Campingplatz Eichholz

This camping place in Bern is a unique experience. Fully equipped to accommodate solo travelers, families or groups of friends. We fully enjoyed the access to the Aar river and the amenities the place offers. Such a great place to drift down the river and have a good night of recharge before doing it again!

I visited this camp site in both winter and summer. Perfect for nature lovers. You can grill on the river bank at the grill sites. The campsite offers everything, there's even a restaurant. In winter they provide a bathroom with a shower. Winter parking spaces are outside the campsite with electricity available.

Campsite itself is reasonably nice, with a small playground and gas for cooking. However, the showers were extremely disappointing. Very badly designed. Only separated from the outside by bars, so very cold in cold weather. No place to leave your stuff, only in the small cabin which is not separated from the shower well and everything ends up wet. Especially bad if you have small kids to shower. Shower not included in the price, tokens need to be purchased separately and run very short. Overall, very disappointing for the price.

Super good location, you have to try the river float into the city! Nice on site restaurant and the people were friendly, plus good facilities and loads of space for tents!!!!

We came from 'Italy and found this campsite on the internet having decided to take a mini vacation at the last. We were really satisfied, the campsite is located next to a river where you can swim and be pleasantly carried away by the current coming out wherever you want thanks to "special stops ". The campsite has stoves and a place to wash dishes all for free use. People are really neat and leave clean, there are also tables where you can recharge your devices. The bathrooms are always very clean, as well as the showers which you use by putting a token, there is also the washer and dryer which you pay with francs. Inside the campsite you also find restaurant, bar and more... This is our first campsite and we really enjoyed it I highly recommend the place.

I have stayed at this camp site in both seasons, summer and winter. Although the campsite is closed in winter, they provide parking spaces with electricity and a container equipped with a toilet and shower. Practical area for those with a dog, because the walking possibilities are endless, important to leave clean. I will definitely be back here. Thank you
