back to raco!||Also a top tip if your using the pools make sure to have your wrist bands on at all times as the life guard is very strict on it!😂
