Nice little stretch of grass and a fountain in front of the palace set this spot up for a nice relaxing serene spot to sit and take in where you are. There are some pretty good photo opps here, but much of the ground was cut off by police as the King was in the palace for holiday. We did not venture too close

A very nice park next to the royal palace. Very lightly attended by tourists because the entrance is on the far side of the palace and you will have to walk downhill a long time to find the entryway. Once inside, you can hang out and take pictures surrounded by nature on paths that were once walked by kings and queens of Spain. Take pictures with the royal palace and cathedral in the background, and they will look like they are floating.

It was a great walk around. The place is huge. I particularly love the trees around. Perfect for a hot day, the trees will give you a natural fresh feeling🥰

Hard to find the only entrance but the garden itself is beautiful. It has huge competition among other parks in Madrit but for sure worth visiting.

An expansive garden featuring and impressive range of flora and fauna. Walking through you’ll see many number of cultures and styles represented throughout the gardens in statues, structures and plants with some great views of the palace

This park is worth the visit! It's a pain it's not so easy to access walking (it's 30mins from the city center). There is a quiet atmosphere, it's quite nice and you have a beautiful view on the royal Palace. There are also peacocks and their babies in the park! And if you want to sit and have a drink, there is also one place inside.

One of the best parks I've ever been to. We went and sat down by the enterance at first to have wine and olives and peacocks walked right to the table. One had a bunch of baby peacocks - amazing! The gardens were also generally lovely.

It was very quiet and so peaceful inside. All you can hear is the humming beez sound and the singing birds around. The amazing view of the Madrid Royal Palace from the entrance of the park is perfect for photography.

Yelp
Beautiful park with the view of Royal palace. Conveniently located by bus stop for multiple bus lines. When I visited in May it closed at 8.

Yelp
Lovely palace gardens .... if it's a nice day- it is worth it to take a walk around to the only entrance on Paseo de la virgin del puerto - closer to the Pio principal train station . It's downhill from the palace . So if you plan to see the palace then remember after the gardens - it's a walk uphill . This place is free and so beautiful and quiet . Two peacocks walking around not very afraid of people near them . I saw horse and carriage with guards constantly circling around the top and the bottom of the palace.

Yelp
Beautiful Gardens If you are visiting Palacio Real, take a little time to visit the adjoining gardens. There is a lot to enjoy, and it is kept in immaculate condition.

Yelp
Designed in the 19th century under the rule of Queen Maria Cristina, Campo del Moro is an enormous green space abutting the Royal Palace. Open at 10am on weekdays and noon on weekends with free entry plan approximately 60 minutes to walk the loop around perfectly manicured grass, trees and flowers.

Yelp
this park was named after a muslim leader who camped here in the 12th century while attempting to re-conquer madrid. having toured several cities in spain prior to arriving in madrid, i could see that many famous landmarks have a strong muslim influence. located to the west of madrid's city centre, near the palacio real and jardines de sabatini, this park is lovely and i only wish i had more time to explore the gardens and study the trees and flowers here. there are several fountains and small ponds inside and it is a great place to stroll, walk, and jog...or just sit and admire the nature in front of your eyes. the park does close at dusk though (unlike other parks in madrid that close later) so be sure to depart before the gates are locked up for the evening.

Yelp
Beautiful park beside the Royal Palace! Just beside the Royal Palace, one should walk through it to take a resert, while be in the middle of Madrid. You can't avoid to take a photo of the Royal Palace from the park!
