Cams Kiosk has been on the list for a while. I love the location. To walk to the restaurant we walked through the Convent. It was the perfect summers night, and such a great way to start the meal.
On the menu tonight we shared.
1. Burrata, spring onion, green chilli, forvm vinegar. 3.75/5
2. Casarecce, pork and fennel, cavolo nero, peas, confit garlic, lemon. 4.5/5
3. Spaghetti, garlic, lemon, crispy chilli oil & pangaratto. 4/5
Along with a couple of wines, this was a really well rounded selection to share. The choice of green chilli in the burrata was effective and refined, it added a subtle spice to it. The star of the show was the pork and fennel pasta. As much as we tried to slow down, we couldn’t stop eating it and commenting on every bite. Maybe it was the mint from the peas or the blunt umami from the pork, it was delicious. Also special shoutout to the fresh bread and crispy chilli on top of the spaghetti, YUM!
Can’t wait to spend many more summer nights here.
