Campingplatz Lübeck-Schönböcken

Very central camping in Lübeck. We were lucky to find a spot on arrival. One downside is that there are very limited number of showers and kitchen sinks for such a big campsite.

Nice place easy to get into town centre bus stop outside of site showers and toilets good reception very good and friendly had to drive onto pitch because our door is on the wrong side lol but would stay again

We followed the blue camping signs to this one, which was on the way out of Lubeck. The reception area was bright and welcoming and the receptionist was warm and friendly; thankfully she spoke good English. I mentioned we wanted to go into Lubeck by bus the following day. She soon produced a helpful map of the area and timetable.| We were guided to our pitch and were soon set up. Though we were at the far end of the site the WiFi was excellent. The showers were large and clean. You needed to buy a 50 cent token for 5 minutes of lovely hot water.| The bus stop for Lubeck was just outside the campsite. We have an interesting few hours in town and wished we were staying longer as there was more we would have liked to see on another day.| All in all a great campsite and interesting town.

The campsite was in a good location in that it is close to Lubeck centre but it is not a scenic location. Pitches were of a reasonable size. The facilities were clean, there is a 50 cent charge for a shower on top of the pitch charge for electricity. The receptionist was very efficient when we checked in. Overall an okay campsite.

The place itself is a bit run-down. There's only one sanitary area which is quite far away from the tent area. Additionally, you have to pay for a hot shower every time you use it🤦🏻‍♀️. Moreover, the campsite is next to a busy road which you hear while sleeping. It's also quite far from the centre.I wouldn't choose that campsite again.

We have never spent more than two nights here, and it seems normal in this camping. Everything is quite clean. The kitchen is a bit too small and you have to pay for the warm water in the shower as generally in Germany.

The pitches are lovely. Really well organised and thought out campsite. Very clean facilities and friendly hosts. Definitely recommend this site. Only stayed for 1 night on our way through but really wished we could have stayed longer

Perfect camping very close to Lubeck. 10 min biking to old town. You can take the local bus, just outside the camping in to old town. The camping sanitary is very fresh and worth the price. We stayed 3 nights
