Do not cut girls hair in there!!! The result and experience was horrible, the hair is completely uneven with strands of hair 6 cm shorter than others, one side of the head does not match the other in length. The worse part is that I approached him four times to say he was not doing it right and he did not care, quoting “I am the hairdresser”. My girl’s hair is completely ruined and its going to take months to recover from this. Muito mão mesmo! Horrível experiência e corte de cabelo, né se percebe como pode ter ficado tao mal.

I went in and asked for the price and they said it would be 20 euros. They forgot to mention that they will charge extra for the beard and that it would cost in total 50€! I have never in my life paid 50 euros for a haircut. Maybe it's on me that I had not read other reviews on this place before, because it seems like I am not the first that has to pay this obscene amount of money. The haircut is ok, but it's really hard to enjoy it when you have to pay this amount of money. The place could claim that this is the amount the haircut is worth, but then why would they not tell that this is what it would cost before getting the haircut? They probably saw that I was a tourist, and used it to charge this amount of money.

I’m a tourist here in lisbon, I went to a barbershop to get a haircut and ask for the price and the barber told me the price is 20€ which is expensive but legit. I started with the haircut, its was really nice and after the barber was done with my hair he asked me if I want him to style my beard as well. I said yes thinking the price is includes within the 20€. When he finished he’s job he told me that the price is 50€ which is ridiculous price for a haircut (on the bad side) I felt betrayed and sad!!

Best barber I‘ve ever been to. He really took his time(40 min) and cut very carefully. The price of 25€ is totally reasonable even though it‘s a little more expensive than the average barber in Lisbon. Thanks for the cut!

The short back & sides and a beard trim was good, but they charged me €50 which is the most I have ever paid for a haircut (and I used to live in London). I was expecting it to cost about €30 - as it's in the middle of Chiado and I expect to pay a premium - but €50 seemed very high, so - whilst the service was good - I would make sure to confirm the price beforehand. My rating is based on the value rather than quality (which was good).

The haircut itself was really good, and the barber was nice and proffesional, and I paid 25€, which is a bit much, but I had worse. The real issue was that people around me paid 50€ for their haircut (that included a beard). Luckily my barber was fair, and asked me if I wanted for my beard to be cut...

27 euros for a haircut and shave. The place is cool and full of history. They don't serve any drinks or coffee, which is a big bummer. But hey ... the haircut was good!!!

Mixed feeling about this place. On the plus side this was quick. On the other side : - canceled my appointment (for 9am) at 8:57am the same day (still managed to get there without an appointment - cut my cheek with a razor and doesn’t bother sayin sorry at any time - even if the trim was clean, it was not what I asked - told me it was 14euros for the beard, did not take CB and didn’t have any coin left so price magically goes from 14 to 15euros

Yelp
The hotel made an appointment for me and I got there on time and they were ready. I just wanted a shave for a wedding I was attending that day. What a great experience. Hot towel, horse hair brush, scary blade used with precision, and cold towel, with a nice cleanup after for around 10 Euros. So worth it and a great experience. They spoke almost no English but they new what a shave was and such a beautiful old establishment. An experience everyone should do sometime in their lifetime.
