Great location (directly next to gondola station) and very kind staff. All the necessary facilities and perhaps the cleanest toilets at any camp ground I've stayed. However, it's a little expensive (20chf for just me and my hammock - no tent or car) given the lack of privacy and how close the pitches are to one another. For campervans or short stays I would really recommend this place! I felt extremely welcomed and taken care of. Thank you very much :)

Very beautiful place and very nice and helpful staff/owner. The weather was sunny during the day and there was no condensation in my tent during the few nights there. There is a hut where people can barbecue and we can also borrow hot plate from reception to boil water. The toilet and shower facilities were clean although compact. Nice view from tent camping area, although it is an uphill walk from the facilities. Location is suitable for hiking to the lake.

Very nice camping just next to the start of the hike to the lake. It has everything you need - hot showers, an area to clean your dishes and 2 indoor areas where you can cook. You can also order fresh bread every morning. Great value for money. The owners are really friendly and have us recommendations on what to do around.

We have mixed feelings after staying for 2 nights in the tent in the Camping Rendez-vous. Pros: -outstanding views, comfortable setting for the tents: each tent has it’s own numbered spot, with different levels; - friendly and helpful staff. -There are areas, where you can eat your meal under the roof, so called barbecue areas, if it’s raining, that’s great! Cons: -the reviews about far location of the bathroom are true. You have to walk up and down the hill rather far if you need to use the bathroom, it’s very inconvenient! -On the top of the that, you have to pay for the shower! It’s our 5th camping during our trip around Switzerland and the first with paid shower! - very strange layout of the bathroom.. there are separate cabins for men and women in the toilet area, but there is only 1 sink. Then, when you enter the separate shower area, there are numerous additional sinks to use. But it seems, that not everyone notices them as there are located behind the door. If you don’t use the paid shower, you simply won’t notice them! During our stay I saw people brushing their teeth everywhere: on the hill close to the tents, using the sinks where dishes are being washed inside and outside, 3 people were brushing their teeth all at the same time over 1 sink in the toilet area. So maybe it’s a good idea to state that upon the arrival check-in, for people not to be confused. -again, if you are in the tent, there are not enough parking slots for everyone. They state that there a is additional parking spot down the hill, but you will have to go up and down the hill again. We are not lazy and came to the country to hike, but you can imagine that after a long day hiking to continue going up and down, it’s not something to enjoy. - stated WiFi works only around reception area, it does not cover tent places.

Turned us down as fully booked. They wouldn't even allowed us to pay only to dispose gray water and black water. I was there last year and it wasn't so overcrowded. Better to book in advance, specially with large campervan

Really nice camping with friendly and helpful owners in beautiful surroundings. The sanitary and other services on the campsite are very well taken care off. It’s a perfect starting point for trekking and you can go the Oeschinensee from the by cable way or take the nice walk. It’s possible to order bread which was really tastefully! We could stay only one day due to limited time but would love to come back and stay longer to explore the beautiful nature there! Highly recommended.

Amazing site, great view of the mountains and waterfalls from the terraced camping pitches. Very handy grill hut to cook dinner. Washing area very clean (but a bit of a trek downhill from tent pitches). Direct access to Oeschinensee by path or by cable car. Very friendly welcome. Will happily return.

Absolutely beautiful! We loved camping here. The surroundings are stunning and I love how the places for the tents are sort of tiered so everyone gets a great view of the mountains. We didn't have access to electricity but that's ok. The bathrooms and sink for doing dishes are located closer down towards the restaurant and it can be a bit of a walk, but it's so pretty we didn't mind at all. I don't think they take online reservations - you have to call. I'd love to come here again.
