Absolutely beautiful grounds! The property is well maintained and stunning! My family and I had a wonderful afternoon strolling the gardens and tasting the 4 wines. Sarah organized the tasting for us and was personable and helpful. We ran into Lorenzo, the gardener, on our walk through the garden and he showed us some little hidden natural huts. Our group had children— we brought a 2 year old and an 8 month old with us and they had a great time. The tasting did not include information about the wines but our group appreciated that because it’s rare to get to freely walk the grounds of a winery. Pro tip: take some picnic food so you can stop at one of the many tables.

Campovida is the most stunning winery! Beautiful gardens and grounds, gracious and friendly tasting room staff, and of course delicious, organic wines! Best winery in Hopland and Mendocino County by far🤍

What an amazing venue for a wedding, truly magical! My daughter got married this past June and we were so beyond pleased with everything from the beautiful venue to the incredible wine. The ceremony took place in the trellised grape arbor which was such an intimate, quaint space, perfect for the ceremony. The cocktail party was in the lush garden area surrounded by all the amazing flowers. It was the ideal backdrop for mingling with guests and perfect for having our champagne tower. One of my very favorite spots is where we ended up having the reception dinner, in the Tuscan garden. The space is so unique and has so much character. We had 160 people however, it felt again very intimate and I loved how it opened up to the large grass area with the dance floor which was so nice to be able to dance under the stars. It was the perfect fairytale wedding. Campovida was a great destination wedding location. It located in the small, charming town of Hopland. It was so nice to have our guests less than a mile from Campovida, in the two historic hotels in town. In addition, to the hotels there were many vacation rentals in town too. Lastly, Anna and Gary were so nice to work with, along with their team. Planning a destination wedding can be quite challenging and they were both very accommodating and such a joy with. We absolutely loved everything about the venue, hotels and town! Won't have changed anything!

Google
The most beautiful grounds. Sarah gave us a “to go” basket with 2 tastings and picnic blanket so we could enjoy the grounds. The wine was phenomenal and we enjoyed every single tasting. We left with multiple bottles and can’t wait to come back.

Such a beautiful space to wander in the garden and enjoy a glass of superb Rosé! Though today the Sauv blanc was perfect!

Campovida has something for everyone. Great wine tastings, amazing grounds to explore, and staff that is friendly, educated and committed to making your visit a memorable one. I recently attended my first weekend workshop at Campovida and it will not be my last. Everything is done with care and consideration for the guests. Needing a little time to rest and recoup from the busy pace of life Campovida was a perfect destination and I look forward to returning again soon.

Google
Amazing tasting products and fabulous customer service. I recently received a gift bundle of their Extra virgin olive oil and honey - which both are some of the best I’ve ever had. Part of the bundle was a lavender spray in a glass bottle that didn’t survive our -8 temps on our porch. I let them know only in the interest of information - no expectations. Instead, they made it right by sending a non freezable version to me. Much appreciated - I hope I can visit their location someday. I will definitely be gifting their products to my own friends after this great customer experience. Thank you.

We booked our wedding at Campovida back in 2019 and got married in 2022 after a COVID postponement. Campovida is SUCH a special place, and we know we will keep going back there for years to come. We chose to get married under the oak tree in the Spring when the venue is so beautiful and lush, which allowed us to keep flowers & decorations simple. All of our guests continue to rave about the beautiful setting, including the oak tree, the garden where we had our cocktails, and the Tuscan Garden for dinner & dancing. Amy and the whole Campovida team were amazing to work with and we feel so lucky that we were able to get married here!

Yelp
We went here for a site visit for a wedding venue. BEAUTIFUL! The owner took us on the tour with a staff member. So friendly and personable! The grounds itself are breathtaking, and this is in the beginning of March. I can only imagine the beauty when everything is blooming!!! And they have a donkey!!!!! Heaven!

Yelp
Delightful wines, charcuterie, olive oils and honey. Beautiful historic farm and garden setting with modern amenities. Wonderful staff.

Yelp
One of the best experiences I have had. Loved the service both Mackenzie and Sarah were amazingly helpful and welcoming. The wine was wonderful- left with at home bottles. The to-go tasting is an awesome way to enjoy the estate! The grounds are amazing-play some Bocce, feed the chickens and the donkey before exploring the gardens. If I could figure out how to retire here I would do ir tomorrow!!!!

Yelp
What an amazing wine tasting experience! We are not from the area, made our way here and spent two hours enjoying the grounds and fantastic wines. We will certainly back.

Yelp
Super Friendly. Great wines and tasting experience was excellent. Beautiful gardens to explore and was off the main road in Hopland which was a plus for me and my Husband to experience. The staff was kind and gave us great recommendations. Come and support this awesome winery and grounds

Yelp
Beautiful grounds, poor attitude and not accommodating for tasting that are not scheduled or called ahead. Never welcomed us, never offered to have us to a glass or tasting and walk the property.... just offered us an end picnic table with no real offer to have it. When we said we were leaving... then a nice young blonde offer to accommodate us. ( thank you for that ) . There are soooo many places to taste here...we are in the mood to only waste and buy wine where we are Wanted! I won't be back. Not to mention.... I dont know the story behind it... but there were about 8-10 cut down OAK TREES as you come in , that looked like they just needed to make room for the "pretty" trees .So boo on that!

Yelp
The tasting room is actually located in the same building as the stock farm restaurant. In the center or hopland. They will actually serve some food item's in the tasting room. Huge plus. Sarah who works in the tasting room makes you feel right at home and is very attentive and knowledgeable of the wines. There was a guy working (I wish I had gotten his name but also very knowledgeable and friendly unique mustache and wore suspenders) I recommend if you are heading up hwy 101 this is a must stop destination. Oh and did I mention they have beer. If you are going to Anderson Valley and on to the Coast, hwy 253 just south of Ukiah will take you into Boonville. Hopland is a very slight detour. And you will love the wines.

Yelp
We've been dedicated wine club members here for many years. Their intriguing and constantly rotating Old World varietals stand out from traditional California fare (Negroamaro or Piquepoul Blanc anyone?) with exceptional balance and flavor. I believe the pickups are at their associated Stock Farm restaurant in nearby Hopland, but definitely attend any offered events at the winery itself; it's true blissful tranquility amongst the rustic gardens and rolling hills. Obviously a bit off the beaten path away from standard-issue wine country, but to me that's exactly the point.

Yelp
This is the best wine I've ever had. Fran is an amazing host. The garden is beautiful. I highly recommend getting a bottle of the Sangiovese and Zinfindale. Way better than going to stuffy Napa. The restaurant that's nearby is also incredible.

Yelp
We came here once in February and another time in March for wine testing. Reasonable price and taste good "just $20" per person during this (covid). What a great deal!!! Plus the very nice very view from their backyard, make here is a must!!!

Yelp
I really have to give credit to the people running this place. No shortcuts and nothing short of perfection. The vibe in the tasting room is laid back and the owners are in the mix with the customers. That makes for not only an educational experience where you can get all of the questions you might have answered but also a feeling that they care a whole lot about whats going on in every aspect of the business they run. The location is not far off the beaten path and its well worth the side trip. The wine is amazing and the other products they offer (olive oil and honey) are amazingly delicious. Take the time to walk around the grounds. They have a gorgeous garden and a lake with a nice gazebo overlooking the surroundings. A perfect setting for a low key wedding complete with accommodations.

Yelp
Super beautiful, picturesque estate with indoor and outdoor seating. A true Northern California gem. Charcuterie board was a delight.

Yelp
This review is mainly for the grounds, the lodging and the general ambiance of this wonderful, magical place. My sister got married in here in late August and I cannot believe it took me so long to visit. My parents are wine club members and it's just a straight shot up 101. Hopland, the little town it's just outside of has completely changed now too - there's a craft beer bar, organic cafe, some of the still classic diners and Campovida's sister property which is a cool hotel, bar and full service restaurant cranking out amazing pizzas. Okay, onto the grounds here - they are impeccable. There's a large barn that's split into 6 rooms with 2 suites up top, we got one of those I presume because we had our little toddler with us. The room was huge, charming and the bathroom was really nice. One of those tub spas and large separate shower. The little kitchenette isn't much but more than does the trick and why would you be spending your time cooking in here? You're in Mendocino wine country! We rented out the entire property for family plus some guests, the rest of the folks stayed in Hopland or nearby Ukiah, but it was so awesome having everyone here. There's also a large farmhouse where the groom's family stayed that's a bit off the beaten path, a cottage and I think some other rooms too, but never saw those. The farm house is 3 bedrooms and has an amazing wraparound deck. Great spot for the after party. Oh - and the pool, it's outside, big, lots of shade and sunny spots and just overlooks the gardens and property, it's lovely. The gardens...my god, these are insanely beautiful and they grow most of the food here that they serve you, and the wedding meal was incredible. The veggies, chicken, salmon, appetizers, so fresh. My sister got married under this beatiful arch of nature, then we moved over to this epic reception area with a spread of cheese, fruits and charcuterie (Elaine Bell Catering from Napa for this y'all!) and an outdoor bar. The dinner and dancing area are so f**king cool and I have to drop the F bomb here because it was just amazing. You're under this awning covered in vines, then there is small grassy area where the bar and lounging area was, then a dance floor and DJ. The Campovida wine we had was solid, really pretty solid, nothing that blew me away, but I stupidly never went into the beautiful tasting room to try other wines. Next time, because I will be back no doubt. Finally - thanks to the staff for the genuine hospitality!

Yelp
Great service! The wine is amazing. My favorite is the Nebbiolo. There's a walk-in garden that you can stroll through and the scenery is just on point. Great to mingle with friends and get a little tipsy. Did I mention the wine is great? Yes 5 stars

Yelp
This place will forever be special given my husband and I got married here. I first found the winery from Pinterest. We scheduled a tour of the place when it was raining cats and dogs, and even then it was stunning! This venue is truly a beautiful place to have any type of event. Pros: 1. Staff extremely friendly & helpful. We have never gone here without experiencing outstanding customer service. We frequently go for tastings, and for our wedding, everyone was well-informed about the wines and took every effort to help us with the planning process. Sidrah was our coordinator, and I know she has now left Campovida, but she was outstanding! 2. Beautiful venue with endless amounts of personality! The venue itself is very large, and we liked how different areas offered different things. For example, our guests stayed on the premises where they played Bocci Ball and could go swimming. For our wedding, guests got to walk through gardens, by a beautiful pond, under ivy, etc. It really is a place that cannot be described- you must go yourself to see! We wanted a romantic atmosphere, and this definitely offered it! 3. Phenomenal wine! We fell in love with the venue, but we didn't know how fabulous the wine is there, too! We're now club members, and my husband and I joke how we have NEVER (not lying) had a bad wine from Campovida. Our guests loved all the selections, and I'm always excited to see the new wines that are released- they are outstanding! 4. Convenient. I personally liked how there were rooms for close family and friends to stay on the grounds the day of the wedding. Everything we needed was on site the day of the wedding, and I enjoyed that people could run back to rooms if they forgot something. 5. Beautiful hotel rooms. We stayed in the couples cottage along the path to our wedding site. The interior was beautifully decorated, staff checked-in on us, and the beds room comfortable- I have been to placed where that is not the case. 6. Quick responses. Sidrah always got back to me in a timely manner, and I always felt taken care of should any concerns be brought up or something got changed. She was fabulous with helping plan and manage my stress! CONS: 1. MUST purchase all rooms on site for weddings. It was wonderful to stay on site given family members wanted to do so; however, we had difficulty finding some that wanted to pay the amount that the rooms cost. We made everything work, but I wish people could have paid for their own rooms versus having to be charged all under one credit card. I understand why they do this, but it was a headache trying to figure out who was going where and collecting money, when that was the last thing I needed to be concerned about when planning a wedding. Wish there was an option where people could pay using their own credit cards and select their own rooms. 2. Nothing around. Hopland is really in the middle of nowhere, so out of town guests ended up staying in Ukiah (ten minutes north). For those having to fly to our wedding, it was difficult given there are no large airports nearby. Also, some guests gave us feedback after the wedding that there was not much to do in the area while they got into the town. I know that this is not Campovida's fault, but just writing this should anyone want a wedding here. 3. You must use their vendors. Having been an event planner for years, I understand why they do this- you want someone familiar with the property, especially since it is so large. However, many of the vendors I called were already booked, and I struggled to find someone in my price range that was on the list. In other words, this threw my budget off, and I wish this could have been provided BEFORE we signed contracts to use the venue for our wedding. Also, having been in the industry, I was hoping to use colleagues for my wedding, but had to eliminate this option. The other con in this is that many of the vendors also charged an arm and a leg to get to Campovida since they were not from that area. This frustrated me, and luckily family members helped us out to help pay. However, I know not everyone has that option. Overall, my husband and I had our dream wedding at Campovida! We frequently return and reminisce with wine in hand around the gardens. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this venue for a wedding or any type of intimate event. Thank you for everything, Campovida! :)

Yelp
I'd dreamt of visiting Campovida's mother ship location in Hopland, after sipping their wines at the Oakland satellite tasting room. I heard about the olive trees, the organic farm, the honey production, bocce courts, guest houses and all that. It seemed like the kind of magical venue that was worth a day trip, so up I went. The property is sprawling & stunning - a gorgeous wedding venue! You can wander the gardens and eat grapes right off the vine (though, it's probably not encouraged). The wine tasting room is chill, and seems like it would be rarely crowded, like hanging at a fancy friends house drinking wine. $10 gets you 4 pours, and the fee is waived with any bottle purchase. I liked the wines, didn't love. But did buy a bottle of delicious rose. Besides wine tasting, you can stroll the picturesque property, play bocce ball, or bring a picnic to enjoy under their vine-covered patio. A lovely way to spend the day in Hopland.

Yelp
Caleb! All I have to say! This guy is going places! He was amazing! He was attentive, cute, and the sweetest guy ever! Give this guy a raise!!

Yelp
Not only is the wine delicious and the ground beautiful, but everyone who works here is crazy nice and accommodating (kid friendly! Dog friendly!). Check out their covid-friendly garden picnic--truly dreamy! Also, you'll never have a crowd or tourists here which makes for an initiator experience. If you're a wine member you can even stay on-site (they have a pool!). I just wish rates for the rooms were a bit less but in general it's a good deal compared to Healdsburg rates.

Yelp
Wine is great, their social distanced tasting is very well done. On top of that Fran and Isaac are super super nice. Loved going here

Yelp
We had a lovely afternoon here sipping their Pinot Noir and Roussanne Marsanne Viognier. The staff were amazingly nice and knowledgeable, and took extra good care of my wife who was feeling under the weather. Beautiful grounds and very nice wines.

Yelp
Dearly beloved, We gather here today, to tell a story of a newly engaged couple who made the mistake of choosing the wrong wedding venue... Our story begins last December, when my fiancé and I toured Campovida for a May 2019 event. At that time, the property was brown but we were promised a very green property in May, with nice weather and not too many bugs. Everything sounded lovely, so we signed a contract and placed a $6250 deposit to hold the date. In May, we revisited the property in order to have a realistic idea of the foliage and take pictures. What we hadn't realized in the winter month (and was not brought to our attention) was that with the blooming flowers comes loads of pollen and poor air quality. Shortly after arriving for our visit, our allergies kicked in full force and we began sneezing and having breathing issues. My face became red and swollen, an unappealing look for a bride-to-be. Our brea hung issues got so bad that we were unable to get any sleep in the overnight accommodations. To add to our discomfort, there were bugs in the suite, and we ended up with lots of itchy bug bites. None of this felt right for our wedding weekend, especially considering the nearly $20k we would be paying in site fees alone. In the morning before our departure, we spoke with Amy and asked her if severe allergies this time of year are common. She replied that yes, it's very common, the staff deals with it every year and suggested we plan to medicate ourselves for the week leading up to the wedding to avoid a similar reaction. If you have taken antihistamines before, you know they come with a myriad of unpleasant side effects. The dream wedding we had been planning in our minds was beginning to unravel. After taking some time to talk through the options with my fiancé, we brought our issues to Amy in hope of some constructive suggestions for resolving our dilemma. Her friendly tone immediately switched and she began accusing us of making this story up because we had found another venue we preferred. After several accusatory back and forth emails and a phone call, we realized that we no longer had any interest working with Campovida. Sadly, we would lose our deposit because Amy insisted that she would not be able to rebook the date, stating it was too close, a full 12 months away. More importantly, she wouldn't even try to find an alternative couple for the date. We suggested other compromises, like taking wine credit instead of a refund on our deposit. She made it clear that they were not going to meet us for a reasonable compromise. They only offered to change our date or give us some wine to offset a small fraction of the loss. In the end it was the way we were treated that made us walk away from Campovida. They claim to be a family centered winery, but lack compassion and empathy for real life situations. Can you really justify $6250 for holding a date for a couple months? Personally, I don't think so. I hope that if you are considering booking your event with Campovida, you consider all the possible scenarios for your date, even ones that might seem unlikely. Or consider hiring a wedding planner who can help you think through possible scenarios before you sign on the line and hand over your hard earned cash.

Cassie L.

Yelp
We had our wedding at Campovida, and were fortunate enough to work with a team who were understanding, patient and accommodating especially during Covid. Special thanks to Amy, who worked incredibly hard and made sure our 3 day weekend event went through without any issues. Incredibly beautiful space, our friends and family were all in awe of the beautiful nature. Just incredibly stunning and a great team as well! :)

Yelp
Love this spot. You gotta dine on location to get the full tavern feel. Pizza is fresh and delicious. Salads are always great. Great place for couples and adult gatherings.

Yelp
What a fun, wide open Winery! Great for groups, having a picnic or just relaxing. Also well decorated insides and I can see why this place is so popular for weddings. The wine was ok I guess, but at least somewhat affordable. Bocce court is always a win too.

Yelp
Very beautiful winery that happens to be an Inn as well. I went here with my wife on the way to Lake county to do more wine tasting when we saw the sign for Campovida. Very artsy, contemporary tasting room with a friendly staff. Some of the wines i've never had before have been a Marsienne (french varietal) and a white wine meant to age for 12 years. Their Zinfandel and Charbono were pretty darn good. While we did our tasting we had an option of having bread and olive oil or local honey. We were encouraged to check out the beautiful garden, and then return to try some more reds. This is a great spot to bring kids to because it is so close to nature. And truly a gem.

Yelp
Family and close friends stayed at Campovida's incredibly beautiful property while celebrating my son and his partner's wedding weekend. They are "next door" neighbors of Anna and Gary's and have a country retreat in the next property over. The rooms/suites are tastefully decorated, the salt water swimming pool is refreshing, the gardens are peaceful, and the hospitality is warm and gracious. We were all impressed. We didn't have much time to visit the tasting room with our family activities, but I've stopped there before. It's fun and a great stop while in the area. This is a must see place, and a perfect venue to hold an off-site meeting, wedding, or family reunion. Judy O.

Yelp
My daughters and I used to spend hours at the garden here. They called it the Secret Garden. In the summer and fall it's absolutely beautiful. I feel so recharged after spending an afternoon here. They used to have an amazing deli and maybe working towards putting one in the near future. Which would be great. You can bring a sack lunch buy a bottle of wine and have a great lunch in the garden. There is a nice bocce ball set up and tons of picnic table. I came here for a Emeril Lagasse show once. It was just wonderful. You can rent out the grounds for special events. Please help support the regrowth of this organic winery. Used to be Fetzer now Campovida. You will be glad you did. If you don't bring your own food you may be a sorry. So be sure to bring snacks or sack lunch. I can't stress that enough. Do so and you will have a great visit.

Yelp
A truly amazing property! Having lived in wine country my whole life, I find most tasting rooms boring but I loved the vibe and I was instantly planning on who I could bring back with me next visit. It's really pretty and worth the drive!

Yelp
I'm upset because I can't remember the two names of the girls who gave us wine tasting but it is the 18th of July and we had a reservation for 4pm. Hey were so amazing and knowledgeable! The wines are fantastic! I am not a HUGE fan of sparklings one roses but they had the best brut I've ever tasted and a very good rose as well! We purchased the brut, the 2015 carignane and the Malbec! I'm not a fan of Brut but this is the best one I've tased! I'll definitely be back soon! Thank you for all the great info and wine!

Yelp
I was in the area for a wedding that was just north of Hopland. I travel for work and also visit the area, I asked the sales person at one of my stores where to go if I want to do some wine tasting. He reccomended organic winery Campovida. I had no idea what I was in store for, he mentioned a tour and wow it was far more than I expected. When we got there we first noted how beautiful the grounds were. The master gardner Ken was still on his lunch break so we did some wine and honey tasting until the tour was going to start. The honey was perfect and their olive oil was really good too. One of the gardners brought in a plate of different cucumbers and tomatoes, many I had never heard of, they were amazing. Then it was time to take a tour of the herb garden. The herb garden was so cool, could be really romantic with the right person and weather. We walked through and Ken told us all about each herb; what types of dishes they are used in, where they come from and what they taste like. We would pull leaves of each type of herb and taste them. I discovered some new herbs that I can't wait to use. They do hold events at this winery and it seems there is a decent amount of space and parking too, so if your looking for something elegant with a laid back athmosphere check this place out. Thanks for the recommendation Nick!

Yelp
Had the opportunity to visit the Campovida Winery for a tasting on our trip through the Mendocino valley. Great wines presented by our superb host Jonah. He helped us make some nice selections to take home. Jonah also impressed with tastings of local olives, honey and olive oil. A must stop in Hopland for any lover of wine, locally-grown goodies and especially the hospitality. Truly a beautiful vineyard, facilities and staff!

Yelp
Wow i can't believe how few reviews there are. This place is AMAZING!!! this is hands down the coolest wine tasting experience i've ever had and i would recommend this to anyone. you will LOVE Campovida if: - you like wine and don't want a stuffy, over-priced Napa-style tasting room with stingy pours - want to try Campovida wine and local Mendocino County wines from other wineries - you like strolling through beautiful gardens WITH your wine (extra bonus: they have garden tours and give you more than enough samples of fresh herbs, fruit and vegetables, literally straight from the garden) - you like amazing service and friendly people - you like fresh-pressed olive oil and pure, organic honey made on-site! my boyfriend had a mendocino/fort bragg july 4th weekend planned and thought we'd drive up 101/highway 28 through wine country, stopping at some cool places in anderson valley on the way. well, we were flipping through Sunset Magazine and noticed a recommendation for Campovida, described as "organic farm and wine tasting alfresco." ummm...yes please! the wine is wonderful, but the setting is what really sets this place apart from all the others. Campovida is in a little town called Hopland, just about 20 minutes from Healdsburg, and well worth it!! we had planned to be there about an hour, and spent an entire afternoon there, completely bypassing our original plan. we sipped wine, talked to the most friendly people who worked there (in the tasting room and in the gardens), took a garden tour, sampled all kinds of herbs, fruits and vegetables, and ended up going home with a few bottles of wine, AND bulbs of garlic and onions that we literally snipped from the garden! oh and around 5ish, they put out cheese and salami and crackers. and when we got there, there was fresh olive oil and honey, made on-site. this was truly the most unique wine country experience i've had to date, and i will definitely be coming back, and telling everyone about it!

Yelp
When I saw that there wasn't any reviews I just couldn't resist. This place is a must if you enjoy classy and sophisticated tasting rooms with a super laid back vibe!! We came to this place by mistake when we were casually driving the back roads of Ukiah and Hopland. Thinking there were more tasting rooms then there actually are, when Campovida appeared we were thirsty and ready to stretch our legs. The tasting room and the property are beautiful. Lots of well manicured land, a 5 acre or larger Estate Garden is a perfect place to take a stroll. The circular copper bar top and very friendly wine enthusiast John gave a nice wine presentation and made everyone feel welcome. We had the best time in there and tasted some of the best wine (Mendo Farms Grenache) and left with intentions of coming back some day. It is a quick jaunt from Hwy 101 in Hopland out Hwy 175 about 1 mile, and Fetzer is right there too so you can do a few tastings outside of town before you go to SIP! in downtown Hopland, which is also a good recommendation because they carry some of the local wines of the exact wineries we visited but didn't offer tasting rooms.

Yelp
I was recently at my daughter's wedding there. My suite was clean and beautiful BUT NEITHER THE SHOWER HEAD WORKED, NOR THE PLUG TO THE JACUZZI WORKED, WHICH MADE SHOWERING AND DRESSING FOR MY DAUGHTER'S WEDDING A CHORE. Maintenance was informed, came out and diagnosed the problem, but DIDN'T FIX! I had to shower elsewhere. This would be a beautiful venue in the summer when it is still light at 8 and 9 at night. But two weeks ago, it became dark by 7:00 pm. There was no signage or lights to enable the guests, including me, to find our way from the dinner venue to the barn for dancing and dessert. My daughter should have been informed that this could be a problem. Additionally it was a long walk, on a dark unlit gravelly path that twisted and turned, to reach the barn from the dinner venue. My daughter should have been informed of this problem and golf carts should have been made available. As we were walking back, we discovered they were on the property as we saw maintenance staff riding them. Golf carts should have been been proposed as an option, as surely staff knew it would be dark and could have assumed their would be elderly people attending the celebration. NOTHING WAS SAID TO THEM ABOUT THIS PROBLEM. Additionally, the bridal party should not have had to have struggle in their dressy clothes and high heels to the ceremony site. Especially because leaves and twigs were caught in their bridal gowns and veils. I also was unhappy with the parking because, the parking was not close enough to where we were staying to easily take baby items and suitcases to our room. There was no staff to assist us. Certainly when hosting a relatively large and very expensive wedding, the difficulty with evening affairs at this time of year should have been made known to the brides and options and suggestions should have been made to assist the bridal party and their guests. I would not recommend this winery as wedding venue unless it was for an informal wedding of young people in the summer. To have to use our flashlights on our cell phones to find our way was very stressful and ruined the ambiance of the setting.

Yelp
We love Campovida! My husband and I had our wedding at Campovida in July and our guests are still raving about how beautiful it was. It was truly the most beautiful, romantic and perfect setting for us to begin our journey as husband and wife. Amy and Aimee were such a pleasure to work with and made us feel so comfortable. Our family stayed on site for the weekend and it was so nice to have everyone together right there on the grounds. The rooms are comfortable and perfect for a wedding weekend. Thank you to the entire staff for the wedding of our dreams!

Yelp
We stumbled upon Campovida while exploring wine country. All I can say is we got lucky! Our server Jonah was awesome! We sat outside and relaxed while we sampled wine. After we explored the gardens that are just too beautiful to describe! If you are in this area stopping here is a must!

Yelp
Beautiful grounds, and a good Sav Blanc, but they have a group of wholly unremarkable reds we tasted. A friendly but overwhelmed gent was pouring for us, leaving us on our own for long periods. A bit of bad luck on timing. But it was a Saturday, so I'd have thought they'd be a bit more prepared for a bunch of people coming to taste in the afternoon.

Yelp
Stopped by here on our way back to the Bay Area and I'm glad we did! The facilities and grounds here stand out. They have an immense elaborate garden that you can meander through. They've got legit bocce courts and lots of picnic tables. It's idyllic and picturesque During our tasting, we were poured 5-6 wines. My impressions were mixed. I wasn't a huge fan of the white or rose but a couple reds were appealing. I would not classify these wines as a good value. Most topped $25. I didn't feel the quality to price ratio was there but there were a few tasty pours. Our servers were friendly & pleasant. They gave us a small pile of bread cubes to dip into their lovely olive oils. Once we had finished our flights, they poured us 2 glasses of wine to enjoy while we walked through the garden. Very generous and welcoming!

Yelp
Really beautiful grounds. Would be an amazing place to have an event. Take a walk thru the gardens. The grape tunnel with all of the different varieties of grapes growing above you is really remarkable. Botchy ball courts, picnic area, and one of the most beautiful oak trees I have ever seen. They also sell organic eggs and produce. Only bummer is their wine sucks.

Yelp
This winery was awesome! The grounds are gorgeous, the servers are quick, knowledgeable, and freindly. The wine was pretty good. Some not my favorite flavor profile, but definately interesting varietals all worth trying! I had to go twice while I was in the area! This will be a usual stop for me from now on :)

Yelp
Beautiful location, warm, knowledgeable people. The organic gardens are an eden- like setting. One of my favorite places for wine-tasting. The restaurant in Hopland is delicious as well and another one of my local favorite destinations.

Yelp
The olive oils are nice, but way overpriced compared to other local producers. Wines are thin, uninteresting and once again, overpriced. Staff is condescending in that "rude with a smile" kind of way. Gardens are lovely, but the prevailing attitude kills that buzz right away.

Yelp
My husband and I got married at Campovida last month and everything was magical! The events team (and entire staff!) at Campovida are awesome and wonderful to work with. Super professional and responsive and they partnered very well with our wedding planner to help make our wedding day vision come to life! The grounds are beautiful...simply out of a fairytale. Every corner you turn, there is something new to explore and discover. Not to mention, the wine is superb...we even joined the Pura Vida wine club! Our families and bridal party all stayed onsite for the wedding weekend and it was such a fun experience. There is definitely something to be said for "unplugging" from TV and other distractions and completely soaking in mother nature and enjoying time with the people that matter most to you. Our wedding weekend was pretty hot, so we were able to enjoy the pool on Saturday before the wedding ceremony. So many wonderful amenities and just a truly unique and memorable experience all around. We tried to utilize as much of the grounds as possible for our wedding weekend so we chose to get married under the oak tree, we had our cocktail hour in the Tuscan Garden, and then our reception took place in the vintage hop barn. Wow, that barn transformed into a magical space, with chandelier and dim lighting...super romantic and cozy! We then moved the dance party outside to the courtyard under the moon and market lights and danced the night away! It was the best weekend of our lives in the most beautiful venue, surrounded by all our favorite people! We can't wait to return to Campovida on our anniversary to walk the grounds with a glass of wine in hand and reminisce about our special day. Hands down, best venue ever and highly recommend for your special event, retreat or fun getaway!

Yelp
Campovida will promise you the sun moon and stars and deliver what is convenient- Promise 1. You will have the venue the entire week of wedding. oops. Someone else got the week , we get to come in Friday for Saturday wedding. Promise 2 bonfire after wedding. Oops the message did not get passed along thru the 5 different planners we have worked with during the year. Promise 3. You can reserve the venue rooms Oops. We were refunded the money but lost use of one of the rooms we had reserved. Beautiful setting. Questionable management

Yelp
Lovely site with warm and friendly staff. Surprisingly large and upscale facility. Excellent wines and a wine tasting policy that is easy to live with.

Yelp
I had my wedding at Campovida and I can't tell you how many people were amazed by the beauty of my venue. Not only was Campovida one of the most beautiful places, it was very environmentally conscious. They use sustainable and local resources , have a composting and recycling program, solar panels, they even have there own honeybees they use for honey. After meeting the gracious owners and taking one look at the gardens I knew Campovida was the perfect place for the wedding. The owners Gary and Anna were so extremely welcoming and accommodating. Lisa the even coordinator, was so helpful and nice to work with. The ceremony took place in the beautiful gardens. As you walked to the ceremony cite, you pass these gorgeous flowers, herbs, vegetables, artichoke plants, and fruit trees. Everything was in bloom and thriving. One of the things my venue had to have was a barn, and Campovida had the most beautiful barn. I knew the barn would be perfect for the reception. There was plenty of room for 150 people, a bar, and a band in the barn.

Yelp
Came here for a wedding and it was sooooooooo stunning. It was outside about 100 people but could have accommodated more. The gardens were so pretty it must have saved the couple a ton on flowers. The food was outsourced and great too. The wine was excellent and they had a full bar too which is always a nice touch. They had a great set up for the bride to get ready near the restrooms too. It was a little bit of a drive from Healdsburg so I would recommend providing transportation since it was so nice to take a bus home at the end of the night. I didn't drive but it looked like parking was easy. My only warning is the walkway is gravel, so everyone with a stroller, in heels, or had a walker were really struggling. If you have grandparents with a walker/wheelchair maybe there is another entrance? Ladies don't wear heels or bring a change of shoes :)
