Camping y Hostal Tipanie Moana

We stayed at Tipanie Moana for longer than expected because it was such a great place. Benjamin is the most helpful and friendly host and was always ready to help us with both big and small problems. The hostel is very nice with great and clean rooms, kitchens and bathrooms (with hot water in the showers every day). The location is good and you feel both safe and at home at the hostel. |Benjamin offers different tours almost every day which are both affordable and you get to see many cool places.|We would indeed recommened staying here!

We had a double room with a private bathroom. The facilities are basic but very clean. The communal kitchens & dining rooms are well maintained. The owner Benjamin is very welcoming & helpful. A very easy 10 min walk to the main street & 15 mm mins to the water front. We enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic place with good accomodation - the cabins are small but cosy and equiped just good enough (jus like the kitchen). Benjamin and his wife are very friendly and helpfull hosts.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Amazing camping with friendly and attentive staff. We camped there from November 24-29, 2023 and the rate was 10 000 CLP per person per night. The campsite included hot showers, wifi, airport transfer, full kitchen and eating area. Perfect location with only a 10 minute walk from the town’s main street. The owner Benjamin was extremely hospitable. He provided us with in-house tour packages and car rentals at a discounted price. He definitely went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. Thank you Benjamin for making us feel so welcome on your beautiful island!

We were on Easter Island for 2 weeks for the Tapati Festival and spent all 13 nights with Benjamin at his campsite. the time there was indescribable. Benjamin and Jenny are great hosts and have hearts of gold. I can say that we felt like part of the Tipanie Moana family and not like tourists. After 10 days, Benjamin offered us to move from the tent to an apartment because it was starting to rain. really great gesture! We felt at home and can understand a fellow traveler who decided after her return to travel back to Easter Island and stay with Benjamin and Jenny again. Great hostel 10 minutes walking from both airport and town centre. Benjamin is a wonderful host, he picked us up and dropped us off at the airport giving us a welcome and farewell gift. He also got us discounted tickets for the Kari Kari ballet show. They offered various services, such as a full day tour (7 stops, 55,000 CLP pp with lunch) or transfer to/from Anakena for 5,000CLP. The room was big and clean, and so were the 2 well equipped kitchens. 110% recommended!

We had the most amazing week at Tipanie Moana! We couldn't have asked for better! Benjamin is the best host we have met in our 8 months of travelling, nothing is too much trouble for him. He organises tours of the island himself and helps you to organise different activities on the island for a great price. He also helps to bring all the guests together, we met some lovely people during our stay. Our room was perfect, we had our own fridge and kettle to make breakfast, there was always hot water in the shower and we had a very comfortable bed. The communal kitchen and toilets were always spotless. You can tell a lot of care and love goes into the hostel by all members of staff. I can't recommend this hostel enough, dont hesitate to book!

Highly recommended hostel! Pepe the owner made all of us feel at home and treated us as family members. As for the hostel itself, the bed was very comfortable and room size was enough for me. The kitchen is also fully equipped and every part of the establishment is always sanitized.
