Camping Wolf - Parco nazionale d'Abruzzo

Beautiful and big campsite in an amazing location. But... Very dirty toilets and showers! And you have to bring your OWN TOILET PAPER!!! and slippers to visit a bathroom. Half of visitors don't follow this rule and the floors are always dirty. And they clean it only couple of time during the day. But the campsite is totally full and very big. And the bathrooms really need to be cleaned at least every hour.

First of all, you will not find a campsite that shares a fence with a wolf shelter, where you regularly hear wolves howling at night! Perfect size (not too big, not too small) and layout. Modern toilets&showers cleaned multiple times daily. Great campsite cafe that also sells local wines and produce. Nearby village with roaming wild deers (!!!), shops, restaurants and awesome walks less than a 5-min walk. Nicola, the manager, goes miles out of his way to accommodate everybody’s needs. No wifi, but good 5G signal. I have been camping for 25 years and this is the most unique place I have seen.

One of the best campsites we stayed on during our holidays in Abruzzo. Large shaded spots, spotlessly clean bathrooms with very hot water in the shower, and a friendly bar that serves coffee and an interesting selection of drinks. Very well run by the owners and you get to hear the wolves from the nearby enclosure howling at night. Highly recommended!

Beautiful first experience camping with our toddler. Even though we had some rain, everything was memorable. The campsite is run well and has the cleanest bathrooms I've seen at a site. The owner is very nice and helpful and the atmosphere is relaxing. We'll definitely be returning.

Camping is perfect for people who like being close to nature. Clean toilets, hot water, communal fridge and friendly staff. Beautiful views.

Great campsite! Facilities were amazing for a campsite. Right in town, great for starting hikes. Management speak English well. We'll definitely be returning!
