Camping Vliegenbos Amsterdam

It is a very beautiful place, where you are in touch with nature just a few kilometers from the city. The cabin we rented was cute and very clean when we arrived, with a very smart design to save space, still a bit too small for a family of four with two teenagers, though. The shared bathrooms and the showers were always clean. You have to walk about a kilometer to get to the train station that takes you to the city. It’s a nice walk, but it gets tiresome after the third day. In general a very good place to stay, good price and excellent service, we would probably stay there again.

If you're planning a trip to downtown Amsterdam, this campsite is a great choice. It's just one metro stop away from the central train station, and you can also take the free ferry. The campsite offers excellent amenities and is very secure. There's free Wi-Fi, free showers, and hot water 24/7. There are plenty of toilets and showers, so you don't have to wait long. Washing and drying facilities available The price is very reasonable. The staff are very enthusiastic and patient.

Well located site to the city , 5 min walk to Metro and 2 min ride to central station Site is very clean and tidy , all facilities were cleaned on a daily basis Check in was smooth We had a comfort pitch which was enough room , in summer time would not be big enou6for awning roll out but other pitches would be Loads local to walk to , chip shop , fruit and veg shop and supermarket We loved the site and had everything you needed within 5 to 10 mins walk Overall great site , great staff

Excellent location - so quick to get into the city. The little restaurant at the entrance is a lovely touch. A very nice American guy served us. Quiet at night even with vans parked close together. Nice, modern toilets. And there are two campsite cats! Nice visitors to the van at night.

Good location close to metro and bus stop making good conection to center or others torc in city. Common Area was clear. Staff was kind and helpful. Good price to quality. Every day morning you can buy fresh bread.

October 2025 The campsite is quite expensive, especially on the weekends with 32€ for a small tent and two people. The facilities are nice though and there’s an outdoor kitchen area. The cabins looked comfortable as well.

Great location for a city camping break. Not too far from train station and ferry crossing to central station. If your car or van is lower than euro 4 emissions you will need to pay a low emissions fee. If your camping here it's around €10 and the girls on reception can help you with that. For a city as big as Amsterdam the site is lovely and peaceful. Small cafe on site. Laundry. Toilets and shower facility's great.

Great location, such a pretty site. 25 mins walk to free ferry to centre of Amsterdam. Staff very helpful and friendly. Hired bikes from here and explored north Amsterdam. Stunning countryside!
