What a great little campsite. The owner/staff were so helpful. The pool is amazing

Our stay here was mixed. We camped for two weeks. The campsite is off the beaten track and quiet and small compared to ones nearer the coast. It is in a pine forest so there is plenty of shade. The pitches are a good size and clearly marked out. The pool is great, though deep throughout. The campsite staff were attentive and friendly, creating a relAxed atmosphere. The food t the bar was good value, more snack bar than restaurant.||The first week at the end of July, as very quiet, the showers and toilets were spotless and it was very relaxing. This was a contrast to the second week we were here. this was the start of august and a large international scout camp booked in consisting of about 50 children and teenagers. The showers and toilets were over run. There were only 8 sowers and toilets for the whole camp, so not enough to deal with the amount of people. The scouts dominated the pool most of the afternoon and then moved onto the showers. After they had used them they were dirty so we had to wait until last thing at nigt until they had been cleaned, to use them. The scouts were making noise well past midnight, wandering around the camp and sitting outside our tent chatting.||So the second week was a complete contrast from the first. I would totally recommend this campsite as long as there is not a large group staying there as, they simply do not have the facilities to cope!

We had a bungalow for two adults and two boys aged 16 and 20. It was very hot so we really appreciated the pool. The site is set in the countryside near Vejer. I had a couple of early morning runs through the sandy fields locally and got beautiful views of Vejer with the sun shining on the white buildings.||The town of Vejer on the hill, was near and had shops for everything we needed. Our bungalow was well equipped and had plenty of room. It had a huge fridge freezer. 2 gas rings and a microwave oven and grill. The best local beach was about 6 miles or 10 km away. . The staff told us about a waterfall a few miles from the site. We went there on a hot day and enjoyed sitting in the pools of cold water. It looked like some people had set up a permanent pitch with storage for their bikes etc. I would definitely recommend this site. If I could change anything it would be to have air con, but that would put up the price

This is a very special spot - it is in the middle of pine forests, teeming with wildlife, and it's only 10 minutes from the most beautiful, unspoilt beaches in Spain. The stunning 'pueblo blanco' of Vejer de la Frontera is only 3 minutes away by car, so there's plenty to do nearby. The campsite is small, and family-run, but if you go in the Summer, it has the most beautiful, large swimming pool. There's a restaurant near the pool and the food served is all home-made and economical. The owners are from Valencia, so the paella is to die for! There are some beautiful walks on the doorstep, from which you can see cameleons and if you're lucky, ibis. It's a paradise for children - it's safe and there's a lovely little playground on site. We recommend it!

We live about 2 miles away, and have been coming here on and off for over ten years for a beer and a meal.||It was taken over by new owners around 2 years ago and has improved considerably.||We have never stayed there overnight, but they have a lovely secluded camping area, set in a forest away from the main road. They also have separate bungalows to rent.||There is an outside sheltered restaurant, it is sheltered by large pine trees, as they grow through the floor of the patio. ||They have a small but reasonable menu. A huge and basic salad is 4€, beer 2.50€ for half a litre, big plate of chips 2€, tasty hamburger 3€, a hot dog I think is 1.50€ I. Vodka 2.50€ for the large Spanish measures.||As it is away from the coast (about a 9 mile drive), it is a lot quieter and not party orientated unlike some campsites in Canos and El Palmar.||If you are not staying there, it is also possible to pay to use the large pool. It used to be 4€ per person.

My boyfriend and I made a trip in Andalucía and this was one of lots of campings were we stayed. And from all 16 campings or more, I can say this one was the worst! Our stay was really terrible.||We arrived somewhere in the beginning of october and the camping was deserted. Which is not a problem at all of course, but the toilet/douches were soooo dirty. It wasn't cleaned in weeks, it smelled terrible... we were sooo disgusted. The camping parcels were poor too. There was garbage at nearly every parcel. pffff, we didn't like it at all. And on top of it we needed to pay more than we had payed on other nice campings! I really would NOT recommend this place...

Family of 4 - two young teen girls. Intended to stay 3 or 4 nights to allow us to find a site nearer the beach. Ended up staying 15 nights.||Looked at a few sites nearer beaches - just not for us - as is typical just too noisy & crowded.||Here the pitches large and well spaced, nice pool and very friendly staff.||Ideal location to tour and visit the are - different beach every day if you want.||||Only down side a lit of ants!
