The campsite is located in an absolutely dreamlike setting. We stayed in an A-frame cabin, essentially a wooden tent, and genuinely loved every single detail. The night we arrived, the temperature dropped to –11 °C, so we were a bit concerned about the warmth inside, but we were pleasantly surprised to find a perfectly heated and very comfortable sleeping space.
The cabin has many thoughtful touches, such as extra storage space on the sides, charging points, reliable Wi-Fi, coat hangers, and even a plastic basket for wet shoes. Ours had a mountain view, and at night we could see a sky full of stars surrounding the campsite.
The shared bathrooms were spotlessly clean, and we regularly saw staff cleaning them during our stay, which was very reassuring. At reception, we were able to rent a hair dryer free of charge, as well as a sledge (€10 per person, including helmets), which we used on the sledge slopes of Piz Sorega, highly recommended. The team at the reception were also very kind and helpful!
All in all, this was a unique and magnificent experience. If you’re looking for a little adventure, this is definitely the place to be.
